Everything went great. First we called and found out that we would get a 35% winter discount. They came out and went over everything with us. A day later they came out and measured all (49) windows. Then a couple of days later, they provided us with the best window cleaner we ever had. The next day they installed all (49) screens. They did an outstanding job. We highly recommend them.

From start to finish, their representatives treated us like valued customers. They answered all our questions with clear and concise responses. The screens were custom made and correctly fit our windows. I recommend Solar-Tex to anyone that is considering installing solar screens on the their house.

Quick response to request for service, technician (I think his name was Chad) measured the windows on my newly purchased zero lot line home. Took about 2 weeks for screens to be made and then installed. Chad was unable to measure several upstairs windows because he didn't have the right kind of ladder to access upstairs windows. So I only had the downstairs ones done. They all fit well and help with the heat inside since this house has really tall interior ceilings in portions of the house. After a year I called them back and told the lady who answered the phone that there was a problem with one of the screens. They immediately sent out a different technician who discovered the problem was one of the old screens was left on the window and not removed upon installation. They were very responsive to my request for a repair and the second tech said they could have done all my screens (I called a different company this summer and they came out and installed 2nd floor screens). The tech said Chad should have called for assistance and they could have done the whole job. Would have saved me some money and on fixed retirement/social security income that would have been good for me. Overall I am pleased with the screens and would use them again. However, I would probably ask more questions of the office personnel or owners so I wouldn't have to use two different companies. I also asked Chad to get someone to call me regarding some fogged window glass which apparently he did not do. I'm out of $ so will have to save up to get this done hopefully this year. They did not charge me for the trip they made for the repair I requested. Second tech was very nice and I wish he had been my initial installer.

THE WORKERS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND THEY FINISHED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD.
