We are waiting for COUNTER SOURCE to file a retraction on the FRAUDULENT LIEN on our property. We have yet to receive an official apology, let alone any form of compensation for their incompetency and neglect.

very bad communitcation. took many phone calls to get any work completed. Purchased quartz counter tops by the slab and during fabrication they broke one of the slabs so we were not able to get every thing done that we wanted. Showed up unannounced to do install of shower entryway and had the measurements wrong so had to wait to get project finished. Needed to make several calls to get them back out. The final time they came out (unaccounced again) they installed the entry unlevel and with gaps so water could leak through. had to call back and get very adamant with them to fix the problem. Crew did come back out and fixed the problem but it took a lot of complaining. That being said the countertops were installed well. If that was the only part of the project i would of had a different review or if they would follow up with better communication.

Last year I did a complete remodel of my home. Countersrouce installed new counters and a very large island. About 4-5 months after installation I noticed some chipping along the counters in the kitchen. I called them and they sent some guys out with the manufacturers rep to take a look. At first they suggested replacing the countertops. After some discussion it was decided they could repair the counters without having to replace the entire thing. Today they came out and repairs were made quickly with very little mess. All precautions were made to protect my cabinets floors and appliances. They did an amazing job and I couldnt be happier. A++ Responsiveness and service. Good work guys!!

We actually had multiple separate jobs. We liked the first installer the most but the second one was fine. The people were patient and nice to work with. The counter tops look great. I would have like if we decided caulk color when we picked laminate color. Also would have liked if they put the laminate under the bar because the wood shows if you happen to be sitting.

I had a terrible experience with another countertop company. I was not willing to rip out the new countertops as I had lived without my kitchen for way too many months, but was trying to find out more about the actual process of fabricating and installing the countertops. I called CounterSource to ask them a few questions about how they would have done it differently. The woman who answered the phone was very nice. She was also very knowledgeable. She answered my questions and then suggested that someone from the company come out and take a look at my countertops. She set up an appointment, even though I told her that I had lived too long without my kitchen and was not willing to rip out the countertops to replace them. She said that she understood, but that I would at least have the information and knowledge I needed. The man who came out to my house was also very helpful and professional. He explained their fabrication and installation process. He looked at what I had and explained what they would have done differently. They create what they can at the shop, but don't put the final touches (sink holes and ends) on it until it is installed at the house. Only after it is installed do they do the final cuts for the sink holes and the ends, then apply the laminate on the ends. He said that it is only this way that the customers are happy as they get something sized exactly. (This is NOT what the other place did - they do everything in the shop and I ended up with size and sink hole placement issues). He also explained the new WilsonArt edges to me, which if the other place had explained to me, I would have gone with. I was very impressed with both the woman on the phone and the man who came to my house. Their helpful and professional demeanors were the opposite of what I had been dealing with.

Dobson's Flooring recommended The Counter Source as they work closely with them on other projects. When I contacted Bert Olive, it began a great relationship. I had found the laminate that I wanted at Lowe's and had gotten a proposal from them, so I gave the laminate information to Bert and he brought it over when he came to do measurements on 8/30/12. He was prompt and courteous and gave us all the information we needed. He emailed me the proposal the next day. We discussed some changes, which he made, and we signed the proposal. We chose Counter Source over Lowe's because Lowe's wanted the full payment up front (ridiculous!). I was having some painting done in the kitchen first, so there was no hurry for the countertops. Bert let me know when the laminate had been received and we set the date. Bert kept in contact with Dobson's in coordinating the date so they wouldn't be climbing all over each other. The team arrived on Thursday, 9/27, (promptly) and were done by 3:00. They contacted the plumber to have the new sink/faucet installed. He arrived as the team was finished cleaning up. It took about an hour to install the sink. When all the work was completed, the kitchen looked outstanding and elegant! The guys had removed all the trash and had cleaned up. A totally amazing experience!! I can't say enough good about all the people I had contact with right from the start! I can't stop grinning!!

The installers came on July 17th and tore out the kitchen countertops and demolished the backsplash with hammers. There was never any explanation given to me that they would destroy the backsplash beyond repair. After a hurried installation, I noticed that there was a gap ranging from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch along the bottom of the new countertop. The installer told me I would have to fix that myself.The new backsplash required 250.00 dollars worth of new sheetrock that I did not anticipate and The Counter Source charged me 130.00 dollars for "removing tile." Had I known that I would have pulled the tile myself. When I called the company about it they were disinterested and defensive about my concerns.

We are very pleased with our new countertops. The installation was done very professionally. The gentleman who installed the countertops was prompt and he was very detailed oriented. We would recommend this company.
