Description of Work: I called Aachen Affordable Brick Restoration to set up a time for them to come to my house to give me an estimate on some brick work. The lady who answered was very nice. An a.m. window was set up for Thu morning of that week, not realizing it was New Year's Day. No one showed up that morning and I received no phone call. So thinking it was partly my fault for not realizing what day it was, I called back on Friday to set up another appt. I had to leave a message on the answering machine. I got no return call.

+ -1 moreJames is hard working and honest-not too common these days. He did a great job with all of it, the mortar color matching-couldn't be happier. There was some previous work done on the house (removed an intercom) where the guys put a dark gray mortar (where the rest of the mortar on the house is beach sand color) it looked awful-now it looks like the original brick job, quite a talent. I will absolutely recommend James to anyone looking for a masonry guy.
Description of Work: We had a small to do list: point masonry....reset corner pop....voids on chimney, nail holes...redo previous repairs to match color....install expansion joint

+ -1 moreHe did a good job but I thought I was a bit overcharged. He just removed a row of bricks at the top of the wall and secured the bricks to the wall to stabilize it. He then re-placed the brick. He did a good job matching the brick.
Description of Work: He repaired a brick wall that wasn’t stable in my home.
