The provider put a used part in. I had to call another company to correct the problem.

I had a very good experience dealing with Brandt Electrical. Project manager Mike Kelly couldn't have been more helpful in seeing that this job was done in a timely manner and I was pleased with the result. I would definitely use Brandt Electrical for any future electrical jobs.

All electricity in garage went out., including power to two freezers and a backup refridgerator. Found a tripped circuit breaker that wouldn't reset even when all draw was removed from the circuit. Wasn't about to try to replace a blown breaker at 11PM on a Sunday nite, so ran extension cords to freezers and called Brandt first thing Monday morning. They came right out, tested all the wires and determined the breaker was bad. Cleaned to box out, tested everything and got everything running again.

The electrician was timely when showing up for the estimate appointment and was very thorough. He walked me through what outlet locations would best suit our needs and explained the benefit of adding a new breaker instead of just adding another outlet and over-loading the existing breaker. Work was completed much quicker than I expected and the employee took care of any messes made from the projects. Estimate and actual cost aligned. No surprises after the work was completed.

I smelled a burning odor in my house and had smelled it several times before. I decided to call Brandt Electrical Services to get everything checked in order to avoid a possible fire. The Technician arrived almost thrity minutes after I had called because I had defined my request as an emergency since I was afraid of a possible fire smoldering somewhere. The Tech, Jose, went up into the attic to check for any smoldering wiring or smell of burning. He didn't find anything our of order up there. Then, he went out to the garage to check on the breaker panel and didn't find anything out order there either. He did find that a GFI in the garage was flipped, and he reset it. I also checked on the two GFI sockets inside my house and reset them. At that point, he check the outside sockets again and found that they were now and quot;hotand quot; and functioning. Then, he climbed up on a ladder and removed the plastic covers from the three fluorescent light fixtures which had been flickering in order to check on the light bulbs and the ballasts. He removed the light bulbs from two of the light fixtures and that revealed that the ballast of the middle fixture was bad and emitting the burning odor which I had been smelling in the house. He fortunately had a hew ballast in his truck, so he retrieved it and installed the new ballast in the affected light fixture. That did the trick, as the fluorescent light fixtures stopped flickering and produced a steady light. He then replaced all the light bulbs and the covers. He was probably at my house working on these repairs for approximately an hour.

The young man that was here was very professional, very courteous, and got me totally informed with what was taking place. A situation occurred where they had to come back a couple of weeks later but they did it under warranty. It was a perfect job. They removed the wires and cleaned up behind themselves. They pulled the wires without a lot of disturbance. The lights are still working.

I called Brandt Electrical Services, Inc. because it listed very good reviews on Angie's List, and the company is located very near to my house. The service technician arrived within the appointment window, and after listening carefully to my description of what was wrong, he set to work immediately. I told him that the ceiling lights in several rooms on the second floor of my house had suddenly gone off about ten days ago. He first went outside to check the electrical panel located in the garage to make sure none of the breakers were flipped. Next, he checked each and every light switch and electrical outlet in each affected room to see which ones had power and which ones didn't. He then went outside again to the electrical panel in the garage and flipped each breaker to each part of the house, again checking on the connections between the breakers and the wiring in each room. Then, he went up into the attic and inspected all the wiring. He found that some of the original wiring done by Perry Homes who had built my house in 1995 had begun to come loose and were also somewhat inefficiently wired. ( My home had been a model home, and this often means that the house is built very quickly in order to get buyers into the neighborhood to look at properties. Sometimes, this can cause shoddy work.) Once he located which of the loose wiring was affecting the lighting in five of my second floor rooms, he created reconnections and this repaired all the lighting problems. The service technician named Gus was very polite and worked diligently to solve my lighting problems. He arrived about 3:45PM, but he worked past 5:00 until he had fixed every electrical issue with the wiring. Despite the fact that Gus was working in 130 degree heat in the attic, he never complained although he did understandably request a glass of ice water during his work period. I would definitely recommend Brandt Electrical Services, Inc. to anyone needing electrical repairs or electrical installation. I wish Brandt Electrical Services, Inc. had a branch in the small town of La Grange located 70 miles from Katy where I have another house because it is so difficult to get electrical service providers there. I consider Brandt Electrical Services, Inc. to be outstanding in their work.

They dug a narrow trench 20 inches deep and 40 feet long, placed 2and quot; PVC conduit in the trench, and inserted the electrical wires in the conduit. I was concerned about food in the refrigerator/freezer since I was without power during that time, but the job was completed in 8 hours. Centerpoint didn't reconnect the power until 4 hours later, but Brandt had no control over that. The 2 men on the job were professional, cordial, and careful not to mess up my yard any more than necessary.
