EXCELLENT! These guys were fantastic and will now be "my tree guys" in my rolodex. I felt like they listened to my needs, communicated very well and did a great job. The property looks completely different now and my trees look happy and healthy.

We were under the gun because we were having concrete poured the next day and a stump was in our way. We called and explained the time table and Donnie said he would come immediately. His quote was great and had the job done within two hours of the initial call. Definitely a guy you would want to hire. He then gave me a great quote for some other tree services that we will be using later on.

Another success story for Angie's List and Burris Tree Service. We called Donny based on the reviews, and were delighted with the service. He was prompt and the results were good. He and his crew were easy to work with and professional.

I was very pleased with them from first contact to last. Since he cut the tree down Friday morning, city brush service picked up same day. It worked out perfectly and I was very pleased overall.

Excellent experience. Same day quote and work was completed two days later. Price was competitive versus the other quote I received. Donnie has a large stump grinder and removed stump and all the protruding roots, i.e. right equipment for job! At the last minute also had him grind roots in front yard. He was careful not to endanger health of tree. Good job with clean up and moved my patio furniture back to original location.

Good experience from the first contact for a quote through the last branch put through the chipper. Donnie Burris was very responsive when I called to schedule a quote. When offering the quote he asked specifically what our goal was, just a light trim or more heavy. We said we needed a lot thinned out to open up more light for our lawn. He knew just what was called for and offered a reasonable price - which included haul off. (He offered to bundle branches on the curb for city bulky trash day as first option to save us money - but we opted to pay extra to haul off.) Once we agreed to the quote he scheduled us right away next day. The crew showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. Donnie was also very communicative through the whole process. End result - just what we wanted. Beautifully done, lots of sky showing now, and branches up off of the roof. These guys know what they are doing.

Donnie and his team (Erik) were great and I would of course hire them again. Only snafu was that I was not there during the work and they missed a few branches. . . Needless to say they came back ASAP to fix and get anything else that I needed. A+

Donnie and his crew were excellent! They worked hard the entire time they were at our home and left the yard looking great after they cleaned up the debris. We even sent them up the hill to our parent's home so that they could get their trees trimmed and they took care of them for a very reasonable price. Overall, we had several tree companies give us estimates, but Burris Tree Service provided us the most for our money.

After calling several tree services to receive a quote to have the work done, only to have them fail to show up or return my phone call. I called Burris tree service and received a reasonable quote the very same day. We set a day to have the work done, in which workers showed up promptly and completed the job in a very timely and professional manner.

Did a great job trimming 5 trees for me. The work was done efficiently and the clean up afterwards was great. Would recommend the service to others.

Had 3 estimates from Angies list contractors. The one whose slogan is "putting the axe to high prices" was over 3 times higher. The 2nd company, with a national affiliation, degree and a certified arborist, came in at a price that I had estimated would be absolutely fair for the amount of work I needed to have done and would have gotten the job if I hadn't already contacted Burris for a quote. At 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the competitors, I really had no alternative but to give Burris a shot at it. The one difference is Burris piled the cuttings on the curb for the city to pick up instead of hauling everything off included in the other 2 quotes. With a savings of $1300 over one of them and a whopping $3,400 over the other, I can deal with the brush on the curb for 4-5 days for a service from the city I already pay for. I think that was the biggest pile of brush I've ever seen on a curb. Sitting on the front porch, I couldn't see 2 of the houses across the street. The only negatives, one tree still has a some small dead limbs in it and the stump grinding left a 6-8" deep 10' diameter pile of saw dust on the ground that I'll need to have my yard man clean up. Not sure yet how deep the stump was ground down since that pile is still to be removed. Overall, for the price compared to what I've been spending once evey couple of years, I have zero complaint. I will call Burris the next time I need tree trimming or removal done and I suggest you do yourself a favor and at least get a price for comparison before you go ahead with another service.

Donnie and his crew did a great job of removing a large cottonwood tree, grinding the stump and cleanup. I have used Burris Tree Service before and will do so again if I need tree services.

After about 5 places failed to return my calls or email, I thankfully found (Donnie) Burris Tree Service! Donnie came out to give an estimate and got me on the schedule super fast. The whole crew was great, friendly, liked my dogs! The trees look awesome, no more branches scraping the chimney and they cleaned up better than it looked when they got there! I plan to stick with them whenever I need this stuff done.

I needed a large number of trees trimmed away from my roof. Donie and his crew did a wonderful job with this and cleaned up everything afterward. The price was quite reasonable. I was completely satisfied with this company and will certainly be using them again for my tree work.

Donnie and his crew did an superb job trimming of the limbs. They also made sure that the tree still had enough limbs so that the overall look was balanced!

Donnie and his team were quick and efficient. Did a bang-up job on my trees and hauled away all the trimmings. I found nary a leaf left over on the ground from the haul.

Medium sized job trimming approximately six trees along fence line, driveway, and in front yard with brush and debris placed on curb. Work crew was punctual and professional and completed the work in approximately three hours. Make note that only checks (or cash) are accepted as payment. Overall a positive experience and I will definitely use them again.

Excellent! I was contacted 10 minutes after my Angie's List note, on Sunday afternoon no less. Same day estimate, work done on Tuesday , clean up great and the job was expertly performed. We'll hire these guys again in a heart beat!

This job was completed with no problems. Donnie Burris the business owner was very responsive and provided good communication throughout the job. His crew showed up at the date and time promised and did a good job of trimming a couple of trees and removing some tree branches that had fallen due to a bad storm. His crew also did a good job of cleaning up all the debris.

I got the service scheduled within a very reasonable time. They arrived on time and got right to work. The crew worked hard without any goofing around. They were very professional, and courteous.
