Genesis Painting and Custom Remodeling

Absolutely first-rate job everywhere!! Best painters we ever used. If my wife or I asked them to do something, including touch-ups, they did so graciously and quickly. They were extremely careful in their work and in clean-up. Unfortunately, some stain got on the blinds on the second-floor entry window. Moses Clarke pointed the damage out, searched for a store that sold the exact same blinds, and drove to Dallas twice (once to deliver the old blinds and once to pick-up the replacement blinds, which had to be ordered). They always came to work when they said they would. That sort of punctuality is rare in the painting business. Moses and Jay are honest, friendly, hard-working, and excellent painters. I give Genesis Painting my highest recommendation. When my wife and I need further painting, we will turn immediately to Genesis Painting.

Moses and Jay kindly picked up the paint enabling me to get the contractor's price. They also replaced rotted boards and advised me wisely to add some horizontal boards around the bottom of all sides of of my 3-car garage in order to prevent damage to the bottom ends of the vertical boards. I had been having water damage and rot on the vertical boards. The new boards are beautiful and will, I am certain, extend greatly the life of the four sides of the garage. I was delighted that Moses and Jay picked up the boards, saving me much time. Moses and Jay painted carefully and expertly. They cleaned up at the end of each day. They offered excellent advice and went out of their way to please. They always arrived at the scheduled time. How rare is that! In the 21 years that my wife and I have owned our home, we have had the exterior of the house painted five or six times. Genesis Painting did the best job by far. My wife and i are thoroughly satisfied by everything that Moses and Jay did. They are exceptional painters and persons. I do not have a single complaint. I see no reason to go to any other painters when next I have anything to be painted. I recommend Genesis Painting with great enthusiasm. Anyone who employs them will be fortunate indeed.

Moses came quickly to do an estimate. Scheduled a full day of painting with him and a helper for $399. I bought the paint, but used Moses' account so was much cheaper than retail. Very professional and provided expert ideas. Thorough prep and clean up. Highly recommend!

Job started and finished at quoted timeframe. Paint and caulking applied superbly. Cleanup was excellent.

After the crew left, noticed many areas that have not been painted properly.

Arrive sharply at 9AM as per scheduled time. I show Moses my rooms and work to be done. Thats it, he and his team take care of the rest. They are professional and did a great job. After the job they clean up the area and all my rooms looks great. I got more than what I could have asked for. They did extra 15 minute of work so that the room can be completed. I will hire them again and again.

Furniture and flooring were protected. Room looked great!

I'm so very pleased. Moses was extremely punctual, professional, and knowedgeable. A really pleasant person who did a great job. I really, really, really wanted an accent wall painted in my master bedroom to tie in with the colors in the adjoining bathroom but the wall is very tall (12 feet) so I had postponed doing it. I also wanted an accent wall in my craft room to tie in to the colors in it's adjoining bathroom. no issue with height there but the color I chose (fuchsia) is very bold and i was concerned about needing multiple coats. My fears were put to rest. Love, love, love the look! I also needed advice about a prior paint job and what to do to improve on it. i now have a plan of action that should work. YAY!

Moses was very professional and did an excellent job. He is a meticulous and talented painter.

I contacted the owner, Moses, and told him what my situation was. He said that was something that he could absolutely do for me. He wanted $400.00 additional to paint both of the bathrooms. I ended up paying an additional $275.00 on top of the Big Deal I had purchased ($199 for an Interior or Exterior Painter for a Day). I made an appointment and he came to my house at 10:00 am on September 10th. He looked at both bathrooms and decided that he was going to paint the larger one first. He worked with a closed door due to the dust from the wall paper. When he finished I told him that it looked great! The problems came from the smaller bathroom. He had actually gouged holes into the wall to get the wall paper off. He said that the wall paper was aggressive and that he was having to fight to get it off. He told me he would patch all the holes and take care of it but that it was going to take longer. He ended up putting 3 layers of mud on it to cover all the holes and gouges. When he painted it, it was horrible. You can see all the patch jobs and where the paint is rippled. He had a horrible look on his face when it was done and had to call someone else to see what to do. That's when he put the third coat of mud on and repainted it. It does look better but not by much. He is still trying to charge me extra for his mistakes and I am ending up having to kennel my dogs so that he can work freely, which is costing me even more.

The painter showed up on time and neatly dressed. He measured and began painting very quickly. No additional fees since my measurements were accurate! The paint did not dry as fast as he expected so he came back later at no additional cost to finish the job. Very satisfied!

Moses has extremely strong work ethics and does work with very high quality and lots of attention to detail. He did an excellent job with the staining of the garage doors. A little stain dripped down on the concrete floor despite the fact that he had put a lot of cover cloth at the bottom. Without me even noticing or saying anything about the drip, Moses quickly realized what had happened and went to the store to get concrete stain, and immediately fixed the stain drips on the floor, making the concrete floor look much better than what it was before! I was really impressed that he had the conscience to know it was one of those unforeseen errors and how he resolved it on his own dime. I have really not seen such work ethics from any of the numerous painters I have employed in the past. Two thumbs up and I'd call Moses again for all of my painting needs and would refer him to my friends as well.

Moses did a Great job! Painted interior of my garage, four doors and bathroom cabinet doors that needed touch up. We were very pleased with his prompt courteous service.

Without a doubt, Moses was the best painter we have ever hired. He was punctual, professional and extremely polite. He went straight to work and finished the job quickly and with great care. We plan on replacing some flooring and replacing all of the baseboards in our house and Moses mentioned that he can help us with the baseboards. We will definitely use him for that. My husband, who is rather hard to impress, even posted Genesis Painting's card on Facebook. We are saving his card and will use Moses again and again.

It went awesome! Moses is a great guy to have work for yeah :) He was on time His work is near perfect He was kind and professional. He worked with me when it came to timing and scheduling. I had already bought the paint so all I needed from him was labor.He had a good idea about paint scheme when I was stuck in a rut an the results turned out awesome! When I ran out of paint, he went out and bought more so, that was cool :) It took him 2 days to do my entire house. Quality job and a quality guy. Nicely done :)

The service went really well. I was very pleased with what they did. I thought the price was really good for what I got.

Moses and crew first painted our kitchen and half-bath. I had him back 10 days later to paint the master bedroom and bath. While here he also added a 3rd coat to the kitchen at my request (and at no charge). We have scheduled him to paint the rest of the downstairs which have very high ceilings, the stairway and hallways. I believe that is evidence of our extreme satisfaction with Genesis Painting. Moses and his crew are extremely professional, and friendly. I'd give Genesis Painting an A+ if possible!

Moses(owner) and Tommy came by on very short notice and re-arranged their schedules to fit our time frame. They were very courteous, professional, did nice work and even cleaned up after wards. We ran a bit short on paint and Moses went above and beyond and said he would go to Lowe's and get the needed paint to finish the job. He knew I was dealing with some issues at work, smiled and said my pleasure. Not many service professionals out there like him anymore. Fair pricing, integrity and loves what he does.
