Our back yard was uneven and had patchy grass and compacted, bare dirt and it needed help. Billy gave us ideas about landscape materials to use, grass type, etc. and wrote up a proposal for the work to be done. We scheduled a day to do it and he came right on time, at 8 am with 2 other guys to help. Our small backyard was done in just half a day. There were no problems, and they cleaned up well. Billy is an experienced arborist/landscaper who knows his stuff about trees and plants. He spoke to us in detail about how to maintain the new sod and spent additional time with us afterwords to give us advice and ideas about how to improve landscaping at the front and sides of our house. He knows which plants and trees do well with the soil type, weather, and amount of shade and made some fantastic recommendations for a low maintenance, natural (no sculptured bushes for us!) look. When we are ready to tackle our front yard, we will definitely be giving Billy a call.
Description of Work: Entire back yard (approx 800 square feet) was tilled up and existing grass removed. Topsoil was added to level and fill in low spots. Approx 65 linear sq ft of Oklahoma Flagstone (rectangular stones) were laid loose to border beds. Approx 700 sq ft of St. Augustine grass sod was laid joint-to-joint and rolled in to make good contact with soil. Hardwood mulch was added to beds to finish off.
