They are always very good.

Work was performed in many stages as we found additional problems with old plumbing in the house. Always provided estimates and began work very promptly. As additional problems were found with our plumbing the work they suggested was well explained, and they did not try to sell excessive or very expensive solutions. Drain and sewer work was completed much more quickly than we expected, and the price was much less than we feared. They waived some call-out charges due to being very close to our house. Had some problems with water heater not staying lit after they removed/reinstalled, but these were rectified efficiently. Some work could have been slightly neater. E.g. left old flex gas connector coming out of wall behind water heater after installing new gas lines; original termite shield not replaced on one pipe run in crawlspace; gas line in attic for furnace not very well secured until subsequent HVAC work by another firm. Am probably fussier than most about this, as regularly check crawl space and attic. Very happy with the work overall. Estimates, invoices etc. were always clear and easy to deal with. Speed of work was extremely useful as we were trying to move into house and needed working plumbing and drainage.

I have used S&T many times in the past and have always been very pleased. This time was no exception. The work was fantastic. I usually would get multiple onsite estimates, but I knew I was going to go with S&T due to past experience. I simply called and had them estimate the work over the phone. The estimate was reasonable, so I scheduled immediately. When the plumber arrived, he pointed out that, to meet code, I didn't need certain things that were in the estimate, saving me a couple hundred dollars. Also, due to MY mistake during the phone estimate, the plumber had too big of a water heater to fit the closet. He simply called the shop, they had the right water heater out there in minutes, and they adjusted the material cost downward since it was a smaller unit. While I wouldn't have balked at an additional labor charge since my mistake cost them time, they didn't even hint at charging for the time wasted. Go with S&T. You will not be disappointed.

It was a great experience considering that this was a major expense. It was actually less money than a large big box supplier promised once I had a couple of estimates.

RICHARD, THE SERVICE MAN, WAS VERY POLITE & FRIENDLY. HE CAME OUT & TESTED THE LINE & EXPLAINED WHAT WAS REQUIRED OF OUR CITY. THEY DUG A TRENCH IN OUR NEWLY LANDSCAPED BACKYARD TO TAKE OUT THE OLD LINE & REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE. THEY DID THEIR BEST TO MINIMIZE THE DAMAGE TO OUR BACKYARD & PATHWAY. ONCE THE CITY HAD INSPECTED THE LINE, RICHARD CAME OUT TO CLEAN UP. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK DONE & THE TIME IT TOOK (2 DAYS). WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM FOR FUTURE USE.

THE REMOVAL OF THE MARBLE WAS A VERY COMPLEX CHALLENGE. THEY HANDLED THE JOB VERY WELL. THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE CULTURED MARBLE WITHOUT BREAKING IT AND THEN REWORKED THE PLUMBING SO THAT THE NEW FAUCETS WOULD WORK. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY GAVE STRAIGHT ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS. IT TOOK FOUR AND ONE HALF HOURS TO DO THIS JOB BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL BUILDERS OF THE HOUSE APPARENTLY DID NOT MEAN FOR THESE FAUCETS TO EVER BE REPLACED! WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK.

WE HAD A 'MYSTERIOUS' CLOGGED TOILET THAT WOULD ALLOW SOME WATER DOWN, BUT AFTER SEVERAL FLUSHES WOULD BACK UP. THE PLUMBER ARRIVED AND RAN A ROOTER DOWN THE LINE AND THOUGHT HE HAD IT CLEARED -- BUT THE NEXT DAY THE PROBLEM RECURRED. THEY PLUMBER CAME BACK AND USED A SPECIAL CAMERA TO FOLLOW THE PLUMBING LINE AND FOUND THERE WERE STICKS IN THE LINE, APPARENTLY PUT DOWN AN EXHAUST LINE BY OUR CHILDREN. THEY SUCCESSFULLY CLEARED THE LEAK AND WE ARE FLUSHING HAPPILY.

S & T HAVE VERY PROFESSIONAL WORKERS. THEY KEEP THE JOBS CLEAN AND FINISH WORK AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. THEY WILL SOLVE OTHER PROBLEMS ON THE JOB.
