Everything turned out okay. Chuck provided a print out of his whole evaluation and was very professional. Getting the appointment set up was pretty easy as well. He did not do any work. I switched out my kitchen lights to more energy efficient lights because of the report. I was overall pleased with the service.

He came out and in five minutes sealed up the windows and ran a pressure test to look for more trouble areas. He was in and out in about 20-30 minutes. The brought in this fan that pulls the air out of your house and take measurements in your home. This is supposed to let you know how tight the house is. I was informed I was within the limits with good sealing. We have a patio door that was not sealed well and I thought they were going to seal that as well, but they told us they do not service patio doors. They sealed the windows and front storm door. I spoke with Chuck while the workers were working and he was very informative. I thought with the energy inspection that they would do more inspection around the home. I found that they check mostly windows where I thought it was a whole house inspection. I just I would get more out of the deal.

They tested the breathability of my home. In addition, they replaced the weather stripping on 3 doors and caulked 20 windows. I'm so pleased with their service. Such a value for my money!

Very personable, gave helpful suggestions, Including NOT to consider spending money on new windows :-). Discussed how to do some additional energy saving items myself. We will use them again when we decide to install radiant barrier.

Update: Chuck Hart offered to some out and seal the registers properly. Although I had already sealed them myself, I did ask his assistant RL to come back out and refit two of my exterior doors. The doors had shifted for a couple of different reasons and they were not at all obligated to fix the problem, however RL did come back out and he used high quality Astragal weatherstrips so both doors seal very well now. I am very pleased with Chuck Hart's willingness resolve the issues and to take care of something he was not really responsible for, so I have upgraded me rating from a "C" to an "A". The Good: They were polite and answered most of my questions. They were willing to communicate and resolve the problems that occurred. The Bad: They only sealed around the outside of the a/c registers not the gap between the sheetrock and register where the real leaks occur. They were in a hurry and did not seal all the outlets. I found sticky mastik sealer on my carpet in the hallway. They had to return because there were still leaks around my a/c plenum.

Very friendly and courteous. Arrived at time stated for estimate and project. Job completed in timely manner as promised and great follow up to ensure everything was working properly and that we were satisfied. Would use again and also would recommend.

I could not be HAPPIER, they did a fantastic job, explained every aspect of the process, answered all of my questions with honest answers, AND explained to me the benefit of each aspect of making my home more energy efficient. I thought there prices were fair, upfront, and reasonable. They can't promise me how much I will save on my electric bill, but I can tell you this, the heater/AC turns on less often now and all of the rooms are all the same temperature now. I personally was most concerned about saving money every month on my electric bill, but having the rooms all the same temperature is nice too. I recommend these people to my friends, family, and co-workers, they are worth every penny. This is for sure an investment that will pay for it self over the years.
