Genesis Painting and Custom Remodeling

It went so smoothly. Genesis Painting called and let me know when they would start and that it would take 2-3 days. Their crew came the first day and power washed the house. They removed old caulk and recaulked where needed. They put plastic on the windows to keep the paint off. On the second day they started painting. It only took 1.5 days to paint. You hardly knew they were here. They just went about their business and left the house beautifully painted and the surrounding areas clean. They were so easy to work with I will definately contact them again should the need araise for any of their services.

Genesis was super professional and accommodating. The work is beautiful - you can't even tell there was a hole! My only complaint is that the man that was sent did not speak much English, so it was difficult to set expectations. I could have called the owner/manager though if it were a problem.

Fantastic crew! AAA rating. On time every day, cleaned up after themselves, very detail oriented and excellent work ethics made it a pleasure to have them in our home. They were very careful to cover and protect everything from the popcorn removal as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will rehire them again for future projects.

Moses & his team did an excellent job on the tape & bedding you cannot even tell I had a huge hole in my ceilings. We had them paint the whole interior plus my kitchen cabinets everything looks new & fresh in my 19 year old house. I will definitely call Moses for my next project which will be painting my Home exterior

From the start to finish we were very pleased how we were treated. The work performed was excellent and you cannot tell there was a hole where the work was done. I would highly recommend and use them in the future! Thanks for the great recommendation and work.

They were amazing. Though they were booked out 2 weeks, it was worth the wait. Most professional painters I've worked with . Efficient with paint, protected the work areas and the rooms turned out great. Some of the straightest lines I've seen. 2 guys completed all the work in about 9 hrs with a break for lunch. I highly recommend Genesis painting and will be hiring them for more jobs around the house.

They did a really nice job. They were nice and personable. Easy to deal with. When I said this could be darker or whatever, they would do it. They were easy to work with. I really liked them. There was some places in the kitchen that they over sprayed a little bit cause they was in a hurry but that was my fault.

Nice. Love the color, they power washed including the deck that needed serious cleaning. Painted 2 story house with balcony, lots of nooks and cranies and the deck. Great job covering the windows and protecting things that didn't need paint/overspray. Very happy with the results.

Liked working with Moses and his team. They were on time and professional. He was able to fit this paint job into his busy schedule. They only had to paint the walls and not paint ceilings or any of the molding so they were able to get all 3 rooms painted in one day. They came back the next day and did any final touchups. The rooms look great.

Moses and his team did an excellent job, They were punctual, meticulous and courteous. This was not a simple job because they needed to repair and texture many rooms in my 44 year old home. Moses was great at communicating with both me and his team. I was impressed with the skills of this group and also their level of teamwork. I will definitely use them again.

Moses is a gem! We contacted him about filling hairline cracks, repairing tape and bed problems, and touching up some exterior painting on dormers. Throughout the job, he was professional, accommodating, and responsible. His estimate was far lower than others we received, and we liked his personable manner. His workers arrived on time and cleaned up each day. Some of the work needed to be redone because they used the wrong texture, and Moses insisted that they make it right. It looks lovely and we are thrilled with it. We cannot recommend Genesis highly enough! If you want a responsible painter who does what they promise, this is the company to call.

So nice! Was calling with general inquiry, he's out of town and took my call and was very nice. So he's hired. Will report back when work is completed in September.

Went very well. Moses provided a concise estimate that he stood by through the whole process. All went off without a hitch.

They completed painting all interior walls, closets, bath room of 5 bed 4 bath house (approx 3500sft) in 4 days as promised. They have been on time and worked late into the nights. They cleaned up well and did a great job over all. Would be glad to hire them and recommend them for any paint work

I cannot say enough good things about Moses, his lovely wife and the crew. They helped me picked the perfect colors, started when they said they would and finished within our limited timeframe. We purposly looked for any spots, over painting or oops and we cannot find a single one! Their work is absolutely amazing AND 1/4 what the other guy quoted! I would use them again, in fact Moses is going to my son's house tomorrow to quote some ceiling repairs. I'm sold!

I started by selecting a deal from Genesis Painting, which the job was then sub-contracted to Kingdom Painters in Orlando. When I signed up for the deal, was asked to pick a couple of dates I would be available to meet. I did that but no one confirmed any of the dates. And unfortunately they just showed up on one of the days I had picked while I was unexpectedly out of town. Left me voice mail messages but I was not home to respond. Finally had a meeting to discuss what I was interested in having painted and getting an estimate. Felt the estimate was a bit high and due to some unexpected bills was definitely not able to commit to having all that I wanted done at that time. And in order to at least have something done for what I had paid for with the deal I had my kitchen painted, sort of. On the day the painter showed up to paint the kitchen it started out great. He was right on time, very polite and ready to start. Unfortunately for ME he happened to lock his car keys in his trunk where his supplies were. Had to have someone bring him some supplies to at least get started. Thought that would be no big deal until the focus for the painter became getting his trunk open. This turned out to be such a big deal and such a long process getting his trunk open, which I don't really understand. But he certainly spent more time going in and out of my house and on the phone then painting. I thought he would be done around 11 am since he arrived at 8 am and the kitchen is not that big. But with all the back and forth outside and on the phone he was done around 1 pm or maybe even a bitter later. He did ask me around 11 am if he could come back the next day and I said no to that as I had taken the day off of work and wasn't able to miss another day. As I said earlier the painter started out doing great work but then it went down hill quick. My final result was one coat of paint, holes in my walls, which I had to ask him to patch up when I realized he had just slapped on the one coat of paint and left the holes in the walls. He fixed the holes by throwing some caulking on and then painted right over the wet caulking. I was so angry after he left because that one coat of paint looked terrible and during the estimate was told they always do two coast of paint. But since this guy spent so much time getting his trunk open and was surely late to his next appointment, the painter pretty much ran out of my house. As far as the one coat of paint.....well for the second coat I ended up painting it myself because the slop wash of one coat just wasn't going to cut it for me. Did leave a message to the Kingdom Painters owner to mention how the day went and was very understanding of the keys getting locked in the trunk but never heard back from him. Hate writing bad reviews but this is how my experience went. The thing is, this was a small job, so it seems no one really cared, but every job counts. One small or large job leads to something better if a customer is treated right

Genesis Painting representative Moses Clarke came out to our home right on time and got straight to work. He helped us pick the perfect colors for our master bedroom. He and his crew did a fantastic job. When they were finished they left everything clean and spotless. We had a marvelous experience with Genesis Painting. Great customer service but most important great painters.

Moses Clark arrived on the day before to assess the job. He made suggestions to lower the cost of the job and materials. The next day he arrived as scheduled with all materials needed to begin the job. He worked without stopping to complete the job in one day. He had to use oil primer on one wall. He prepped thoroughly and took great measures to protect my floors and permanently attached fixtures. He worked efficiently and was able to do two coats where needed. The work is perfect. I plan to have him back soon for another project. Very pleased.
