My AC went out due to a leaking evaporator coil. My system was so old and corroded that I decided it was time to replace it. I took in bids from three highly rated AC companies and Air Tech had the best value. I awarded Air Tech the bid in the late afternoon/early evening. They came out that evening to charge our old AC system to get us through the night. In the morning at 8:30 am the crew began replacing the system. The job was complete, paid, and the house was cooling down by 1 pm. Excellent work at a good price. Also, I appreciated how Steve, with Air Tech, did not try to up-sell me to platinum with highest SEER ratings. He explained to me that my old 100 year old bungalow breathes so I wouldn't really notice the impact of the higher SEER systems. The jump to 14 SEER from my 11 year old system is where I'll notice a big difference.

Technician went to wrong address and did not call either contact phone number. A message was then left on our phone that we were a "no show" for the appointment. This was rectified, and the new appointment went smoothly, with the exception that the technician told our remnant that whoever had done the previous work at the house had done a poor job and that about $2000 of work was needed . Oops! Guess who did the previous work? Air-Tech! We called for an explanation and were told we would get a return call - still waiting. Actually an unusual experience with this company because we have been thrilled with their work in the past, including installation of new heating and air at another property we are rehabbing. Actually, we overall recommend the company highly despite the recent confusion, which we are confident will be resolved appropriately!

The first time the guy came he was very thorough. We had a freon problem but he checked everything. They are not very expensive. They are prompt, economical and thorough. If you call them to fix something, they fix it and then they look around and make sure everything else is working well too.

My house was cold because the HVAC system was not working properly. I called early in tjhe morning and arranged for Joe to come out in a few hours. He called 1/2 hour before arrival to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived promptly on time and re-introduced himself and got right to work. After 20 minutes Joe explained that I needed a new capacitor as the old one had rusted over and stopped working. It was 11 years old so this was not unexpected. He got a new capacitor from his truck after explaining to me the cost and getting the green light to complete the job, which he did. After his repairs, the system worked just fine.This the 2nd time that Joe has worked on my HVAC system, and I was very pleased with his work each time. I plan to employ him in the future for all my HVAC-related needs. Joe has exceeded my expectations each time and has been a pleasure to work with. I wish all my repairmen were as capable and helpful as Joe.

The work was satisfactory, and I was pleased.
