The Home Depot - Irving

We had a light bump as the cabinet doors that showed up were not what we were expecting due to a difference in the sample we viewed when making our selection. However, the Home Depot was great and agreed to have the doors remade to meet our expectations at no extra charge. They completed the original work in a week. Both crew members were professional and did a very nice job. They set up a ceiling height plastic booth around our kitchen so most of the construction mess was confined to the kitchen. The new doors came in about a month later and Home Depot scheduled a time to come out and install the new doors. All in all, we were very pleased.

They came out to do that and it was during the time that they were doing that that the dishwasher which has now been replaced broke and it destroyed the floor. We immediately had to have new wood floor put in and they went ahead and took care of that as well. It was wood laminate floor. They didn't do a really good job. The cabinets look good but they made messes on the trims and so forth and they never cleaned it up. I sent a complaint to Home Depot with respect to that. For the floor they were getting close to having it finished and then they had to bring in someone that was not really a floor person and we ended up going to Home Depot numerous times to get it fixed. There was this glue stuff that we couldn't get rid off and they never responded in a positive manner so we ended up having to get to research on how to get rid of it. It wasn't a good experience. I would probably use Home Depot in the future to purchase my materials but not for their labor.

They give the best value for the money and they provide the service the same day. Overall, it was a very good experience.
