Wanted a quote for a new 3 ton AC system. Submitted request online. They called me to set up an appointment and fit me in that day. We met and he thoroughly looked at everything and discussed options and explained everything. Was very professional. I’ve had 3 quotes and Ideal’s was not the cheapest but it was not the most expensive and they were probably the most professional. They prefer to install Tranes, in case that matters to you.

Work was done professionally and timely. I dealt with Eric and he seemed knowledgeable and professional, and he worked with me on the price.

Prior to summer, we decided to replace our (still working) A/C and heating systems (22 years old). Ideal Air had been the company we used for regular maintenance for most of those 22 years, so we felt they deserved a chance for this job. We got a bid from them and decided not to research any other contractors. We purchased 4 ton and 3 ton Trane variable speed systems and Aprilaire whole house filters. Units also required a swap out of thermostats (which had been discussed at purchase time). They can be accessed via touch screen and/or app, if configured. Install date was set for a couple of weeks out from the date of the in-home consultation and purchase. Workers arrived at time promised, and completed job in a little less than 2 days, which is what they allotted themselves. The weather/temperature was such that we didn't require the use of either unit, so that allowed them to work on one unit at a time, after removing BOTH units first. Workers were professional and courteous. The only issue we had with Ideal Air was trying to get adequate documentation after the job was completed. It took almost 3 months to get registration and warranty papers, and SEER rating sheets, as the SEER rating changed (for the better) from the standard sticker that was on the outside A/C unit, when the A/C unit was coupled with the "matched" equipment that went into the attic. The units are awesome (but NOT cheap). Our electric usage hasn't been over 700kWh so far for the 3 months they have been in use, and we have had the thermostat set lower than we did previously. Ideal Air did an excellent job. Hopefully, the issue of getting all the paperwork afterwards was an aberration and not the norm.

We asked Ideal to evaluate our very elderly, existing air conditioner units and give us a bid to replace them. Eric represented them, was punctual and very professional. He gave us a written estimate and answered all our questions. We did our price comparisons and decided Ideal had offered the best deal. They arrived punctually on the day we scheduled the installation, did a good job installing the new units, made some adjustments to make our system run more efficiently, installed new thermostats, and took care of a couple of minor things we had asked them to deal with while they were here. They charged exactly what they quoted, cleaned up after they finished, and were both polite and professional throughout the process.

Derrick was on time (within the window given) and very professional. When he did the check he discovered my system was low on refrigerant and detailed the cost of replacing it before he did the work. The he checked for the cause of the leak (the coil) and explained my options. While he was unable to replace the coil on the same day, that is a part that needs to be ordered, he had the part ordered and scheduled the day and time to replace it. I will call this company again.

Excellent ! Danny is an expert.. he quickly explained the reason for this difference and while at it, answered many other questions and helped me change out an air-filter. I was so impressed with him, and the company he represents that I signed up for an annual maintenance contract. Ideal Air was also very flexible with the appointment, I had to reschedule it two times and they accommodated me graciously. Also, I put an 'N/A/ in the 'Price' section because they did not change me anything!

Was impressed at how thorough the original inspection was and the quality of the job was great.

Well, I think. I have a tenant in the house. The service person showed up on time and did the work, but I never got feedback and still don't have an invoice.

Timely, informative and very professional. We have been using Ideal Air for the past few years and have always received excellent service and advise for our whole house system and a min-split we had installed in a room addition.

I've been working with them for about 8 years. They programed the thermostat and we didn't have any experience with it so that was very helpful.

Technician was punctual, timely, and very knowledgeable.

Eric arrived promptly at 9:00 he called prior to arriving giving me 30 minutes notice. He was very polite and professional took his time cleaning and checking the system. Gave me an all is well report. Recommended a couple of small things. No pressure what so ever (appreciate that) I would not hesitate to hire them again for any furnace/air conditioning needs.

They did an excellent job for us. It's actually paying for itself. It's a very efficient air conditioning unit. We're seeing about $45 reduction on our electric bill. The replacement for the filters is $65. That's a good deal. They did excellent work. We were very pleased with them. I've used them for precheck of the air conditioner for the summer and to check the furnace. We use them for everything. They are really good.

We had them out twice to check on our heat and a/c units as we had moved into a new house. We spent a considerable amount with them to repair the A/C units which they assured would keep them from needing replacement. We also had them check the heating units and were assured that they were in working order. Upon moving into the house weeks later the heater never worked and was spouting cold air. We called them numerous times to have them come out and take another look, the office assured we would be contact and we never were. I would not use or recommend them as they do not seem to value their customers. Having spend a considerable amount with them we expected better service. We ended up using Abicus and had the heating unit replaced as the gas line was cut and the unit was original to the house (+20years old).

After original price quote, he called an hour later to install the board for 800 dollars. I wanted to get another quote so I called another company to get a price comparison. The second I spoke to offered to do it for WAY less. So, I agreed to have this second company come out. They did so and found there was a complete misdiagnosis. All he needed to do was clean out the igniter switch (it was clogged). This second company cleaned it out and it worked PERFECTLY. I was very upset with Ideal Air because that is an awful misquote and I was the one who would have paid the price. There was an 800 dollar difference that was quoted between service call fees and estimated labor vs what was actually wrong.

James came over and gave me an estimate. I gave Ideal Air the go ahead and they ordered all of the parts without any prepayment. It took about two weeks for the parts to arrive then the work was scheduled. Total install took approximately 8 hours. They took great care to protect my new wood floors and also cleaned up after themselves. James reviewed the new thermostats and controls with me and also explained how the system worked and how it should perform. They were polite, professional, and really were a pleasure to work with.

Everything was great. Will definitely use them again.

Eric, was extremely nice. We were talking outside while he was checking the temps from the AC unit. My daughter (7) asked him if he was hot and wanted water. She went in the fridge to get him a bottle. I will be using Ideal again but will be asking for Eric.

It went very well. The service was excellent. We are doing well over here. They came out either that day or the next day and they did it.

I initially contacted this company because the AC was not cooling the house. They found two leaks, and were able to fix one. Since the second leak was in the coil, they recommended replacing it. Eric gave us tons of information and answered all our questions. We decided to replace the coil. Ideal Air Services did an excellent job.

We bought a new house and the A/C systems are on their last legs so we had the provider give us an estimate for two new air conditioners and Aprilaire whole home air purifier system. As you can imagine the costs were substantial and were higher then our other estimates but they only carry the best and highly energy efficient products which is why the costs is so high. We were interested in cheap system that were going to crap out in a couple of years so this didn't deter us. They were so knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything, and honestly it was like having a sweet favorite Uncle coming to your house. Not only did they not pressue us at all but knowing that we had a lot of expenses they suggested that we could fix up the old systems to try to get a little more time out of them to ease the expense and pressure on us. I love that they were able to listen to our needs instead of trying to push the sale of the two units on us, which I feel most companies would do, because of this I will only chose them to service us in the future! Oh and the air system seems great so far, we have really bad allergies and although we installed it at the end of the allergy season for us so I can't really notice a difference in that yet, the amount of dust in the house is so little. I am talking like a quarter of the amount of dust and I don't see dust floating in the air when the sun shines in the windows. I also notice anytime I cook anything there are no lingering smells! I was so happy with the service and will continue to come back!
