+ 1 moreOnce again Brad’s Plumbing is awesome. My hot water heaters were 16 years old and leaking. I got estimates from 3 companies. Brad’s was the only estimate that didn’t seem like just a salesman here trying to make money. The other 2 just wouldn’t stop talking about about things I didn’t want, or things that were irrelevant to the estimate I needed. Brad’s was honest and cheaper for better water heaters. The installation was great, on budget and on time. Brad’s is the best.

They quickly diagnosed the problem and have the materials on hand to make the necessary repairs. I found their prices to be very reasonable for a plumbing service.
Description of Work: I've used Brad's Plumbing Company on two occasions in the last few months. The first time, the pipe from our air conditioner was not flowing into the bathroom drain as designed. The second time, my father had a leak under his sink.

+ -1 moreI called Brad's Plumbing at 9am and left a message about my problem. They called 20 minutes later and said they will be over between 10am and noon. At 10:45 they called and said they will be here in 15 minutes. They came right on time and fixed the problem with a snake. It took less than 10 minutes and fully cleared the clog. I also asked about putting in a user-serviceable P-trap (mine was glued in) and he said they don't recommend that because there is an air conditioner drain attached to the drain pipe which could suddenly start draining water while I had the P-trap off. Instead he recommended a snake like he used except there was a cheaper hand model I could buy at the hardware store that was just as effective. They also applied a $10 off coupon I found on their website.
Description of Work: Drain was clogged. I tried clearing with plunger and also liquid plumber but still wouldn't clear.

+ -1 moreGreat - Brad found the source of the vent blockage (a screen near the vent exit from the house) and removed it. The screening was placed there by the builder to prevent access by birds, etc but with the vent cap in place it was not necessary.

+ -1 moreBrads plumbing people where always on time, neatly dressed and extremely helpful. I need some more plumbing work done and I will call them.
Description of Work: I needed a kitchen faucet replaced, Brads plumbing was called I left a message and description of the problem I was called back within a hour. An appointment was made for the next day, the man that came was on time,he looked at the new faucet,and looked about under the sink. He then told me that he could install the faucet but when it was turned on it would either pull the sink out or bend it in half and he explained that the faucet which had been purchased was an industrial grade faucet, I was told that I needed a new sink,he sent me to a plumbers shop where they were wonderful in helping pick out a new heavier grade steel. Joey ( the man sent out originally by Brad ) he came out two days later at the time specified removed the old sink and faucet even when he needed some wood for a shim asked if I had any wood. Joey went into my garage found what he needed with no fuss, the faucet and sink plus a new garbage disposer. The outcome was not only the functiong faucet but a beautiful new addition to my home.

+ 0 moreThe A/C primary drain hub was clogged. I called Brad and left a message; he called back within an hour and offered to come out the same day. The problem was trickier than anticipated, since the existing hub wasn't configured properly and didn't allow access for cleaning. The plumber cut out the old hub, installed a new hub that will allow ready access in the future, and cleaned the clog. He also took me up into the attic and showed me some maintenance suggestions to keep this from happening again in the future. I found the final price reasonable for the services provided. I'll use them again.

When the plumber came today, the job was much more involved than just a straight forward replacement. The plumber consulted Brad over the phone, and they came up with a solution, and still charged us $225. We have used Brad's Plumbing several times before, and will continue to do so.

+ -1 moreI've used Brad's Plumbing for more than 15 years, and I highly recommend them. This time around, I played a (nasty) April Fool's joke on myself. I put too much stuff down the kitchen disposal and ended up with a clogged drain. Brad's guys came to the rescue. I called them at 8:00 that morning, and they were at my house by 11:00 am. The plumber was prompt, professional, and neat. He had the line snaked and the drain cleared in no time. He also offered a piece of advice -- NO ONIONS, cooked or raw, is to EVER do down the disposal. Sink cleared, lesson learned, and everything back to normal.

+ -1 moreWe had a really good experience with Brad's Plumbing. This started the day before Thanksgiving when our kitchen faucet stopped working in the middle of our holiday prep. Billy came out and got us working (at least temporarily). He advised us that we needed a new faucet and that our disposal had a crack / leak. I felt like he gave us very sound advice regarding what kind of faucet might work, and what kinds of materials we should avoid. After evaluating the costs of replacing these items, we decided to replace the sink as well. It took us a few weeks to decide what we wanted to do, but once we made up our minds, scheduling was a breeze. I felt like we got very good advice from Billy and Brad. We ran into a snag (our fault) with the size of the hole for the sink, but they helped us with that as well. They were patient with us, explained very thoroughly what the process and timeline would be for the repairs, and were timely and professional. We will use again.
Description of Work: Removed old cast iron sink and replaced with single basin stainless steel sink. Replaced faucet and disposal.

+ -1 moreI can't recall the gentleman's name that came out, but he was very professional, nice and easy to talk to. First he checked to see what was going on in the kitchen sink. He listened to what I had to say about what was going on, etc. Then he fixed it all. He had the clog fixed and everything running smoothly again in no time. The thing I liked best about him was that he taught me about kitchen faucets, water pressure and such, while he was working. He was very honest. He could have charged me for work I didn't need, but he didn't. I already took the knowledge he provided me and put it to good use. It is because of this employee's professionalism and honesty that we will be having Brad's Plumbing come back to check on a possible gas leak, and some hot water heater issues. In fact, I really need to call them soon.

+ 0 moreWe wanted to convert our never used wood burning fireplace to gas. We had a gas starter already, but were unable to open the old valve, so it needed replacing. It was located behind a set of built in bookcases. It went smoothly, they were pleasant and professional and competent and cut a minimal size hole in the back of the bookcase. Did not get multiple bids, so I don't know how good their pricing was, but they were in line with my expectations and I have been using this plumber for many years with no problems.

Removed the old valve and installed a new ball valve, which required new connections to both the PVC and brass pipe. The work was professionally done. There were no communication issues. It has been three months, and no problems. I would have them do future plumbing.
Description of Work: Joe with Brad’s Plumbing installed a 1” brass ball valve to replace the 1” brass block value on house water supply.

He is very professional and I was very comfortable dealing with him. Whenever we do get to the point of fixing the shower, I will be calling Brad back.
