Steve was very prompt in coming out and inspecting our roof. He gave us a quote but said that he would not be able to do our repairs that day as it was raining but he said that he would come right out as soon as it stopped. My husband and I were very worried because it had been raining very hard off and on and it did not seem like it was going to stop any time soon. Also, because there were missing shingles, it had started to leak into the main bathroom. True to his word, Steve and his crew came promptly out as soon as there was a reprieve from the rain and repaired our roof. We haven't had any problems since! His company is very price reasonable and very professional and I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends.

Workers showed up on time and successfully completed the necessary work by the end of the day. 100% satisfied with the roof.

When owner Steve Furber came out to give me a quote on new siding and paint on my home. I had concerns about installation and quality of work. Because a few years prior I had one side of my home redone with Hardie Board and it was not installed very well and signs of wear were already showing just three years later. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and assured me that his crew chief is a perfectionist when it comes to siding, and I had nothing to worry about. And he was NOT kidding. They did a beautiful job, even having to re-build part of my chimney because of rotten wood found underneath the old siding as it was removed. I couldn?t be happier, my 30 year old home looks new again! Colony roofing?s crew were real professionals from start to finish. Steve is the real deal, he runs a company that delivers on their promises. I highly recommend them if you need any exterior work on your home.

Steve Furber provided straight-forward information on his services and the roofing he would install with no annoying sales pitch. He also pointed out some weather damage that merited a review by my insurance company, assisted with review by the adjuster and filed his final invoice with the insurance company, which resulted in partial relief on the total bill. His team showed up when promised, completed the work in 2-1/2 days, including complete cleaning of the yard. After 2 weeks, there are no problems, a couple of annoying previous leaks are gone at last and the house looks great. I would certainly recommend Steve Furber and Colony Roofing to anyone needing roof repairs.

It went great. They fit me into a tight schedule, did the job in one day and left my property clean.

I had used Colony roofing to replace my roof after Hurricane Ike in 2008 after a recomendation from a coworker. They were very responsive then despite everyone in Houston hiring roofers and ultimately did a good job. Shortly before the warranty was up on the roof, I had Steve come back and check on a leak. He resealed some loose shingles free of charge and let me know it could be the rotting siding on the chimney causing the problem. He informed me his company also does siding at that time. A few months later when I was ready to replace my deteriorating masonite, it was a no brainer to call Steve for a quote. I had him quote me for all the siding, trim, and vented soffits on the house, plus new gutters. Since I was replacing facia boards, new drip edge for the roof was also included. Having had a good experience with my roof, I had the work done by him. It took a few weeks to get on the schedule, but once a date was set, they started on time and the work was done professionally. The trim is tedious, so it took over a week to do all the work including paint. The contractor even did a bonus by adding another layer of trim to the inside of the garage door opening to hide that it wasn't square. There was also an issue with the electrical boxes in the back. When I pointed it out to Steve they were missing he asked the crew about them and they admitted that they broke when the old siding was removed. The boxes were replaced at no cost to me. I appreciated that the crew admitted the mistake and it was resolved with no issue. My new lighting was also installed at no extra cost. 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams paint were also included in the price and was also professionally done with no mess. My house almost looked new again after Colony was done. For reference, my house is a 1 story house with siding around the back only (brick front and sides), trim and soffits all the way around, and a chimney.

Repairs were conducted well and without any issues. I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs external house repairs.

STEVE met Charlie for the estimate as arranged. He give two price options one using a credit card and one a cash price. The cash price was a flat amount $8000. The job started one day later than originally arranged but he was in touch with us so we could plan accordingly. The jobs was competed in one day Including clean up and hauling off all materials.

I received bids from several Angie's List A-rated service providers. Colony Roofing 7 Exterioirs gave me the lowest bid. When obtaining bids, Colony Roofing owner, Steve Furber, came on time for his appointment, explained his proposed services very well and stayed in touch while the work was in progress. The roofing crew did a good job in trying to keep the area clean while working, and cleaned up the outside well upon completion of the project. They also did a good job of not amaging any of the plants surrounding the house. Additionally, the screens covering the gutters were lft mostly in good shape. However, some trash from the old roof did plug up one of the downspouts preventing the gutters on one side of the house from draing rain water properly, thus overly out of the gutters. But, it only took me about an hour to clear out the down spout for it to drain properly. There was a bit more trash fom the old roof left in the aic than I would have liked. I would rcommend future customers to have the contractor cover the attic with plastic to facilitate cleaning at the end of the job. At the end of the project, Steve Furber, the company owner, went into the attic to inspect for proper installation the vents, but said nothing about the trash left in the attic--a little disappointing. However, overall, they did a very good job.

The owner was amazing. He came to do the quote, got the crew going and then came back to inspect what they did before I paid him. The crew was polite and did a good job. My only complaint was that they had thrown down their trash and one side of the house and forgot to take it with them when they left. Just glad my son saw it, since it landed in the neighbors yard! I told the owner what happened and he apologized and said that he would talk to the crew about it. I had two quotes for this job and Colony Roofing was the best quote given. I willl definately be using them again in the future and would recommend them to my friends.

I had the roof replaced back in 2002 by Colony. Last heavy rain I went into the attic and noticed a small leak. I called Steve and he came out to look at it. Since it had been so long I actually expected to be charged for fixing the leak. However, Steve said it woudl be no charge and took care of it within a few days. The leak is fixed. Evidently they really stand behind their work. Very happy with their service.

Looks fine. Have not had rain yet to check for leaks though. Job was done on time and clean up was 100%

I called Steve and he came by the same day (in the evening) and inspected the roof and sealed a couple of nails related to an attic vent flashing. It was a very pleasant experience throughout (call promptness, responsiveness, thorough inspection, customer interaction, and reliability). I will not hesitate to call Steve again as his business has earned my trust and respect.

I went through three different roofing companies that kept saying they would show up and would not, or they would say I needed a new roof, etc. I finally reached out to Steve and he was honest from start to finish about everything. Prior to starting the work, the owner, Steve Furber, spent considerable time at the house, scoping the work and discussing various replacement options. Compared with other contractors that we talked with, he was very knowledgeable and at no time did we ever feel that we were just getting the standard sales pitch. The work was promptly scheduled, and then re-scheduled at the last minute, at our request , with no fuss, when we became perhaps overly concerned with the weather forecast. The work required 3 days to complete, as planned, due to the relatively complicated profile of our roof. Each day, the 8+ man crew arrived at 0700 hrs and continued working until 2000 hrs. The crew was extremely professional, with minimal impact to our normal daily routines, other than the obvious noise. They were happy to answer questions, including suggestions for managing squirrels. They did an excellent job of covering our pool and garden and at the end of the job, we found very little evidence that they had ever been there, other than the nice new roof. I would highly recommend this company. The roof was closely inspected and I was shown information on the proposed materials and color selections before I hired this company. Steve is an experienced and knowlegable person, and knew what roof ventilation was most appropriate for the house. He was very helpful and patient while I refininced the house to pay for the work! All emails and phone calls were promptly answered, the work was done on time and the clean up was great. The house looks really good and I am pleased with everything. I am so happy to have selected such a trustworthy company. The quality of materials and installation is excellent, the new roof has a long warranty so everything is great.

Arrived on time. Cut 2 holes in roof and installed 2 power vents (elec. not hooked up). Was very informative and cleaned up after they were done. Very fast and efficient and knowledgeable about their jobs. Would definitely use their services again.

They inspected the premises before quoting the price. They answered questions satisfactorily (Steve). Workers were on time and courteous. Work was done in the agreed time frame.

Steve Furber is knowledgeable about the work and gave me very complete answers to my questions on the job scope.. He returned the same day with the cost estimates and provided two houses I could visit to see the same style of siding. The three man crew, started the next Monday after the cost estimate. The total project was done in a week. I was very pleased with the crew. The three man crew arrived promptly at 8:30 each morning and worked very full days. They picked up the job site every day and cleaned up extremely well at the end of the job. The work looks great!

Inspected the roof on 4/4/2014 and advised repair was possible on 4/5/2014. Called on morning of 4/5 to advise they would be on site by 9:30am. Arrived on time and completed repairs before noon. Observed workers were careful and talented.
