This company did an excellent job and was very responsive from my initial call (after hours) when I was just expecting to leave a message and found the phone was forwarded to Jon Wright. The salesman Ryan was always punctual, helpful and kept me well informed. Both Ryan and Jon were very knowledgeable about attic ventilation which was very important to me and was high on the lists of reasons I chose them. Although my insurance company was covering a straight roof replacement due to hail damage, it was my choice to upgrade to Impact Resistant shingles and radiant barrier decking. This almost doubled the cost of the roof but part will be regained in an annual $500 reduction on home owner's insurance. Savings in cooling the house is unknown. It was fortunate that I chose this company since they are the only one who included increasing the size of the soffit vents as a part of the overall plan to improve ventilation. As it turned out the original builder had not even cut the vent holes through but had merely nailed up vent covers. They also increased the number of turbine vents on the house. I am not an easy customer to please and am very vocal if I do not feel that a vendor is performing well. I believe this is the first all A rating I've given to any company.

We set up a date to do the work and they showed up early and set up their equipment before they rang the doorbell. Jon started them off and periodically came by to let me know how the work was progressing. When they finished, the clean up job was very good; I didn't find any roofing nails or materials that would damage my car tires or lawnmower, and out of all the times I've had done roof work done, it's the only time I haven't. I will use Jon Wright again for any roof work in the future, and I am using him for some window replacement right now. (Good job!)

Well done. Required that the current roof material be removed where the roof meets the house, along with installation of flashing, resealing, and re-installation of the roof materials. All work was done in one day. We sensed that Jon and his crew were knowledgeable and experienced -- and we were very glad that it was not us climbing up on that extremely high steeply pitched roof. Work includes a two-year guarantee -- which gives us some extra confidence. Thanks.

I had a water leak over the garage and called a roofer out to fix that and was told that the entire roof was totaled due to old hail damage. I did a lot of research online and got a number of quotes and decided to hire Jon Wright based on many positive reviews plus their Master Elite status with GAF. I was able to get the insurance company to cover the hail damage but had to spend the extra to upgrade to lifetime (50yr) shingles (HOA requirement). Jon Wright didn't cost much more than other roofers for the same shingles but since they are a GAF Master Elite roofer, they were able to provide me with the GAF Golden Pledge warranty which even covers workmanship and materials and labor for 20-years non-proprated (in addition to the normal prorated warranty). This involves an independent inspection after the job is done by a GAF rep so the manufacturer themselves can warranty the workmanship, etc. I would definitely recommend Jon Wright Roofing. You can be confident they will do a good job with your roof. I worked with Ryan Scott who was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I also spoke and met with Jon Wright who was also great to work with and a very interesting guy to chat with about all kinds of subjects - roofing and otherwise.

They were awesome. They called and said they would be here at a certain time and that's when they came. They called me the same day about the estimate and repairs and the guy was able to make the repairs that same day. Him taking the initiative to look at other things and noticing what else might be a problem was great.

The representative, Ryan Scott, kept me well informed every step of the way with when they would come, what they would do, how he determined attic ventilation requirements, what products he would recommend and why and what to expect during the whole process. The workers were on time, quick, efficient, and friendly. Nothing was broken. Everything was cleaned up after the job. I loved working with Ryan and his crew. I am recommending this company to all of my friends and neighbors.

Towards the end of the project, it took a while to get them to come back out and finish (due to rain and backlog of work from hail storm). Could have been a little tidier, still find nails every now and then. Other than that, we felt Jon gave us the best price and most knowledgeable estimate. The roof we were repairing was a very unique situation since it was built improperly by the previous home owner. Jon has done a lot of work for other friends in Irving, including my neighbors on more than one occasion and my sister, and came highly recommended. Only estimate received that I felt had knowledge and experience behind it. I plan to use him for windows and siding when the time comes.

It went real well. He got the job done. Ninety five percent good on the clean up.

They came out a little late. I expected this, because of the widespread damage to all the homes in the area. After completion of the roof, they left a few shingles over my yard. Worse, though, were nails and screws everywhere. I went and bought a magnet to clean everything up. I ended up finding about a bucket of nails and screws. I'm lucky I didn't get any nails in my tires. He had to send out a guy twice to fix problems left behind. First, a month after the roof, I found a leak through the roof onto my water heater (causing rust on the exhaust tube from the heater to the roof). Then 8 months later, one of the turbines was not installed properly. It was extremely noisy with even the slightest breeze. This also led to leaks in my attic. Both visits took at least a week before they came out to repair. Hopefully I am good to go now.
