Description of Work: Water extraction, wet carpet and pad removal, take moisture readings in walls and flooring, set up axial air movers, dryers, de-humidifiers and HEPA air filtration systems in all affected rooms, including those with wood flooring, to mitigate damage and prevent bacteria growth.

Description of Work: I was looking for an individual to clean & care for the carpets in my 2 bedroom rental units when they became vacant for a reasonable price. I had used an small business indiviual for over 15 years that gave me excellent service so this was a hard shoe to fill but this company got the job done. He did not rush the job and it came out soft without any residue remaining which I consider important for extending the life of the carpet. I was very pleased and will continue to use this small company.

Description of Work: I recently had a water leak inside the wall of my living room. The claims adjuster advised I have someone come and inspect the wall for mold. I called Joe and explained what I needed and although his schedule was full he was willing to fit me in. He was very efficient and professional and more than fair. I will definitely use his services in the future.

Description of Work: A water pipe burst in our home while we were at work. I came home from work, our home was flooded. In a panic, I opened the yellowpages, and found Fast Action Restoration, specializing in emergency water damage. I called, and they were at our home within an hour. They immediately began removing the water, and setting up the industrial fans and de-humidifiers. Our home was basically uninhabitable, so we went to a motel. Joe and his crew were at our home the first night until after midnight, moving all our furniture out of harm's way, and making sure the fans were removing the water. We contacted our insurance company the next morning, and were informed that our policy "excluded water damage of any type". We were not notified of this when we bought our policy, and feel that we were deceived and mis-led, and we will definitely be changing insurance companies. When we called Joe to let him know, he then called the insurance company himself, trying to reason with them. The insurance would not budge. Joe called us back and informed us that he planned to proceed as if this were an insurance claim. He was going to make sure all the water was out of our home, then he was going to come in and clean all of our tile floors and our carpet. Then he was going to help us move all the furniture back in place. AND, he was not going to charge us a dime. We were initially skeptical--- however, Joe did EXACTLY what he said he was going to do. Of course, we could not let him do all of that for us ( he was basically at our home every day for over a week ) and not be compensated. So we did give him the amount we would have had to pay for our deductible, IF our insurance had done what they were supposed to do. Joe actually was hesitant to take the money, but we insisted. Not only was Joe and his crew extremely professional and punctual, but they took such care with my furniture and my personal items, carrying my photos and treasures out of harm's way with such care, that it just made me cry. We have dealt with many different types of businesses in our years as homeowner's, but I can tell you, without a doubt, Joe Donovan and his crews at Fast Action Restoration, are the absolute best. They are professional, they are courteous and punctual, they are caring, they are honest and ethical, and they truly go the extra mile for their customers. They made a very difficult and stressful time for us so much easier to bear, because of their kindness, honesty and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them, highly, to anyone that has water damage, or even just needs their carpet or tile floors cleaned. My tile floors look brand new. Description of Work: This is the second year I have used Joe's services to clean up a disaster in my house. Last year we had water damage and this year, we had drywall dust from repairing the cracks that happened last year! I called Joe on a Saturday night at 10 p.m. when I realized how bad the dust problem would be. Since it was not an emergency he came Monday morning early to vacuum and clean.

Description of Work: Joe dried areas that had moisture damage and cleaned the carpets and upholstered furniture that had dust and dirt on them as a result of blowers and dryers being inside the house. He uses thermal imaging to locate exactly where moisture is lurking in the walls and floors. His steam cleaning got our carpet and furniture cleaner than they were after other famous steam cleaning companies cleaned them.
