Reliant Air Conditioning

They came out to do the spring tune up. I was not home and had my mother wait on the technician. They now offer clearing out the drain lines as part of the tune up. The technician was not aware of the change. He marked it on my invoice and left. I called Reliant and they verified it was a covered service. They sent the technician out immediately and he cleared the lines. Great service.

it did not...they have yet to contact us with an actual quote or how soon they could get started.

Technician Mike Hardy called 30 min before his arrival and notified me when he would arrive. Mike arrived in 20 min from his call and went right to work servicing the units, after completing the outside work he came inside, put booties over his shoes, and went into the attic to service the two units. Mike notified me that both units were in good shape and only as an after thought told me about Reliants "Hero Club" for yearly maintenance. I will be signing up for the "Hero Club" with Reliant and will ask for Mike to be the technician when I need service. There was no hard sell of any products and I recieved exactly what I purchased and am extremely pleased with Reliant and their tech Mike Hardy and would highly recommend both.

Reliant Air Conditioning was very quick to respond to our request for service. Mario called to say he was on his way. He arrived in the expected time frame. He was efficient, professional and friendly. He told us we had a leak in the overflow pan on one unit, gave us the charge to replace, and exerted no pressure when we told him we had American Home Shield insurance and that we would have them replace it because it would be covered. We would definitely use this company again.

I submitted a repair request through the Reliant website and received an email confirmation that stated I would hear from them very soon. Today, after not hearing from for nearly 24 hours I called in. After I gave the operator my information she said she would be happy to set up an appointment for me...next Monday. It is currently over 90 degrees upstairs and I cannot wait a week for a repair. I understand that the company is busy but their system is seriously flawed that I did not receive a call from them and it makes me wonder if I could have gotten in sooner if their online repair request system worked correctly.

My HVAC system has not been blowing cool air for several weeks. Two weeks ago I contacted Reliant Air in Irving, TX and was told that the soonest available appointment was Tuesday, June 16th, 2015. I asked if there was an emergency list and was told that there was no such list. I informed Reliant Air that I wanted to purchase a service plan that would provide two service calls per year. Today, Monday, June 15, I received a message telling me that due to emergency service calls, Reliant would be unable to keep the appointment and would need to reschedule. I immediately contacted the office and was put on hold while customer service contacted dispatch. I was told that the technician could come out and deal with the cooling issue, but that my units would not be serviced. I declined and will seek another company. I regret wasting two weeks waiting on a company that does not value my business.

Joe was awesome. He was on time. He took the time to explain everything to me. He did great work. He went above and beyond. AND he was honest. I had a company last year tell me I needed a whole new unit. Guess what? That turned out to be a lie. Joe found the reason why our system broke last time and fixed it. Reliant offers an annual member that I'm buying ASAP. When you find an honest company that does great work - you stick with them. I would refer Reliant to my family and friends.

This was a great service to do before moving into our house, just to give us an idea on age and quality of the air system. The provider was easy to schedule, on time, and professional. They met my expectations in terms of what I wanted from the service.

The technician, Fort was EXCELLENT! We will specifically request him for any AC needs in the future!

Installation location of intakes and outlets was changed without good explanation. Had to insist on installation locations agreed upon. Otherwise fast and efficient. Had some wiring problems crop up in March which took longer than expected to resolve, but was eventually made right.

The technician came for a tuneup. Told me that the refrigerant is not about the standard and he added two lbs freons. A week later noticed the whole system is not working. When next technician came, he said the whole system is empty.

Very good service, not pressure you to buy something unnecessary. On time and easy to schedule on Angie's list.

Excellent. Primary drain was stopped up. He repaired the problem, changed filters that I had on hand, and serviced the units well. He called my attention to a short-cut that the home warranty people made in one of the circuits that should have been handled otherwise. Service went beyond expectations.

They went through the property management company to schedule so it was sometime in the fall. It was a year long service. They were professional, on time. I haven't had any complaints about the functioning of the AC or the furnace so to my knowledge everything went well.

Very accountable company! They will not stop working until they get everything as we want them to be. There have been unforeseen problems that have nothing to do with Reliant, but with our particular roof design on our condo and a long term leaking problem long before they put in the unit, , and they have continued to deal with them. We are amazed and very appreciative.

The service was okay. There was no additional cost on top of the $69 Big Deal. They came out within a couple of days after I purchased the Big Deal; it was not too bad. I like that they showed up when they said they were. The technician was knowledgeable and they answered all my questions. I thought the price was fair; it was okay. It was real worth it.

I received a call that the technician was en route. The visit went very well. Jimmy, the tech, was personable, had a sense of humor and yet maintained professionalism. A part was needed and he explained it and demonstrated how the part worked. I asked Jimmy about the part, its life expectancy, durability, etc. and he told me all I needed to feel ok with the replacement need. He did not rush - as many companies with coupons tend to do; the work was done in a professional way and took as much time as needed. Jimmy put the shoe coverings on to protect the indoor floors. At the end, I gave a check and he explain the 'Hero Club' what it included, etc. Overall - an excellent experience with this company and technician.

Technician performed service as expected. She arrived early and was very informative about the process. She did try to sell me a rather expensive service plan after i had already told her I had a home warranty plan.

It was good. With experience from the past they did a pretty good job.

Did not go well. We had no trouble with our one year old HVAC system. We just wanted to have a spring and fall check up to make sure everything was inspected by a professional. First technician came out and said all was fine. That was on a Monday. On Friday it got cool so we tried to turn on the heat and in didn't work. Called and had to insist that someone should come out. They tried to say it wasn't their fault. They said they would have to charge us another visit fee. Finally they sent another technician out who said the Nest thermostat was broken and left. Fortunately we have two units so we switched the thermostats. Still did not work and the "broken" one worked fine upstairs. Called Reliant again. They sent a different technician out who diagnosed it as loose wiring, said he fixed it, and left. It is not fixed. But we are not going to call them back out again. We now have to switch the wires from AC to Heat until we can get the wiring continuity checked. Was it their fault? We don't know. But our system was working fine before they came out and we were not impressed by the miss-diagnosed "broken" problem. We have lost all confidence in this company. Update: Customer service manager called regarding my review. He was very kind and concerned and wanted to send another tech out to check our system. Today we now have a properly working system. Tech was very thoughtful and thorough and came up with a good way to repair the problem. Offered to pay but did not get charged for the visit. I am now a happy customer and may even use them again!

This will be my last time dealing with this company. The people who work in their office scheduling the technicians and services are terrible. My previous dealings with this company have been spotty at best, terrible actually. I agreed to keep Reliant on to maintain our two systems after they previously failed me, in an attempt to really see if they can perform. I called to schedule my spring service, set the date and specifically requested a morning time. I told the operator it HAD to be in the morning and that I always request morning service. I would take any day they had, just please note I need morning appointments. This morning was my scheduled service and I called the company to see where I was on their schedule, late or early morning. I was told that actually it looked like I would be in the afternoon, definitely after 12 but likely early afternoon time frame. As I have two separate afternoon carpools AND am working with my boss to get him moved this afternoon, I was livid. I was told here was no note on my appointment about the morning. I am always specific about needing morning appointments. My options were to reschedule to a different day or keep the afternoon appointment, leaving me scrambling to keep my other commitments. I've had it. This company does not value their customer's time, they do not listen to their customer's needs. I know for a fact we will need to replace our upstairs unit sooner rather than later and I definitely will not use Reliant ever again. After this service is performed, I will no longer use them to maintain my systems and I'm telling all my friends not to use this company.

I like them and have used them in the past as well. They've done excellent work and are very detailed in their checks for the heating and A/C units. I always go with them and ask questions, which they are very good about explaining everything to me.

It went well. Service Technician showed up on time and serviced my units on time and for the price quoted. I have new units so didn't anticipate any problems and didn't run into any. It was as advertised.

Everything went well. They completed the work in a timely manner, they acted professionally, and the new unit is running just fine thus far.
