Reliant Air Conditioning

The tune-up was part of my yearly contract with Reliant to check my air conditioning and heating (heat pump unit installed by Reliant in 2017). The service professionals arrived in uniform in a marked van. One worked on the inside unit while the other worked outside. The advice given was professional, and the area was clean after they left. Great work today keeping my system in top running form.

I’ve used this company on a few occasions now. Always on time. Always professional. Never upcharged me. They will be my go to from now on. Recommending to all my friends!!

Bob got here right on time, and was very professional. I told him about an issue we had with the thermost and he immediately began troubleshooting. He verified all the wiring was properly installed and all the settings were correct. He concluded that the thermost was not working and determined it was under warranty. He completed the fall checkup and told me he would place the order for the replacement thermost. 30 minutes after he left, I received a call from Reliant home office to schedule the installation of the new thermost. A very satisfying service call that was well worth the money.

came out to quick to give estimate to replace coils, far better price than the original company that installed the unit. But when they came back a few days later to install the new coils, they brought the wrong part! Yesterday, they came out to do a tune-up on both systems for the winter and when the tech left he said everything looks great. When we arrived home from work part of the house was freezing! I while back I gave a good review on (Google) BUT that was based on the price quote and quick response. Now that I actually got to deal with this company on a get the job done, that's a whole different experience. I just got off the phone with the office and she proceeds to tell that me all she shows is one unit, really? I had to inform them again that we have 2 units, all that info should reflect from the service agreement I paid for! This company either has so much business that they can't keep up with the demand OR the folks they're hiring aren't of the highest caliber.

Had a technician out Sunday to evaluate. I was about to go out of town and didn't want to wait for parts, plus my unit was pretty old. So Reliant worked with me to get a quote set up Sunday evening and had their team out Monday morning. It was a long day, and we had a few small issues, but the unit was installed, tested, and has been running well all week.

Reliant did the ac for our home and did an excellent job. Whenever a question has come up or whenever there has been a service need, they have done a good job getting us taken care of. In sales work with Jason Everett. Our favorite tech is Joe Allen. He always does a fantastic job taking care of us on our fall and spring maintenance, plus on any other issues that might come up. We enthusiastically recommend Reliant and Joe Allen in particular to friends and family.

My most-recent service was the full furnace tune-up. Francisco was extremely professional and detailed, walking me through each of the steps he took during the inspection.

The situation was covered by the warranty so tech showed up, realized the problem & was on his way quickly. I have heat now!

As usual, our technician was on time, professional, and efficient. We are members of the Hero Club, so the check-up on our system is included in our normal service fee. The only thing extra was a fee for a new filter. I appreciate him replacing it for us this time as I was all out of replacements. Another good thing about Reliant is that they contact me and schedule this check-up twice a year so I don't even have to remember to call.

I have used Reliant air for several years and have always been satisfied. They originally installed a new AC system with zoning and cured a heat and air temperature differential issue within areas of our home. Their workers are pleasant and professional ( Garfield has been great to work with ) and they have always been fair and honest.

I called Reliant back twice, where I spoke to Cheyenne. I asked her why I wasn’t getting same day nor even next day service when the contract of the Hero Club clearly states that I was supposed to receive it. She told me that was only when same day was available??!! So no same day emergency service, no next day emergency service, not even 2 day emergency service. They wouldn’t come for 3 days, on Friday. My contract is a worthless piece of garbage. DO NOT JOIN THE HERO CLUB. It’s a ripoff and they don’t honor what you paid them for. I asked Cheyenne once more, if there was anything at all she could do for me to fix this situation before I call another A/C company. I explained that the unit that went out controls the main living and kitchen and bulk of our home. She simply said, “No. I cannot.” So we have a $265 service contract with Reliant and a completely different A/C repair company coming at 9:30 in the morning to fix our unit. Ridiculous. I will never use Reliant again.

Francisco is very professional and knowledgeable. He arrived on time , diagnosed my AC unit and installed a new Capacitor. I will definitely call them again for any future maintenance /repairs.

Eddie knew what he was doing. As soon as he looked at the HVAC, Eddie could spot the issue and fixed it quickly. He also explained all my queries and explained all the charges upfront. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and expertise. Thanks a ton.

I am very happy with Reliant. We called their office at 8:45pm on a 108-degree day, because our AC wasn't cooling. They sent a technician the same evening. Our technician was Joe, who was very courteous and professional. Since it was nighttime, he knocked, rather than ringing the doorbell, which I appreciated since our kiddos were in bed. He quickly diagnosed and addressed the issue and taught us what to do if we experience the same issue in the future. I am impressed with Joe and with Reliant, and will continue to use their services in the future.

They diagnosed it quickly and repaired it quickly. Very professional and nice.

Everything went well. The only real issue I had is I never received the attic door tent that was on the purchase order.

Kudos to Eddie: punctual; professional; clear explanation of issues, answers to questions, & repair vs. replace options. Checked but couldn't find slow R22 leak. Based on prior web research, R22 pricing at $120/lb was competitive. Reliant doesn't drain R22 and replace with newer & cheaper refrigerant, which I would have wanted to do had more than 2 lbs been needed; instead, they sell a new system. Low-end pricing of $5000 for a new 2-ton system was on the high end of what an Angie's article cited ($3000 for basic unit, $5000 for mid-range system), but Eddie explained that "basic unit" was likely capacitor/fan/evaporator/etc. force-fit into existing system shell.

They gave me an estimate over the phone that blew away the competition. They were punctual, professional and got the job done in less time than I expected. Will definitely use again.

I couldn't get an appointment for a few days, and on the appointment day the tech couldn't get there until after 7:30pm, but other than that minor quibble, the service was great. The tech (Peter) was very friendly and professional. He showed me exactly what was wrong (bad capacitor in the compressor), as well as what was OK, but could be better (coolant levels). He answered all of my questions. I would be happy to use them again.
