Handy Andy Plumbing

I called them back because its not working very well and unhappy with the follow up. He basically could not stand behind his work and he will charge me for the rework.

Sunday night I opened the door to the garage only to discover the floor covered in water. After draining the heater and killing the water and gas I retired for the evening. The following morning I called Andy. I have used him on a couple of previous occasions and have always been satisfied. Andy came out to the house within an hour of my calling. He confirmed that the water heater would need replacing. We discussed various sizes of gas water heaters he would recommend. After agreeing on a particular brand Andy left to pick up the water heater. Andy returned a little later with the new heater and installed it. Andy not only completed the job in a timely manner on budget but gave me detailed instructions on the proper care and maintenance. I cannot say enough positive about my experience with Handy Andy Plumbing.,

I was quoted one price based off possible attic entrance and nearly doubled the price but HE NEVER WENT INTO THE ATTIC. Purchased the cheapest tub and wall surround. Tub did not fit properly. 2 inch gap. Created a make shift fix with trim, instead of returning wrong tub and purchasing correct size. Only thing holding it down was chaulk. Would not show up due to rain. Still didn't understand that one, bathroom is LOCATED in the house. Gauged on price of additional supplies because he ordered wrong parts. Descent contractor deducts amount of surplus supplies kept HE DID NOT ...would not have need additional supplies if proper parts were purchased. Did not cover up nails in trim. Hands were not clean when chaulk was applied. Tried to convince me its the dark space behind the wall surround. By now I was done w/ him and wanted him out of our house.

Showed up when he said he would and did what he did and was gone. Cleaned up us after himself.

Handy Andy is a wonderful company. We have been calling them for years now & are always pleased with the services. Last Christmas Day, during a family gathering, our system backed up & we had to call Handy Andy s to come out. We had no choice & he was great. He came & did what was needed to get us going again, & we were extremely pleased. He doubled his fee for Christmas day & that was still not a bad price.
