 + -1 moreTurned out it was only the charging unit. To confirm, they kept the unit overnight on their charger. Picked up the unit fully charged, and a new charging unit was only $23.80 out the door. I was ready to pay much more, as they have the ability to replace the hardware Apple suggested needed replaced. Great store, great ethics, great customer experience.
Description of Work: My iPad would no longer charge. Calling the Apple store resulted in a suggestion that the battery would need to be replaced ($100) and possibly the cable connection card ($60). And since the iPad was 3 years old, possibly I should just consider getting a new one (this one cost $900). After a web search called Batteries Plus, and at their suggestion brought the system in.
