David Votava was my contact with the company. I highly recommend his services. He is very knowledgeable and helped me make the right choices for my needs. He is very hands on and actually did much of the work and particularly the finishing work on my siding. He doesn't just sell you the service and disappear like other companies do. He is very hands on and extremely available and responsive. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. We had a couple of hiccups with the window installation, and David was on it and made sure everything was fixed to my satisfaction. He did such a good job my neighbor is now using him. A+++

Angie's List contacted me to write a review after they noted I had emailed the service provider. No one from Jon Wright Industries responded to my inquiry so I am giving them an "F" for responsiveness. However, I'm not that upset with this service provider (there are enough roofing companies in the DFW area) so gave them a "C" as an overall rating.

I would definitely continue to use this company. Even after they did my very first job the owner left a message checking on the work that was done and this has been a really good experience for me with this company. They are all very professional and take care of business. It is refreshing to get a company like this!

It went alright! Because there were so many individual projects it has taken a long time from start to finish. Jesse Salazar was my project coordinator and he did a great job keeping most of the projects on schedule. There were hiccups, which does make things frustrating at times, but considering all of the work done was weather related and weather can affect project start times or even delay projects days I felt he did do a good job with keeping me informed. When someone didn't show up, I would text him and he'd have an answer within 30 mins. The invoicing process is confusing to me, I really didn't have a full grasp of what was being paid by me, or by the insurance company. Also equally confusing was supplements and permits, seems like those things would be standard and covered in quotes too. Overall I feel that I paid a fair amount and the insurance paid their fair amount for the work that was completed.

They went above and beyond and we are grateful that we ended up with a good company.

He was a really nice guy. He was awesome. It was a roof repair and near event. He was a straightforward and upfront. He was perfect. He was honest. He was helpful. He was great on price. He did not try to take advantage. He was great.

Dave Votava was our Project Manager and he listened carefully to our expectations for the finished results. His design reflected exactly what we wanted and he made sure the work crew implemented that design. Dave did a great job of turning our expectations into a beautiful finished product. We are thrilled with the results of this project; we are already in the planning stage of our next project with Dave.

We worked with Scott Craig as our Project Manager. He was helpful and informative. The entire experience was great from start to finish. They showed up on time and finished the work when they said they would. I'm extremely happy with the work and the overall experience with this company. Their price was a bit higher than their competitors, but not unreasonable for the work that needed to be done and in my experience, you get what you pay for. They found things that our insurance adjuster did not initially include in the claim and we were able to get the cost of full repairs covered by insurance (less our deductible).

Had a hail damage at Mckinney. Mr Ben Black was sent to verify. Initially it was good and the guy came to check and also came at the time of insurance inspector. Provided me with the estimate. Since it was the insurance claim, there was nothing to negotiate. But since I was coming through Angies list and was kind of a repeat customer (For a minor work done satisfactorily some time ago), I asked to include a siding repair as well. The issues I had:- 1) Mr Ben spoke so much that it was almost annoying. 2) He kept on reminding that I have to pay deductible and how a woman lost her house because she did not pay her deductible. And for information, I never asked him to. He was just being judgmental by my ethnicity I am guessing. 3) He sent me the estimate and then despite my two texts and one email, never called me back. 4) After two weeks or so, I called the office and the lady said that she will find some one else. It has been almost a week and no response yet. In short, my concern is lack of response which in turn shows lack of professionalism. If you do not want to negotiate, let me know but at least dont leave the topic open. What a waste of my time as well as your own. I think the company in general should be good but it is just the individual who had issues.

Very well. Some of the repairs were fairly extensive and required a lot of time in harsh conditions with the weather. Repairs were well done.

He was responsive. He showed up, he had to go out of town, so he couldn't really come within the time frame that I needed. I was on a short time frame because I was trying to close on a house. He was responsive. He gave me as much information as he could with what he had, I appreciated that. He did that much for me, but I did not use him for the actual work. He did not charge me for the estimate. It was just a rough estimate. I assume it was just an approximate. It was just so I had an idea of what to look for. It was more than some of the other quotes that I got later. I didn't end up going with him because, to be honest, I needed some information, and I just went to Angie's List to find someone who could go out to the house within the time frame. He's the one who actually contacted me back within that time frame. Afterwards, I had more time to do more research and have people come out, but he was not available at that time. So I was trying to get a closing done and they gave me 5 days to come back with whatever issues that I had with the house and I needed somebody really quickly. He was responsive, he came out, he gave me a good rough estimate, so I knew what I was getting into. After I got the house and all that was settled, then I went out and got a couple of estimates, and those estimates were lower than the rough estimate that he gave me. I don't want to give him a bad review because he didn't do any real work but he did help me out and I appreciate that.

The work was excellent. Highly recommend.

The work was performed on schedule and the quality was excellent. Scott Craig was our project manager. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various roofing products. He made very helpful recommendations but didn't try to up sell us on anything. He even recommended against some more expensive options as a not necessary when I inquired about them. The crew was very professional. They cleaned up each evening and put the materials out of the way. I found no nails on my driveway or walks and I had zero debris in my pool. The roof looks great and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Chimney had a large amount of wood rot and needed to be repaired. Previous estimate from another company, without getting on the roof to inspect, was 2,300 for a complete replacement. Jose came for the estimate, actually inspected the chimney, and discovered the siding was, but the wood rot was throughout the trim. Wood rot was removed, replaced, painted to match, and sealed. All on the same day as the estimate.

David V. was our sales rep. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was quick to return our calls if he missed them. The crews that came out were prompt, friendly, and answered questions we had. They cleaned up everything after they left. We had siding and gutters replaced all around the house. It looks great and we are very pleased. We are looking to have the roof and windows replaced in the future and will be calling on Jon Wright Industries to do the job.

The project went perfectly. Ken Dunn, Victoria Salazar, and their team punctual, professional, and very careful to protect landscaping, pool area, and existing guttering. The crew did a masterful job installing the best roofing materials you can buy. The GAF golden pledge warranty is the best in the business and is transferrable to a buyer of our home when we go to sell. Jon Wright has been doing quality roofing work for over 30 years and Anne and I strongly recommend them. Their work was exemplary.

Absolutely high quality! Jesse Salazar was the project manager. Honest people, very competent, fair, thorough. I had obtained evaluations from other roofing companies and Jon Wright Industries, Jesse Salazar were the ones I could tell were absolutely honest and experienced. Jesse obviously knew his roofing business, knew insurance processes, and also could coordinate the other items needed such as fence painting. It helped that I did not have to go through a separate company for each repair matter needed but could just turn it over to Jesse. In a prior hail year, the roofer that year had done a quick and easy job, and Jesse spotted that and got things back to high quality. It really pays to get experienced, honest, motivated people, and add on the fact that they can do all the repairs needed instead of having to deal with separate companies--I was very glad to locate this company.

This Roofing Job was my first. I was in good hands. Ken Dunn, Sr. Project Manager, was very professional and knowledgeable. He was willing to spend time with me explaining all of the details of a quality roof and offer me the choices of quality materials that I needed. There were never any high-pressure tactics. The install team and Supervisors were excellent and the job was amazingly quiet with only hammers used and workers were busy and focused. Ken Dunn made sure that my attic ventilation improved and I added several Solar fans instead of the static Turbines. They also added additional soffit vents. To improve water management around my chimneys, we added Crickets (chimney to roof diverters.) Jose did a great job on these carpentry details. There were no details left unaddressed. I can't imagine having any other company do my roof in the future or for my other homes. Thank-you Ken Dunn, and Jon Wright Industries!

This is a long story but I'll just hit the Peaks.. My insurance company claimed my roof was a total loss from a hail storm. They originally gave me $11,000 to replace it.. I found many roofing companies that would have done it for exactly the amount that my insurance company specified and been on down the road. Scott Craig along with the Jon Wright team where the only ones that looked closer to see the true story when things didn't add up with their inspection. They stood toe-to-toe with me and my insurance company to point out oversight's and worked to resolve. After all was said and done, the final total was over $30K. They went far above and beyond! Excellent attention to detail throughout the whole organization. I would highly recommend them to anyone.. especially Scott Craig.

The project manager was at our home prior to the materials delivery, made sure that we would not have any blocked in vehicles, pets were kept inside, they had requested that we turn off our sprinkler system a couple of days in advance, protected our outside HVAC unit, placed tarps on the ground to catch any errant debris, cleaned up the joist at the end of each day, didn't play loud music and were mindful of our neighbors. They were very pleasant, clean and professional. The price was fair and our insurance company said we had an excellent roofing crew. Afterwards they replaced our gutters, leaf guards and increased the downspout size. They completed the work without a hitch, on schedule and without a single complaint.

They did an excellent job, however it took longer than I expected to have everything completed.

Tremendous. It is very rare to work with someone who is knowledgeable and doesn't use their knowledge to cut corners and increase their profit at your expense. I worked with Benjamin Black and he took ample time to explain the various ways a contractor may go about replacing a roof and then proceeded to explain "the right way"!

I called Jon Wright Industries and the phone was answered by a pleasant woman. I described my interest in their $9,375 coupon, which she did not recognize. She said (unprompted by me) that someone would call within four hours and set up a time to do the estimate. It has now been 24 hours with no response. I guess I know what kind of service I can expect. Moving on to another contractor.
