We were thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service we received. Despite the considerable distance from Katy, TX to our location in Houston, Eddie's Heating & Air Conditioning made the journey without hesitation. Upon arrival, Service Manager Erik Sanchez greeted us warmly and professionally, immediately putting us at ease. Erik demonstrated exceptional attentiveness as we explained the issue with our unit, and he was well-prepared to tackle the task at hand. Despite our initial concerns about potential upselling or price gouging, Erik proved to be refreshingly transparent and honest. He accurately diagnosed the specific problem, provided valuable maintenance tips, and efficiently resolved the issue without attempting to upsell unnecessary services. After obtaining multiple bids over the past 5 yrs, I was pleasantly surprised by GreenLeaf. My HVAC system was approx. 17 or 18 yrs old and I knew my days were numbered with it. From estimate to install, the entire team was professional and knew their stuff. I had a new 3 ton, 17 SEER Trane system installed yesterday. They arrived around 8:30am and were done before 1pm. Fully tested and ready to roll! I'm so glad I found this company and went with them!

Eddie and his staff, put it in in a day and it's fantastic. City of Austin was funky about their inspection and energy rebates. Green Leaf stepped up to the plate and made it right. I have no complaints and appreciate the services provided. You'll appreciate them too, they're the real deal.

I was more than disappointed with the service I received from Green Leaf. I had them come out not because my system wasn't working (it was cooling just fine) but because we had noticed a leak into the pan under the A/C when up in the attic to exterminate. We assumed our drain line was clogged. Their technician came out and DISABLED the system, did not unclog the line and left us high and dry without any air!!! After looking at the system for about 10 minutes their technician said that I needed major repairs in order to get it running again. Then I got two estimates by email from them - one for over 3K and the other for over 6k! This didn't make any sense to me since the A/C had been working just fine so the next day I had another company came out for a 2nd opinion and for 550$ they enabled the system (that the Green Leaf has disabled), unclogged the drip line (which indeed had been clogged) and recharged it with freon because it was low and got it up and running. No leaking! I was completely misled by the Green Leaf technician (he made me believe that I would have to spend between 3-6k to fix the problem which was obviously not true) - and not only that, he left me in a worse situation than when he originally came out (no air at all with a completely disabled system and only 1 choice -- "pay the money we say you need to pay or no air for you lady!!!!" ). They of course charged me $98 for this "service". When I contacted Green Leaf for an explanation they initially ignored my request. When I contacted them again they defended their technician. As far as I'm concerned, telling a client that they need to make 3-6K worth of repairs when your system can be fixed for $550 is wrongful deception intended to result in financial gain - which by definition is fraud. Obviously I would not recommend them.

[Member Name Removed], Sorry about your experience. We strive to provide the best services to our customers. We went to your call with the experience of your secondary drain pan being full of water. That is in fact true. The fact that you have a refrigerant leak in your system is also a fact. Your evaporator coil is rusted and leaking refrigerant thus causing the unit to freeze up and leak into your drain pan. State and EPA rules state that the refrigerant leak must be repaired before charging the unit back up with the refrigerant. What the other company provided was not only illegal and unethical but that it is still not fixed and the cost of 600 dollars you just invested in. A simple "band-aid" is not the solution to a repair. This repair you obtained in October is probably going to need refrigerant now or by this summer. Refrigerant just doesn't go away or need charging. It's because you simply have a refrigerant LEAK.

We couldn't be happier with the service and product of the Green Leaf team. The owner Eddie came out, listened to our concerns, accessed our situation, gave us several recommendations and options to consider. He also looked for the best rebates available from different manufacturing companies & sources to save us money. This team was professional, polite, neat, conscientious, skilled and their expertise was appreciated. Our new 5 ton Lennox A/C is so quiet and with the humidity control we can keep our temperature set higher yet it feels cooler. After a week of researching brands and talking to several A/C companies we are very thankful and happy that we decided to go with Green Leaf A/C and Heating! I feel like we've found our A/C team for all our A/C needs in the future and in Texas you need a good A/C company you can trust & depend on for support. Highly recommend them.

They came on Saturday replace capacitor in one unit and added refrigerant to both. They came back on Monday and did leak checks on both units,found no leaks and didnt charge me.

This company has done several jobs for me. I initially hired them with an online coupon and they found that the original contractor had left a cap off my A/C unit which had caused water to splatter and mold to accumulate. My allergies have been much better since that was cleaned up. They have done my seasonal checks since then and have also repaired my unit. Eddie even sent someone out at 6:00 p.m. on day when my A/C went out just before I had to have a medical procedure the next day. Recently, I recommended them to my daughter after another company told her she needed a totally new unit which they wanted to sell her. Instead, she called Green Leaf and they completed a VERY complicated repair and the unit is running just fine. The charges were less than $500.00. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ENOUGH. THEY ARE AWESOME!

Green Leaf : A/C and Heating was recommended to me by my neighbor for service he received this past winter on his furnace. Eddie was a pleasure to work with... very professional and truthful (no BS). Eddie has worked from the ground up in the business and now runs his own business. He is very knowledgeable and knows the limitations and possibilities of your home systems. The quote for service was fair and less then other quotes I had received from other local providers. Scheduling the installation was quick and easy. The installation team was on time and completed the installation in a timely manner. The system was checked for correct functionality and the new thermostat was gone over with the technician. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Eddie and his company for any A/C and Heating service.
Description of Work: They removed the old condenser and coil, flushed the copper lines. Installed a new Carrier 14 SEER Condenser and Coil. Added a 4" Media filter to the attic unit. Added a Carrier Cor Smart Thermostat.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2014, Eddie Hinojosa with Green Leaf AC & Heating came to my house to inspect my AC unit that was blowing warm air. He said I needed a new coil and verbally quoted $1,200. We scheduled service on Thursday, September 4. Two workers arrived and removed the old coil and installed a new. After the work was completed, one of the workers told me the cost was $1,800. I did not pay then saying I needed to speak with Eddie first. We agreed to meet in the middle at $1,500. On Friday, September 5, I noticed water pouring through the ceiling under the AC unit Green Leaf had just repaired. In inspecting the attic, in found water rapidly dripping from a PVC pipe next to the AC unit. The PVC was wrapped in silver tape. I cleaned up the water that was dripping onto my wood floors to mitigate any further damage and called Eddie. He came to my home that evening, inspected the damage to my ceiling and inside the attic and insisted it was not his fault. I explained that his workers were the last people to touch my AC system and asked that he have it repaired. He became angry, irate and threatening. Fearing for my safety, I called Round Rock Police Department, who came to the scene and suggested I dial 911 if he came back. On Monday, September 8, I received a receipt for the work done on the 4th, but it was dated September 6th. I called the Green Leaf office number to get the name of Eddie?s insurance company. In speaking with Diana, the accounts of the Friday night attack by Eddie were corroborated by both Eddie and his workers. She told me they do not do a 100% assessment on an AC unit and they diagnose AC issues over the phone. This leads me to believe he was going to sell me a coil before even seeing my system. I also learned that Eddie was not willing to disclose his insurance company name to me; he would only give that information to a representative of my insurance company. A representative from my insurance company, Ryan Hatcher with Liberty Mutual, spoke with Eddie by phone on Tuesday, September 9 to obtain the name of his insurance company as promised. Ryan conveyed to me that Eddie became rude and irate with him and refused to divulge the name of his insurance company. Eddie Hinojosa, owner of Green Leaf AC & Heating, came to my house and instructed work to be done by his men that was diagnosed over the phone. In the process of repair, shoddy work was done which caused water damage to my home. After filing with the TDLR, I received insurance information and filed a claim, but Eddie Hinojosa has disputed the claim.

I want to start by saying sorry you feel that way and that we strive to provide the best possible service as possible to our customers. All customers who rate our reviews can vouch for that. Yes, I know every now and then we come across problems that need addressing and we take care of them to the best of our abilities. If it's a problem on our end, we take care of that. As far as your bid we provided for you, that agreement we had was for 1800.00 on a new complete coil replacement which is very competetive in the industry for a replacement. You have stated it was 1200.00 which was not true and decided to agree for 1500.00 on a settlement. That in fact is true. I'm not sure what your talking about with a " Diagnosed over the phone"? I went to your home, showed you the problem, and given you an upfront price it would cost right then and there. With the agreement of the repair to get done and you agreed. For the leak, yes. In fact there was a leak from your ceiling. Your friend called, said there was a leak, and went to your home right away to see what happened. I even had my assistant there to see what happened. There was old tape holding the drain line together that was 3 ft from the coil that was buried from tile and other large boxes that was covering and sitting on top of the drain line. In my professional opinion, the ceiling would have leaked within hours of the install especially with the house being hot. You called 36 hours after the install. As far the screaming and cussing, We are a professional company and i set forth an example to all our staff. This is the first I hear of this. I would definitively agree to say it was not my fault and I will continue to do so. I agreed to even pay to have the ceiling fixed even though it wasn't our fault. You refused our service to correct something that wasn't our fault and referred to the fix it guy as he's probably a "Mexican who you would send" in which you told my office staff. She didn't respond to your comment but said ok. I find that offensive considering I am Hispanic. Race shouldn't have been an issue in this manner. I'm sorry again for your manner in this and wish we came to a conclusion on this. Good luck to you.

Our 20+ year old A/C unit stopped working Monday afternoon, "conveniently" after a lot of A/C places had closed up for the day. After asking my friends for referrals we received a glowing recommendation for Green Leaf. Eddie advised us he'd be at our home between 12pm-2pm. He arrived 15 minutes before 2pm, so it was nice that he was true to his word! We thought our A/C was kaput, so we started off with asking for estimates. We had been quoted by another A/C company recently, so it was refreshing to hear MUCH better pricing, about $3,000 difference. Woof. While talking we asked if he wouldn't mind checking out the existing unit, just in case it needed a repair and wasn't quite down and out yet. Within about 20 minutes Eddie identified the problem as a busted capacitor and completed the repair within the half hour. Huzzah! Super affordable pricing and he advised us not to replace our A/C system yet, saying we could probably get another year out of it! Talk about a relief! We're going to be working with him soon as it cools off so we can get some duct work done.

Outstanding service by Eddie. Upon arrival I provided symptoms and he immediately knew what the suspected problem was and nailed the problem on the head. Had it back on line within 15-20 minutes (time it took to connect and pump in the freon). Will be calling upon GreenLeaf again if needed. This is the second property they have repaired for me and I intend to do service maintenance contract for both locations.

My air condition unit was leaking water, I was very concern that I will have to replace the unit ,after doing some research on Angies list I decided to pick Greenleaf conditioning,which turned out to be an excellent choice, the most amazing young man I have ever come across, just when I was thinking that there were no more good and ethical people out there any more I was fortunate to find Eddie, he was prompt, professional and experience, he assessed the problem with the unit within 15 minutes. The Service was excellent. I had a problem with my Air Conditioner over the weekend and needed someone right away. I did my research on another review site and the checked Angieslist. The company had excellent reviews and decided to call. Eddie came over right away and gave me a few options. I decided to go ahead and replace my system. The guys had great service from start to finish and love my new air conditioning system. I got a few others bids that was slightly lower but Eddie passed as a great and educator in the field. I highly recommend them for sure.

I wish that there was some setting above "Excellent" that I could choose for Eddie. This guy -- let me tell you about this guy. I called Eddie at 6pm on Saturday on Labor Day weekend and told him that our A/C wasn't working. He offered to come out for a service call for free after hours. He advised replacing our system, but made sure to explain everything that was going on and showed us how we could tell what was going wrong. To help us keep cool in the Texas summer, he manually pumped freon into our system to keep us taken care of over the weekend. Here's where it gets even more awesome. We had a houseguest over, and the next evening Eddie gave us a call to check in and see how the freon was holding up. Awesome, right? Well, Eddie also worked directly with the financing company to try and get us a loan to cover the unit. When that didn't work out he managed to do a temporary repair for us. Not only that, but he knew that we were running on a tight budget. Rather than let us sweat it out, he insisted on taking care of the repair first and sending us an invoice after he was done. Eddie is personable, professional, and an absolute godsend. The only bad thing about this job is that I'll now hold any other service professional up to his standard, and they're pretty much sure to fall short of the mark.
