They were able to come out the day after I called and fixed my A/C lickety split! Well, I was hoping that they could come out same day since it's hot in the Texas summer, but I was happy for a next day appointment and resolution all the same. The capacitor had died and needed replacing. The tech, Eddie, is extremely knowledgeable and even checked out why I wasn't getting airflow to the kitchen for me by looking into the ducts in the roof. I would definitely hire them again for any issues with my A/C. Highly recommend! They even have a regular maintenance plan for your A/C. Oh! And I had forgotten to apply my Angies' list coupon for $25 off and the office applied the credit back to my card for me. Reliant has great customer service!

Called reliant on 07/20/17 and asked for a 07/21/17 appt. with a different tech for another opinion. They said they would try to work me in. Called reliant at about 3:00 pm on 07/21/17 see if I could get an eta, they said around 5:00. At 6:07 someone called, when I answered they hung up. Called reliant again at 6:20 and they assured me a tech was on the way. Called them back at 6:50 and was told "he must be stuck in traffic". It is now 9:10 am on 7/22/17 and still have not heard from reliant.
Description of Work: Unit comes on around 12:30 and will not stop until late evening around 10 or 11. The airflow out of the vents is erratic, blows for a few seconds, stops a few seconds,blows a few seconds, stops a few seconds. This goes on allday, the sound of the constant start stop is very annoying. About two weeks ago one of their techs came out, was on time, he reset the humidity level at the thermostat, looked at the air filter in the attic and said there was nothing wrong. There is no one home during the day so the thermostat is set to 80 degrees which it usually hits between 12 and 1. Once it starts running, even when it goes below 80 it continues to run. It's supposed to come on at 3:00, cool to 76 and at 6:00 start to cool to 73. That's about 10 hrs. of constant running to cool 7 degrees. They took out a cheap builder grade a/c and replaced it with a carrier performance system. This system is not much better than the builder grade system they took out. My electric bills are about the same as with the old system. As a side note, my walls have been foamed, I have the performance gas filled windows and have extra insulation in the attic.

Reliant did an excellent job, they explained everything they were going to do during installation and they followed through on every detail. You can see the quality of installation from installing a new intake vent to protecting the lines on the outside unit. They have been doing maintenance on our unit for years and we have had a great experience every time.

The company was very professional and I really liked that I could pick up the phone and call them anytime and someone answered right away. When it came to the installation, they were on-time, worked very cleanly and everything was installed in a timely and professional manner. The AC has been working great since they were there and we feel like we got a good installation at a good price which is the most important things when picking an AC company. We will definitely use them if we have any future AC business.
Description of Work: Our upstairs AC unit was damaged by hail and we needed it replaced as well as the inside coil converted to the new freon. Our upstairs coil was brand new so we did not replace it at the time.

The installation was done in one day as promised, for the price quoted. The crew was very respectful for us, and even vacuumed the carpet after installation. They also walked me through the installation and explained everything to me before I paid.

Awesome! Chrissie initially did the in-home assessment. She knows her stuff and has a wonderful personality. She searched for every "deal" possible to get us the best price. On the day of the install, three crews showed up. While I didn't get everyone's' name, all involved were professional, courteous and kept us informed throughout the day. After the install was completed, they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. Overall, this was a great experience working with people of integrity.
Description of Work: Replaced entire AC unit and added zoning for a two story home. Also added mini-split unit to garage workshop.

He gave me some extra tips on how I could help with the air quality in the house. I do dog rescues. Excellent. Just fine. I would recommend them. Honest, good price.
