We are members of the Hero's Club, which gets us priority scheduling and free tune ups in the spring and fall...plus a discount for parts and repairs. LaPolean came to our house for this spring tune up. He was on-time, very thorough and did a complete reset on a complicated system that includes 5 different zones on 2 different systems. Alls well, and we're ready for what appears to is going to be a long hot summer. Thanks Reliant . . . smartest improvement we've ever made to our home. Kris Tennison engineered a system that dropped our highest electric bill from $951 to $384. Amazing.

It was the second or third time using them.

I interviewed several companies, all from Angie's List. Reliant was not the least expensive or the most either. They were able to do my installation just two days after quote which was great because a cold front came through the very next day. The salesman was very thorough and described the installation plan very well. They were the only company concerned with the FULL system. Not only did they change the exterior and interior unit, but they felt the ductwork needed attention also, in order to fully meet my needs. Although they were not the cheapest (and by the way they were not the most expensive by far) but they paid attention to the Whole System! This made their quote the best by far in my estimation. The 4 man installation crew were ALL extremely courteous, friendly and took care of my home as though it was their own! The installation was very clean, they suspended the system off of the attic floor so there was no vibration in the ceiling. And to my pleasant surprise they suspended all of the ductwork off of the attic floor as well so that the attic is very clean and accessible. It will be much easier to add insulation later because of this! When they left I had a new system, but you could barely tell they had been here! And that was after having a full system and ductwork torn out of my house and on the lawn. Never knew there was that much to the system until I saw it out there either. I would highly recommend Reliant Air to anyone.

Two experienced installers, employees of Reliant Air Conditioning, expertly dismantled and removed the old system, then prepped, assembled, and installed the new system. The whole job took a little over six hours -- your situation could be different. The installers were polite and professional. They protected the flooring with heavy tarps. They answered all my questions. When the work was done, they cleaned up the worksite and even vacuumed the floor. They explained the system's operation and told me what I could expect. They completed much of the paperwork that will allow me to file with the power company to receive a sizable credit on my utility bill. They also told me the number of the tax form I should file to receive the $300 tax credit and provided me with the information I will need to complete the form. Very helpful.

Outstanding save for one small issue resolved. The local city inspector said it was one of the best installations he's ever seen. Extremely happy and highly recommend them!

Reliant replaced all three units in one day which helped with our very busy schedules. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. They also did a great job protecting our floors and cleaning up after the installation.

Everything went very well from the sales consultation through the installation. Everyone was straight forward, honest and professional. They went above and beyond by fixing or replacing small things that were needed but not specifically listed in the contract. I have already referred them to a friend who needed some repair work.

The contractor showed as scheduled, reviewed my present installation, explained the attributes and performance qualities of several HVAC models that might be applicable to my application. Based upon my input made a recommendation of two models that would fit perfectly my desires. Provided a written estimate for both models and the advantage of rebates for upgraded units. No work has been done yet, but the representatives presentation and professionalism was duly noted.+

They are punctual and they explained to me the problem and what they needed to do. It was under warranty. The workers did an excellent job.

He showed her how to reset the breaker (a separate one in the a\c closet and explained what else she should check to save a service call. Paid for the service call.

I had already gotten some one else's opinion but decided to get a second look. Eddie came out and figured out the problem in about 5 minutes. He had the part on his truck and had it replaced within a half hour. Then he proceeded to do a thorough check on the entire system from the electrical to the coolant levels. Every thing was in great shape! All i needed was a $90 part replaced but the other company was charging over $600 to replace something completely different (which happened to pass Eddie's inspection by the way) thank you Reliant for your honesty! I forgot to mention, Reliant was pretty busy today but they were able to squeeze me in for a same day service. You guys made my day.... HOLD ON TO EDDIE, HE'S A GREAT ASSET TO YOUR TEAM

I’m finally finishing my taxes for 2015…I know, it’s the last minute, but it couldn’t be helped. Anyway, I was reviewing all of my information for taxes and thought that I would share this update with you. As you know, prior to changing my systems, my high electric bill was $948. Last year my highest bill was $384. And more importantly, as I look at the monthly charges, almost every month is lower. We turn the A/C on in early spring, I like it cold, 68 in my bedroom at might and 72 in the house when I’m home, and keep it on late in the fall. Don’t forget that includes keeping a winecellar chilled at 64 degrees year round. Anyway, every time I look at my electric bill, I fall in love with my A/C system all over again. You guys did a GREAT job!

We walked through a number of options for the replacement from the minimum 14 SEER to other options. We chose two 17 SEER units including installation of compressor, furnace and coil. A very professional team worked on the two units for the whole day outside and in the attic. Swift and professional.

Great, the removal and install took most of the day. Very thorough.

These guys did a great job. The new system and ducts move air well, the second story stays cool without running all day. When the city inspector came by he commented that the techs did a great and thorough job. Well done Reliant!

Great response time. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable and got us up and operational again quickly. Great customer service!

Was quoted $5000 to replace 1.5 Ton with 3 Ton and said replace concrete pad to raise up some. Next day when work started, determined could only have 2 Ton with the existing heater. I suppose new pad was not necessary and not price difference to have installed or not. Price adjusted down to $4700 and said difference of a 2 or 3 ton is only $300, everything else is the same, They were fast and neat. No complaints. I needed cool air to sleep.

I have been with Reliant for the past year. Twice I had problems with one of my A/C units and they were able to come out the same day. In 95 degrees, that is amazing service. This last time when my A/C had a problem, there were not able to come out the same day but the next. I called another company. They left without fixing the problem and quoted me $7000 for the LEAST expensive solution....a new system. Reliant came out the next day as advertised (shout out to Tony!) and in about an hour, found two loose wires, got the system working. Cost: $0. Does it get any better than this in customer service?

We called late Saturday evening and Todd called in the morning to say he could be there in 30 minutes. He was punctual, professional and explained everything he was doing. He quickly replaced the bad capacitor and got the fan working correctly. Since the compressor was hot it would not come on until it was cooled. He then proceeded to cool the compressor until the unit was operating correctly. He then checked out the freon levels and operating pressures which were within spec. This is the first time we used this company and we have decided to make the change to Reliant a permanent one. Todd;s professional service during an extremely busy Father's Day weekend due to the heat wave we are experiencing were responsible for that change. We are planning a system upgrade at our house (today's work was done at our daughters house ) in the next year and plan on calling on Reliant to perform the work.

It was in an awkward space, but he managed to get the drain unclogged and working. I've had no leaking the last 2 days.

The first guy didn't give us a very good diagnosis of what the problem was, and it broke the very next day. We called him to get it fixed, and to get it looked at, and he didn't identify what the issue was. He completely didn't get it right. They sent two or three people and took too long. I was in a hurry this time, so I just picked them, I would shop more next time.

Called Reliant on Jan 6. The sales rep Mike dropped by the same day. He provided very helpful suggestions. I asked him a lot of questions, and he was very polite and patient in answering them. The installation crew (two gentlemen) arrived on Jan 8. It took them 5 hours to complete the work in the attic. They were also very kind and professional. After replacing the gas furnace, they installed dampers and adjusted air flow so that my master bedroom which was far way from the furnace was no longer colder than the other rooms. They also labeled individual dampers to facilitate future adjustment. The new Carrier Edge thermostat looks really cool. It has a unique feature for old houses. It allows installation of the control module next to the furnace in the attic. The control module communicates with the display module (in the room) using only two of the existing wires. So you don't need to worry about adding more wires for more advanced equipment. Reliant also took care of permit and inspection. Of course mine passed.

I will start with Spring A/C tune up. THe service tech who came for tune up was professional and based on the age of the equipment recommended to replace the equipment. He mentioned based on pressure gauge readings that each unit would need approximately 3lbs of gas. He also mentioned about some minor leaks in the evaporator coil. I got a quote from reliant sales person recommended by tech. We did not go with replacement route and after this never got a followup call from Reliant/tech if I wanted to work on fixing the leaks and fillup my systems with gas. I worked with my home warranty and got a different service company comeover and reservice the A/C equipment. Lack of followup and push to replace the equipment is what prompts me to give a "C" rating for this call. The Fall tuneup for heating system was much simple and straight forward. The service tech was professional and confirmed the unit was in good condition. He explanied the needed things in detail. I would rate this visit an "A".

After the new blower motor was installed, we immediately complained that the motor didn't sound as loud and didn't seem to be putting out the same airflow as the older motor. As it was November, we couldn't test the system "under load" to see what it would actually do. Temps were mild. They came out twice to check and assured us the blower was the proper RPM and voltage, despite our complaints. fast forward to December. First cold snap that got down to the 30s. Woke up to a heater short cycling - the blower was on but the flame wouldn't stay lit longer than 20 seconds. House temp of 60 degrees. Cleaned the flame sensor. Replaced the thermostat and filter. Didn't help. Replaced the flame sensor. Burn time went up to two minutes. Also changed the thermostat and replaced the filter. No success. Took 24 hours to reach a temp of 68 degrees. Had a tech come out again today and he quickly spotted that they installed a 220 V blower instead of a 120. Completely fixed the problem. Not sure how the other three guys missed it but that is a rookie mistake. They did follow up a lot and return my calls, but if multiple visits don't fix it (and from multiple managers from the company) then you start to ask questions. tony, our last service tech, was great. Not very confident in the other ones. Thank goodness I have a job that is flexible so I could be here for the multiple follow ups. Overall not a bad company but my confidence in them is low. Update: I spoke with David Ripley at Reliant shortly after the repair was completed. He apologized profusely and refunded my service fee. In my opinion, they did everything they could to try to rectify this situation. Nobody bats 1,000 and I appreciate Reliant's efforts to make this right.
