Mark Ondras Plumbing

Great company. Have used Mark's plumbing before and never disappoints. I don't use other plumbers so I'm not sure how good his prices are but I definitely don't feel like I'm getting ripped off. As with any service provider like this, they aren't going to show up at exactly the time they offer, given that things never seem to go as planned on other jobs. His crew does at least show up within a reasonable time frame. Will continue to use his services.

Mark did an excellent job fixing the kitchen drain that was not draining well, he replaced the corroded pipe that was leaking water, he also replaced the kitchen trap that was old and clogged up and installed a new kitchen faucet that we purchased. Mark has been our plumber for almost 15 years, he has done several plumbing work, installed water heaters and clear out.. He does excellent work, very responsive to our questions, punctual and lets us know if he is running late. Once we had an emergency, he was there in less than an hour. His prompt response prevented a major problem from getting worse. I've referred him to several friends, neighbors, coworkers and family.

I called Mark around 8:00 and he had a plumber at my house within an hour. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He took care of the problem quickly and was on his way. This is my first time using this business, but I will definitely call whenever issues come up. I have already recommended him to two of my friends.

He has done work for me before. Everyone loves mark. He does a great job. Experienced, and has a great crew. Reasonably priced.

He is very good. I used him extensively to do a lot of plumbing work. He did an awesome job. He is one of the best plumbers that I have worked with. I used him in our old house and I used him in our new house. I used him quite a bit. I have paid him overall $2000 to $3000.

Upopn returning from Holiday Vacation,discovered that main drain was plugged. Called Mark Ondras Plumbing at 8:30 AM and made an10:30 appontment. Mark arrived on time and had the drain unplugged in short order. We were very impressed with his price, punctualality, professionalism, and quality of work. I would definitely call Mark again if we had a plumbing problem and highly recommend his service to friends and family and anyone with a plumbing problem

My bathtub would not drain. I called Mark Ondras plumbing, committed to coming between 3 and 4PM. At 3:15, plumber arrived. The issue was not with a clogged drain but with the trip lever. Not only did not charge me but explained how to perform the repair.

Very pleased with the work performed by Mark Ondras at our home. He completed the work requested on schedule and on budget. Does great work and is very honest and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We have an older home (50 y.o.) with many old pipes. We had a very slow drain in one lavatory that needed help. Ondras was able to "drill" it out so that it now flows better than ever. He had to take apart the trap and some other parts for access. He replaced those with better parts than we had before. We also asked him to clear out our main drain because we have a root problem that requires a clearing about twice each year. Normally The Drain Doctor just goes "downstream". Ondras went downstream and upstream while he was in there. All of this cost less than The Drain Doctor would charge for one cleaning. He was at our house for more than 2 hours, and parts for only $179. We also have a leak at our water meter in front. He took a look at it and suggested that we have the city look at it first.

Mark scheduled the repair and installation, and Doug came out to do the work. He recommended a different trim kit from the one we had purchased and sold it to us on the spot. It was actually cheaper than the one we bought at Lowe's. He worked quickly and had the toilet installed in an hour. In order to remove the old shower arm and trim kit, he had to remove some tiles, so he could not complete the job on the same day. Doug recommended a tile repairman and returned after the tile was replaced. He finished the job in about an hour, and we were not charged anything extra for the 2nd trip. Also, he replaced an aerator in the sink faucet at no cost. We were very satisfied once again with the results. This was our 3rd time using this plumber.

They did a really great job. They were almost half the price of what Baker Brothers was charging. They diagnosed everything well. Everything was well done. They explained it all. They worked it all. They diagnosed it properly and they did repair work. They're only, I believe 85 an hour which is surprisingly cheaper plumbers which I didn't know that but something I think that was where the work was costing me. So, they didn't take it that long and they did it pretty quickly and efficiently.

Sunday morning, we discovered that our toilet was overflowing. I tried to clear the clog with a plunger, but was unsuccessful. Since I has just joined Angie's List, I began a search.....hoping to find someone who worked on Sunday. I noticed that Mark Ondras Plumbing had excellent reviews and served the Bedford area. I called the number and spoke with Mark himself! Mark informed me that they had a man in the area who could be at my home in an hour. Within an hour, Austin our technician, arrived at our home. I found him to be very personable to interact with and very knowledgeable about his craft. He quickly diagnosed the issue and solved the problem in a professional manner. My cost for these services was very reasonable (no extra charge for weekend work!) and I am an extremely satisfied customer! Thank you, Mark and Austin....job well done.....

I obtained four bids. Mark was the only provider to give me an itemized bid showing the cost of each line item: new water heater, WAGS valve, labor, overflow pan. Not only did I receive a detailed estimate, Mark's estimate was better by hundreds of dollars compared to the next lowest estimate. Mark took the time to discuss the difference between a WAGS valve and a FloodStop sensor, so that I could make an informed decision about which was better for me. He also answered my questions about drains and differences between various water heaters. Mark and his apprentice were very professional. They arrived on time, had everything that they needed and got everything done quickly and efficiently. Follow-up was consistent to ensure that a city building inspector could come by and sign off on the installation.

Mark showed up on time and quickly installed the new faucet. Since he was already here, I told him that since our home is a really old one, it had no clean-out valve in case we have sewer line blockage. He said his crew could do it and he quoted me a very reasonable price. His crew, Austin and Al, showed up and began working immediately. They came in the afternoon when it was so, so hot, and I felt really bad that they were out in that heat! But they never let up and stayed with it until the job was complete. This company is great, professional and Mark is wonderful about answering calls, or if he is on a job, he always calls back soon after. I am so very pleased with all of them, and Mark seems like such a down to earth person who is easy to communicate with. If you are going to have work done, I highly recommend that you get a quote from Mark before you make your selection. Meet him, talk to him, and I think you will like him as much as we do. We will always go back to him in the future if we need his services. Thanks Mark for the great work you and your crew did!

He is the best. We love him. He's so down to earth. He'll answer your question. He takes the time. That's our plumber. We never have any complaints and issues. He's quick to call you back. He's quick to respond. If I have anything that needs to be done, he's my first call.

Originally thought it would require to tear down the wall and create an access panel. Fortunately he noticed it was an easy fix and did not require a lot. The venting for the water heater was was easy and only required a longer pipe. He gave me a discount since the job was not too much work. I plan to use him again because I felt he ran an honest business.

Doug (technician) arrived early in the service window given when the appointment was scheduled. The removal of the old faucet and installation of the new faucet took about an hour. Doug was polite, knowledgable and did quality work. I would definitely recommend this company and will call them for service when needed in the future.

Mark Ondras Plumbing sent out James. He arrived promptly and as scheduled; in fact he was a little ahead of schedule. James did a few preliminary tests because we weren't quite certain at first if the issues were primarily clothes washer appliance- related, or plumbing related, because the only thing to give symptoms was flooding/backup of extraction water. This was only showing itself at the HE front loading washer located in the garage; the flood water showed up both on the garage floor and upstream, across the sillplates, and into the adjacent room's (kitchen) floor. There had been no other pipes/plumbing/tub/sink/toilet symptoms, only at the washer & only seemed to be during the extraction cycle. James went about his tasks without any fuss or needing anything from me, which was a good thing because he arrived just when someone else arrived that had committed to help with other chaos. I could not be directing things in two different places/workers at the same time due to complicated circumstances. James was very respectful and kind especially considering all the challenges involved with what all was happening, or rather, not happening here, to move other, non-plumbing stalled projects forward. Yes, the charges are steep for those of us on small, fixed incomes, but at least for now it seems to have solved the immediate problem, and it was a less expensive charge than had it been the clothes washer source AGAIN. Only a few months ago, barely past warranty period (of course) and required another $580 1-part repair!!! I would call on James w/Mark Ondras Plumbing again. Because he was knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, [i.e. professional] and solved the problem correctly, and the first time, thus not requiring me to locate, schedule, and wait for yet another specialty contractor make a trip, a charge, and still not be the solution. Much appreciated!

Excellent service! Our kitchen sink was clogged and had to call them on a Sunday. Called in the morning and they were able to send someone out around 1:00. Austin arrived and took care of the problem, explaining what needed to be done. Fair price for professional and expedient service! Just moved into Irving and have found our go-to plumber!
