Rockin "G" Construction

This guy was not everything that I expected. He would want to come into my house at 7 PM and work after he has been working at another job all day.

Pat Gloria and his gang got started on a Monday an were supposed to be finished in 4 days. After day 4 the job was 95% complete. It told me that the crew would be back on Monday to finish up, but he needed the final payment. I trusted this crook so I paid him the balance. That was a mistake. He never came back. Would not return my calls. This guy is a real crook. He insist on 60-70% payment up front, and never plans on finishing the job. When you meet him he seems like a real nice guy, someone you think you can trust................. DON'T DO IT. PAT GLORIA IS A REAL SNAKE!!!

After he literally tore down the cover, which was 300 sq ft, he hauled it off and then he tore the existing material off from underneath my roof to prepare building a frame for the gabled roof. When he did that, we had our first ice storm. I had to call him and asked him to cover it because all the ice was going into my attic. He put plastic up, but it didn't stop anything it got full of water when it rained. the frame was poorly constructed. he said it was treated wood, it wasn't. The posts weren't put up correct and this was told to me by another contractor. To repair the damage will be an additional $8,000. There is roof damage and eve damage. Its been left like that. The warning is, when someone comes to your house and requests money to get the job started, you give a portion of it. This man took the money, requested more when he put the frame up, and then left with no work. He took 300 sq ft of aluminium and sold it when it was supposed to stay here.

The contractor, Pat Gloria, tore the existing patio cover down the first day. Hauled off all the aluminum from the patio cover and posts. He did not have my permission to take aluminum. Leaving my house roof open to weather conditions. Exposing rafters to freezing precepitation. Pat came back to work I thought, one day and which time he told me he would have to come back the next day but wanted to return the wood he had outside to Home Depot for exchange because it got wet. I told him to bring it back because my bother told me he would go with Pat to exchange. My brother was getting distrusting of the contractor. I believe he would of returned the lumber for a refund of money for himself or used it on another job under the circumstances. Pat did not return to continue the work until the 15 of November to request more money consisting of $2200.00 more to complete the patio and roofing. At that time he put up an uncompleted frame in about 12 hours over 2 -1/2 days. While he was doing that work I observed Pat had walked out to the yard as tho he planned to start that project as well. I walked out to him, asked him to please finish the patio before we started on the yard. His crew consisted only of himself and son. When we first talked, Pat informed me he had a full crew to do both jobs. Gave me a complete date of 21 days on contract. Was missled all the way around. After several promises to come and complete the job in two or three days, contact was lost. Phone number disconnected. I feel like I gave Mr Gloria every opportunity to contact me and at least return the money he took from me if he did not want to complete the job . I was widowed in June of 2013 and Mr Gloria knew that and I believe took advantage. He addmitted using my money for another job he was doing at the time he was supposed to be doing mine. A very expensive lesson learned unfortunately. I just hope that this man doesn't have the opportunity to do this to anyone else. I was quoted a cost right at $8000.00 by another contractor to repair all that this contractor, Rockin G Contruction was responsible for.

tub and shower took forever to complete, we were unable to use our master bedroom and bath for nearly a month contractor kept asking for more money in advance, always had a excuse for not showing up when he promised he would be there gave him way too much cash up front and one day he never came back to complete the paint job or wood work. Grouting on steps doesn't match and is shoddy - sloppy with concrete spilled everywhere. so basically i'm out of approx. $1000 cash and contractor won't return calls or text messages! Extremely disappointing because we had used him before and he did did a good job, although slow to complete work. Do not use this outfit - very unprofessional
