The owner, Jose Marquez, began wiring our home while it was under construction for a Control4 home automation system - along with all the audiovisual equipment, we purchased outdoor camera's, security system and surround music.  We moved into our home in September and as of this writing the system is still not working completely. He would make appointments to complete the work and either didn't come or came sometimes hours after the scheduled appointment time, stayed long enough to patch up something to work and then would disappear again for weeks. He couldn't even wire the dimmer switches correctly, although he claimed to have an electrician install them.  He left boxes, wiring and trash laying around after every visit to our home.  He was never able to explain the system or make it user friendly.  One time when the system went down he said - "Oh, you need to update the software - here is the website you need to download so you can get updates."  And we would know to do this how???  He never explained anything.  It would seem to us that the system should have been setup to do automatic updates. The builder even spent an entire day here with Jose and his employees and they could not get the work completed and the system working.  He claimed the receiver failed for the second time and it would have to be replaced.  He said it would ship overnight.  Several weeks went by and he never called or returned calls.  I finally called Control4 home office and they indicated Custom Sound and Security had cancelled Jose's license to be able to sell or install their system in November.  Our builder has been working with Control4 to find a reputable company to finish the job and make sure things have been installed correctly.  In the mean time, we are left with a very expensive system that doesn't work correctly, missing equipment that we have paid for and his ladder and spools of wires and cable in our yard.  I am writing this review, although I can't believe the company will be in business much longer anyway.
