Budget Blinds of Katy & Sugar Land

While remodelling 5,000 sq feet we did all new window coverings including some very wide drapery, an upholstered cornice, a pirouette, interior shutters, etc.. Owner Doug and drapery designer Rene were GREAT to work with, easy to reach and steered us down the right path. Their installers were careful, and the materials and finished product is very high quality. Took a chunk of our remodel budget but we would do it again, no question. The window coverings completely transformed the feel of the house. Thank-you Doug and Rene!

The work was done on time and very professional. They said it would take 6 weeks for the shutters and they were ready in 6 weeks as promised. Install was less than an hour.

Excellent.Sales rep very nice and spent about 1.5 hours in the selection process.Very little "wait time" between order and installation. Installer was very nice and paid attention to cleanliness of job.

Love my wooden Plantation Shutters!!! They are absolutely gorgeous! From the time Budget Blinds came to my house to give a quote, measured, and installed - it was a great experience. They were professional, courteous, on time, and below their competitors pricing. We have large arched windows that needed to have the perfect fit, these are! Wish I would have had them custom make and install the plantation shutters sooner. We love them!!! Definitely recommending Budget Blinds to my friends and clients! Thank you Doug and Loree Brazil!! The shutters are beautiful and they are a great investment in my home.

I felt that the consulting meeting went smooth and the price range was as expected compared to most custom window treatment businesses. The install of both the shades and shutters was very quick and professional. The only disappointment is that the shades feel somewhat cheap and a little tedious at times, raising and lowering. It's probably our fault as much as anyone's to not research this product but we wish that we had gone with blinds in hindsight. At some point in the future we will most likely replace the shades with blinds or something more upscale but for now the shades were definitely the economical route. We LOVE the plantation shutters, they have added so much value to our home. Overall we would definitely recommend Budget Blinds of Katy as they did a great job!

The shutters were satisfactory - but the glue they used on the windowsills discolored - had to repaint over it.

Met with Doug for the quote who was professional and patient during the process of picking colors. The installer was on-time, was friendly, did the job right and quickly. I would use them again.

They did a good job. They went through the whole house and installed whatever type of window treatment was appropriate for each particular room. I think they did an amazing job.
