Description of Work: My Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator was making a "funny" noise last night so, with the holidays next week, I went online to schedule a repair call with the service I usually use and found that the earliest appointment would be late next week. I found Danny's Appliance Repair and emailed them to try to schedule an appointment and gave a brief description of the problem. They called me back about 30 minutes after I sent the email (around 9:30 last night) to schedule a service call for this morning. The technician arrived on schedule, quickly assessed the problem, gave a solution and the price. We OK'd the work (replaced freezer fan motor) which was done quickly and efficiently and everything was put back in place and cleaned up. Since I have a broken foot and have trouble moving around, I really appreciated his attention to detail. We are very happy with the professionalism and will definitely use for future needs.

+ -1 moreThis is the real surprise. He came in and replaced the freezer mother board at $400.00 and said that would take care of the problem. It didn't. Then he came back and said the ice maker needed replacing and we paid an additional $400.00. That didn't solve the problem either. When we tried to call him back and voice our displesure, he would not return our phone calls. This was a series of many phone calls over a three week period. We then sent a certified letter to the address of his business and that was returned undeliverable. This guy is a con man and can't be trusted to ensure your best interest. We spent $800.00 dollars for repairs on a refridgerator that still has the same problems. That would have been a 1/2 to 1/3 of the price to replace the unit. Buyer Beware!
Description of Work: We have a LG Refrigerator and the ice maker was freezing up and freezing the fridge's computer. He said we need to change out the freezer mother board and the ice maker later. We had used Alex before for repairs at another home and had no trouble. We had always paid him generously for the work.
