Description of Work: Diego Tano and his company Global Deco brought new life to an outdated 1960’s home to meet our needed standards. With our budget and requirements, a turnkey home purchase was out of the question. So started our journey with Global Deco. Diego through the entire process was very professional and honest. He knew what we wanted and helped us plan and budget to meet our needs. Also, Diego’s architect education made planning even more detailed than going with only a contractor or having to find an architect to work with a contractor. Diego was straightforward and honest, which helped make our vision a reality. He advised us on everything from building materials to the fine details and did his best to keep to our budget, and when unforeseen challenges arose, his guidance and experience made the process less stressful and easier to overcome. In the end, the work that he did in the amount of time he had was impressive, to say the least. We are happy that Diego was with us from start to finish and stands by his work! No matter the detail or issue, Diego will work with you to make it right to your standards.

Description of Work: This was a promotion through Angie's List - to do 40 hours of general contracting work for $1,500 - said to be worth $2,500. So a little research turned up the fact that it was indeed a good deal (as long as the work is good of course, and these guys did do a great job). | |My jobs consisted primarily repairing numerous cracks in sheetrock walls, and replacing one ceiling. Also had some fascia boards replaced, a few plumbing jobs, and installation of a BR Vanity. Other than the drywall jobs, Diego (the owner) handled everything else himself during the first 8 of those 40 hours. | |The only issues I had, which I did not hold against him - as I chalked it up to a learning experience, was that I had to obtain all of the supplies myself, and be available because additional supplies were needed. Also, when the 40 hours were done, I saw that maybe 2 additional hours would be needed, Diego still gave me a good hourly rate, but due to travel distance he could not send someone for just 2 hours of work. I let him know that 8 hours would be OK, as I had some additional small jobs to throw into the mix. For whatever reason, I got no response. So, moving on... | |Summary though: Prompt, friendly, courteous, excellent work from him and his employees. They cleaned up including vacuuming. Although they did not haul anything away such as lumber & ceiling tiles.

Description of Work: Purchased this deal to get wallpaper removed in my hall bathroom, and prep the walls for painting. They got most of it off in one day and they provided an estimate to get the rest of it done, but I can't seem to get them to come back and finish the job (which is 1 more day of work). I'm pretty disappointed at this point. I need this project to be finished and they don't seem interested. I rated them a B for quality due to the work that has already been done.

Description of Work: The work is done and I was very happy with it. The guy didn't speak English very well but he was up front about it so it wasn't a problem.

Description of Work: The work was to fix a spot in the ceiling where the A/C had leaked from the overflow. Although the work was delayed multiple times because of my schedule and theirs, the work was completed to my satisfaction on January 23, 2016. The crew was fast, personal and they cleaned up before they left. They charged the agreed amount. I would recommend them for similar work.

Description of Work: Global Deco painted the walls of my new kitchen.

Description of Work: Touch up painting, caulking, and patching small holes in drywall.

Description of Work: Replaced trim and garage door and windows in the back of the house. caulked and painted.

Description of Work: Interior painting. Build out a new pantry. Installed drawer and cabinet pulls to kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Moved rods and shelving in master closet 12" higher and install new racks below. Installed 7 ceiling fans and a few additional jobs.

Description of Work: repaired, resurfaced and repainted waterdamage in ceiling; concealed holes in walls and baseboards from babygates; exchanged sweep on front door

Description of Work: They grouted a bathroom for me. Adjusted light fixtures that were not hanging from the ceiling correctly. Installed a door plate at one of the entry doors. Did paint work in the bathrooms.

Description of Work: Global Deco came out and replaced a sheetrock ceiling and installed security cameras.

Description of Work: Laundry room renovation. The owner was very pleasant and did a good job for us.

Description of Work: They did many different things in our house. They replaced a tile, re-caulked the toilets, fixed the ceiling that had a leak, painted 4 walls, stripped and repainted around windows in the front of the house, and patch misc. sheetrock.

Description of Work: Paint complete house interior, retouch hand rail window frames, and repair walks including texturing.

Description of Work: Diego was hired to design and remodel the offices at the factory where I work. Construction of sheet rock walls, placement of doors, windows, ceilings, lamps, rugs, ceramics, wallpaper, bathroom fixtures, paint and color selection and furniture.

Description of Work: He helped me remodel my bathroom by installing wallpaper, lighting and fixtures. He also recommended colors and painted my bathroom.

Description of Work: Refinished Kitchen cabinets, retextured Bedroom (2 walls) and full bathroom as the wallpaper was removed, painted Master Bedroom, Bath, closet, Kitchen ceiling, Pantry, several doors around the house, painted large study with bookshelves inside and out, misc repair. We are preparing house for sale, so a lot of small repairs.
