Walfredo and Jane arrived on time both days; they worked all day, checking with me when there were questions to ensure the work was exactly what I expected. They cleaned up at the end of both day and left the work area spotless!! I will definitely plan to use them again on future projects and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Work was excellent, completed in a timely manner. Walfredo cleaned up when work was completed. I would definitely hire him again.

Easy to schedule appointment via Angie's List. Walfredo arrived exactly on-time, introduced himself at the door, provided business cards and proceeded to do a terrific job. Cleaned up the dust and made sure we were satisfied with his work. Very fair price given his travel time and the work performed. We will be calling him again in the future.

My door frame had some damage but the handyman was able to fix it and then put the new door on. Photos show before and after.

Walfredo, returned my call promptly and arrived as scheduled. Found him to be extremely knowledgeable, efficient, quick, and neat. Would highly recommend him, as I am new to the area and have found it extremely difficult to find someone as competent and versatile as Walfredo. I would rate him as A+.

Walfredo, Can't say enough about his integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism. He is quick to respond, detailed to perfection and will go beyond what is expected of him to the completion of a job. He is resilient and creative in resolving a complicated task and does it with great ease. It is difficult to find someone with his business ethics and workmanship. I highly recommend Walfredo, for any job big or small.

He cut the small area out on each side of the wood and put in some PVC in place of it. He used about maybe 6 inches of PVC on each side and put some chaugh on each side that was it. Took him about 1 hour. I thought he was going to replace the whole pieces of trim wood. I really feel like he is a rip off, it was not any place near what the price is worth the amount of work and material. I should have never let him do it and tried to find some honest handyman not one that take advantage of Seniors. It is against the law in Florida for people to do that. He didn't even paint the trim.

It went great. The guy was punctual, worked around my schedule, gave fair and accurate estimates, and did great work. I've hired him several times and will definitely continue to do so.

Walfredo was professional and thorough in every way. He provided a detailed estimate. Showed up for the estimate and the job right on time three days. He and Jane were careful with their work and made sure I was satisfied with each job they completed.

Excellent work was completed with multiple projects. Very detailed and professional. The pet enclosure came in parts to be put together but needed some creative carpentry to secure it to the ground and home. He took his time and made it look great exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will be using him again.

Walfredo and his wife Jane were amazing. They arrived on time, worked diligently for 2 days and fixed everything we asked for. They had no problems with our dogs which was a relief. No need to ever look for a handyman again Walfredo does exceptional work!

I'm a new resident to this area and the property I bought is in need of a lot of repairs. The contractor I initially hired hurt himself and would be out of work for several weeks. I needed a screen door installed quickly before I returned North so I searched Angie's List for a reliable contractor, What moved me towards hiring Handyman the Fix-it was the amount of positive feedback he received. Also being highly rated by Angie's List didn't hurt either. Walfredo and his wife Jane arrived at the agreed upon time. He went to work right away and worked diligently for almost three hours installing my door. I didn't realize how misaligned the frame was but Walfredo labored over all obstacles to provide a screen door that was level and aligned. He also drew a lot of attention from my neighbors who requested his card for their own projects. I would without hesitation use Walfredo and Jane again for any project they are able to complete.

Things went terribly. He (and his wife) arrived about 15 minutes earlier than the already early morning appointment time. She was very personable, talked to me a lot, a lot, and also chatted on her phone. He worked quietly, did not have the tools he needed, which sent me digging through what tools I have on hand to try to help him. Then he asked for paint! I had no paint! Somehow they managed to come up with paint, maybe from his truck? He also convinced to me to move the closet ceiling light over to one side due to my stacking washer/dryer being on the other side. This was totally unnecessary, and my mistake to agree to it. End result: the shelf was removed, leaving definite imprints of damage on the back wall, which he just painted over. The metal runner on the floor was removed, and I myself had the matching threshold piece to cover that damage, so that looks fine. The metal runner on the top of the doorway opening is a mess. There is a very visible outline where the runner was removed, and again, he just slapped some paint over that and called it done. The worst of all was my shock over the ceiling light! There is a hole in my ceiling with wires tucked up into it where the light used to be! A hole! I tell him he needs to finish off the ceiling so there is no damage, and he tells me he cannot! He says that best that can happen is to put a plastic or metal plate over it to cover the hole! I ask him to do that, at least! Well, he doesn't have that...tells me I have to go shopping and do it myself! I contacted him by the email he provided expressing my displeasure. I wanted to give him an opportunity to reach out and try to fix the problems. I never received a response. Although I thought the price was good for the job I was requesting, I wish I had paid nothing for what I actually got, which is mostly a mess!

Walfredo and his wife seem to be very nice people, and I am disappointed to give less than A's in my review. When I showed him the job, I clearly explained in detail that I wanted "a professional finish" to the modifications. He assured me yes, he would do that The job he did is decent, but it looks like a nice patch job rather than the professional finish I requested. He did not come prepared with the paint and some other tools he needed. Most of all, I am upset with the ceiling. I regret allowing him to convince me to move the ceiling light over about a foot. He left the original junction box and capped wires in the ceiling. It looks horrible. I asked him to remove it and repair the ceiling, but he said no to that and told me I myself could buy a plastic cap to cover it. Lastly, I sent an email to him explaining my dissatisfaction. I waited several days before writing this review, but he did not take any initiative to respond or offer to make things right. What he did was mostly just an okay job. He is soft-spoken, courteous, and I was comfortable having him in my home. Review written regretfully... wish I could have given A's to this nice couple.

GREAT! Walfredo and Jane are so kind and do great work at very fair prices. I called, they came and quoted that day and did the work a few days later. When they came, I asked if they could do three additional repairs and they did. Their work is high quality, not rushed, but by no means slow. On a side note, they were very tender to my children and dog. Please consider hiring them.

As always, the job went PERFECT. Walfredo is fast, accurate and neat with every job he has done for me. A total professional in all jobs he does. He just KNOWS how to fix things and always gets it right.

The job was beautifully completed...everyone who comes in my home ohhs and ahhs over it as it is a big successful difference. Everyone said it couldn't be done This is the second time I have used Walfredo. He has demo'ed,done electrical work,installed lighting and now painted. He can do anything. He cleans up and his prices are fair. He is a delightful man....I offered to make lunch for him but he brings his own, I offered him something to drink..water, coffee, coke. A polite ,no thank you, I bring my own. Very professional. I will use him forever!
