GTZ Air LLC

The air conditioner at my mom’s house was not cooling; the local weather was still hot in mid September. Mom has a Carrier model that was still under warranty. I called Carrier’s 1-800 customer service line to confirm how best to proceed. They provided warranty details, and contact details for three licensed Carrier contractors (one of which was GTZ Air). I started calling contractors after work at 5:45 pm on a Friday, and anticipated that I may not reach anyone. First contractor, no answer. Second contractor (GTZ), David answered and made time to speak with me. When I told him that we were located in Katy, Texas (near his office), he said that he could come look at the air conditioner between 7:00-8:00 pm that same day. David arrived promptly and got to work immediately. After checking the outside part of the air conditioner, he quickly determined that the capacitor had gone bad. He happened to have that spare part in his truck and replaced it for us so that my mom wouldn’t have to wait another day for cool air in her home. David honored my mom’s parts only warranty, so our out-of-pocket cost was very reasonable. He was friendly and professional through our whole interaction, from phone to finish. I’ve added GTZ to my cell phone contacts as my go-to A/C repair company, and will quickly recommend David to others.

Everything was great David Gutierrez the owner came by right on time to get me fixed up with Freon and to do my spring air conditioning check up. I've been using him now for several years and he's just great really nice fellow and does an excellent job at a good price. I highly recommend him is a certified Trane Air Conditioning service technician but does service other brands as well!

David came to me via my Home Warranty service and I was very pleased. I looked him up on Angie's List to see his rating and it was very good. I was very pleased with what he did. He was not able to get to me until late in the day but that did not lessen his professional service. He checked the evaporater coils on the inside and then he checked the outside unit to ensure it was operating properly. I would use him again even without a Home Warranty service call. I will probably end my contract with the Home Warranty. He was polite and professional.

It all went very well. David offered us a very competitive bid for the job. His crew worked late night to get the job done. Looks like good quality workmanship.

I gave David a call while at work and he arranged to meet me at the house after work the same day. First he took a look at the outside unit to identify the problem and filled me in every step of the way. It turned out to be a broken part in the attic unit that needed to be replaced. He told me that in order to disconnect the part he would need to empty the system of freon that would also need to be replaced after the new part was installed. Of course, this made sense and it was nice to know what to expect with the repair. He replaced the part and refilled the system with freon and finally tested the temperature. The A/C was working again!! I have used GTZ once before for my upstairs unit and experienced the very same trusted and superior quality of service. I have highly recommended GTZ to my neighbors and recommend them to you as well.
