Great company and outstanding techs. They send out real technicians that are professional and helpful rather than the sales techs other companies send out. I have used this company for the annual checkups and maintenance, and most recently they replaced a broken thermostat. Professional, quick and knowledgable!

I had a company come out, and they told me I needed a whole new unit quoted $9,038. I called Spencer's for a second opinion. They were able to fix some wires for $350, and the AC is now working! I can't recommend them enough. Especially Raul! He's great!

Great job! The technician arrived on time and he gave me a 30 minute phone call to let me know he was on the way. The technician was very competent and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me what the problem was. The new fan motor was replaced very quickly and on the same day.

One word for David Cummons - amazing.

David was the technician. He was excellent. He has serviced my unit before. He discovered that there was a lose power connection. He corrected the problem and then did an inspection of the rest of the system and found a hole which he repaired with silver tape. Since the filter was dirty and I had a new one, he replaced it. Lastly he rinsed off the fans for the external unit. He was extremely thorough especially after discovering it wad a lose power connection. The unit was installed by the company and has been maintained every 6 months by them.

I called Spencer Air Conditioning & Heating Saturday morning. The alternate heat was not kicking in so the house was not staying warm. David called me later in the day to let me know when he would be arriving at the house. Since I have a maintenance plan with Spencer, the visit was 89.00 instead of 150.00. He was very thorough in testing all the components to make sure that they each worked when manually turned on. I have a Nest thermostat. After he had determined that the thermostat was not sending a single to turn on the alternate heat. Together we went through the programming and realized that it had been set up incorrectly. It had been set up for a dual heat which is why it was not sending a signal to the alternate heat source. Once we reprogrammed the Nest thermostat for a single heat source, I was turned the heat up way up and he was in the ceiling and confirmed that each time I did that, the heat bars would kick on and start heating the air. He was patient and thorough in testing each component to make sure each one was working.

David Cummins was punctual and professional, as always. He is a great employee and an asset to Spencer Air.

Damione arrived on time and had called ahead to let me know when to expect him (much appreciated). He was very courteous and professional and was prompt in diagnosing the likely cause of our problem - a faulty compressor. He quoted a replacement but also suggested we think about replacing the outside unit as it was already 10 years old. We’ve scheduled an evaluation with an efficiency expert tomorrow to see if we need to look at doing more. I was definitely pleased with the encounter. We’ll see how tomorrow goes.
