Description of Work: Correctly diagnosed that a spent capacitor was the cause of ac compressor unit shutting down intermittently. Technician arrived within 90 minutes of calling the dispatch. Even gave me the Angie's list discount.

Description of Work: I had two 5 ton infinity Carrier heat pump units, which were variable speed two stage systems, with part of the upstairs dual zoned, with remote thermostat installed, one year ago. All I can say about Reliant Air conditioning (RAC) is WOW! I am a HAPPY customer . I performed all my research on AC units which includes asking friends (who install AC units) and having multiple estimates. Multiple estimates are most important, and the lowest is not always the best. I knew everything I wanted to know about AC units from my research. What did I find out? It’s all about the installation, period! I really do not know where to begin, when the gentleman came to my house and told me everything he was going to accomplish while selling me the units and at what price, I could not resist. I was waiting to see it all happen. No other AC business even offered to go the distance and change out both of the systems the way Reliant Air conditioning offered. The other people were not even cheaper. Previously, I had two 5 ton payne units. During the week leading up to the install date, the sales person kept me up-to-date and provided any and all hand written details of the contract, or what was promised in writing. The day came for installation and they all arrived on time. All personnel came with matching shirts with RAC logos. They all matched their nicely wrapped trucks with the RAC logos. I was never concerned with any of the people in my home as they all performed their jobs and they all were very kind and answered all my questions. Very professional! Eleven hours later, the downstairs was working, including most of the upstairs, and the next day, the upstairs systems worked wonderful. Why two days? RAC completely turned my attic into a working attic. RAC uninstalled my old units from my attic (attic was two floors and a difficult install with little to no attic flooring) completely. RAC proceeded to install both units on the downstairs and part of my attic, including cutting, laying and nailing my attic floor. RAC ran and re-ran new duct work and greatly improved my duct work by hanging all duct work, properly. Now I truly have a walk-in attic with more space. How awesome! I cannot give enough gold stars to this group of guys and this company. Now one year later, they continued their service and everything is working perfectly. This is a great group and they do what they say.

Description of Work: Performed semi-annual check on two A/C units. Will be back in the fall for furnace check. Pleasant, knowledgeable, courteous.

Description of Work: Technician arrived on time and performed the routine maintenance on my HVAC, including cleaning the outside unit. He found a bad capacitor and replaced it, hence the extra cost. There was no attempt to sell me a new HVAC system (mine's 30 years old).

Description of Work: The technician was very proffessional. He did his job well and without interuption. He did not try to sell me something I did not need. I appreciated that he was honest and told me that while the capiciter(?) was going out he believed I would make it through the summer with it. I'll use them again next year.

Description of Work: Gustavo did a complete check on both a/c systems for $69 each. He unclogged one drain and replaced capacitors for $132.50 each. He thoroughly explained the capacitors and showed us the difference in testing the old and the new.
