Very reliable and responsive

Called them on 5/25/18 for service. Pool full of algae. They said they would be here at 12:00 on the 26th. Had not heard from them by 1:30 so called to see of they were coming...got answering machine and no one returned the call. Someone came at 3:00 and serviced the pool. Told me they would be back around the 30th or 31st to clean the filter and do some additional work. Heard from no one until June 8th when I got a call to "see how the pool is doing and do they need to come back". I had requested weekly service so I really don't know what they were thinking. I will not use them again.

Friendly and Reliable

I have been happily working with the good folks at A Plus Pools Service for about a year and a half. I found Marc and Melissa after communicating with and receiving quotes from 4 other companies. Their rates are not the cheapest, but they are very competitive, and personally I do not think it is the wisest move to blindly go with the cheapest company. You get what you pay for. What really stands out to me with A Plus is the level of expertise, professionalism, and customer service. I had never owned a pool before moving into my house and Marc thoroughly walked me through **Pools 101** in laymans terms. Marc is truly an expert whose family has worked with pools for multiple generations. He can clean and maintain your pool and even perform advanced renovations if you are looking for an updated look. In other words, he is not just some kid with an embroidered polo shirt masquerading around as an expert. Importantly, their communication and service is prompt. It was terribly frustrating to wait 3 or 4 days for a simple call back from other companies. Melissa, by contrast, answered immediately and worked to get me an in-home visit and quote within a day. Upon meeting Marc and talking numbers, the choice was simple for me. When I first moved into my house, the pool looked like a sewage pit and had numerous mechanical faults. In the span of about a week, my pool has transformed from a cesspool into a shimmering oasis. I have been so impressed, that I am now exploring the idea of using Marc and A Plus to do some renovation work to give my pool a modern face lift. In short, I highly recommend using these folks. They are professional, they are reasonable, and they are also just good people.

Arrived as promised! Very knowledgeable and got right to work on addressing the said shape my pool was in with weekly service from another company. Within a few hours my equipment was repaired and the water looked extremely better. I cancelled my old service and hired them immediately.

They did some repairs on my equipment. Did an excellent job and all in the same day. I have hired them to clean my pool and they show up on time and my pool looks great! The girl in the office is also very knowledgeable and answered many of my questions over the phone.
