We were in the process of selling a rental home when the lady that lived there called to let me know that sewage had backed up into the kitchen sink. I first called Mesquite Plumbing early on Thursday (9/12) morning to come out and they said they would be out there by noon and would call if an earlier appointment cancelled. Long story short they didn't show up at the appointed time and called after 6 pm to say they were on their way, I told the guy that they were too late and I had already driven back my house which is a 45 minute to an hour drive from Mesquite. I then called Jose Mendez Plumbing who was highly recommended by a friend and Jose said he could come either early Friday or Saturday afternoon. I chose to meet him on Saturday since I had to work on Friday and didn't have the time to meet Jose. Jose met me at the house on Saturday morning and worked to clear the problem. The kitchen sink seemed to be draining ok so I paid Jose and he left. I had scheduled cleaners to come clean the house and carpets on Tuesday 9/17 so that the house would be clean before the buyers did the final walk thru the following day on Wednesday 9/18. On Tuesday the cleaning crew started on the second floor and when they made their way down to first floor they noticed that the kitchen sink had backed up again with sewage. I was informed by my agent at 5 pm that we still had a problem so I called Jose and explained the situation to him. At first Jose asked questions and then turned combative accusing the cleaning crew of clogging the pipe again (Really? I even offered to pay him but he refused). I was desperate so I called AAA Auger and they came thru when I needed them most. Juan from AAA Auger showed up about an hour after I called and he cleared the blockage. Juan showed me what was causing the problem and stated that the previous plumber didn't go far enough to clear the pipe completely. AAA Auger ended up being cheaper than Mendez Plumbing and did not charge extra for after hours emergency. I would definitely recommend AAA Auger and I would hire them again.

It's difficult to find a plumber with weekend hours but I called AAA Auger at 11:00 am on a Sunday. They answered and said that a plumber would be arriving within 3 hours. About 1 hour later they called again and said that the plumber would be there within 45 minutes. He actually arrived within 30 minutes. He put on booties before entering my house and repaired the faucets within 30 minutes. A handy man told me that the faucets would need to be replaced with tile removal to reach the plumbing but this was not necessary. He easily replaced the washers and fixed the leak. I was very satisfied and will definitely call them again.

Called AAA Auger at 8:30 am and a plumber arrived around 11:00 am, about 2 hours sooner than originally predicted. Customer service from AAA Auger is always great, and they called several times to keep me updated on when to expect a plumber. Isaiah arrived with a big smile on his face; he's been to my house before! He quickly identified my problem as being burnt out heating elements and told me exactly what it would cost to replace them. He also explained pros and cons of replacing the whole heater given its age and average life expectancy. I decided to repair the heater I have, and Isaiah quickly began working and finished within a couple of hours. He also answered all my questions fully and clearly, and even replaced the drain lever of my master tub, a little chore I'd been putting off. The folks at AAA Auger are consistently helpful and professional. They stand behind the quality of their work and don't quibble about following up when necessary. They also take customer service very seriously, calling before 5:00 pm that same day to make sure I was satisfied. I think that's worth a lot. This is my go-to plumber, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, quality plumbing work.

I will tell others about them. They are punctual and it is easy to work with their dispatch people. They came out several times and fixed my problem. They don't charge me and give free estimates. They do what they said they would do and back it up with a warranty and I actually used him and they came out for free. They were here at 11:00 clock on New Year's Eve on warranty work and it wasn't even their problem and they didn't charge me anything.

We called to have the water heater checked because a friend had his go out and it made us thinking that in the 12 years of living in the house, the water heater has never really been touched. AAA-Auger came out and looked it over. We were told that the unit was ending its useful lifespan and that we were basically living on borrowed time. I would expect anyone to say something like this to get a sale, but Daryl was thorough and took the time to explain technology today and how it has changed since the last water heater was installed. He pointed out all the gas and water connections that are no longer allowed and why they posed a leak or carbon monoxide risk. It turns out that one pipe had a prior leak and was only being held intact by mineral buildup over the years. He took the time to take some panels apart in the air handler unit next to the water heater to gain access to other areas and related connections and showed each item that concerned him. He basically said that several items he saw would not pass inspection today. Being that we had never touched the water heater, he recommended not draining it or doing anything with it because sediment build-up has likely compromised the drain valve and has built up enough at the bottom to make the unit heat very inefficiently. Daryl was unbelievably cheery, polite, professional and patient no matter what questions were thrown at him. We'll throw in another and quot;Pand quot; for punctual. In fact the dispatcher will call multiple times to give updates on their technicians if they are delayed at their prior job. Daryl gave us a detailed cost estimate of $2156 which included all labor and taxes so the final price was going to be the quoted price. A week later (today) he returned with all the needed materials and an apprentice. You should witness how detailed he trained the apprentice while not missing a beat or delaying the work needing to be done. That young man is in good hands. The work to be done was scheduled for about 1/2 a work day. It was completed in 5 hours' time and looks amazing. The final cost was less because one of the items listed in the quote was not needed after all and a $100 coupon was used (printed online). Use AAA-Auger. They work around the clock, don't charge for coming out. They are polite and fair and do very professional work.

Our kitchen drain/garbage disposal got clogged up at about 6:00 pm on a Sunday evening. I called AAA for help and they had Eugene (very friendly and very professional!!) at my home within less than 2 hours. Our problem was all fixed up very quickly. I've used AAA before and this experience was just as positive as the others. I will use them again!

On a cold sunday morning we woke up to a leaking pipe and a flooded master bathroom, we were in the middle of a family crisis so the timing couldn't have been worse. We called several plumbers but as it was Sunday morning it was difficult to find someone who could come immediately. AAA Auger was able to come out within an hour, they opened up the wall and found the leaky pipe. They had to spend a great deal of time under the house but they had our water back on within a few hours. We've used AAA Auger a few other times for other minor plumbing issues, they've always been able to come right out in an emergency.

Everything went perfect they even schedule and re-schedule the appointment with the city inspector for us. A little bit expensive but the job was done right!

Bill from AAA Auger was called out due to problems with both toilets in our home. Guest bath toilet needed a complete replacement (due to type of part) and the only supplier that had in stock was located in East Dallas. He fixed our other toilet, looked and refit a leaking hose bib, then went to another job in Dallas so he would be closer to the supplier. He returned in the afternoon to replace the guts of the toilet and the leaking shut-off valve. Bill was great and I highly recommend AAA Auger.

First called them at 5:30 AM. They said they would send someone as soon as they became available. They called me periodically to keep me informed on when they would arrive. They came about noon and the job was completed by 12:30. The plumber was very pleasant and polite and did a good job.

The experience was excellent. The plumber showed up within about 1-1/2 hours after I first called. The plumber as well as the customer service rep who took my call were both very friendly and professional. And the job itself was well done. This is actually the 2nd time AAA Auger has done service at my home. I will definitely call them again when we need service and I highly recommend them to everyone.

The plumbing repair was performed satisfactorily. Everything else was lacking... March 6th: Camera inspection identified the broken section in my sewer line. Original estimate provided Jan 23rd = $247.50 up to 50ft, but actual cost (with video cassette) = $287.50. $40 extra for 1 video cassette seems excessive but I accepted. Plumber (Dan) had the proper tools, seemed knowledgeable and meticulous and quickly located the exact site that needed to be excavated. Appointment available March 12th 9am. Estimated at $1472, included a written statement that a 5ft x 3ft hole will be made. Plumber also mentioned max 6 hours will be needed. March 8/9th: Utilities arrive, mark the lawn in orange and yellow paint/flags. March 11th: Plumber calls to reschedule appointment to March 13th. I said I won't be able to accommodate. So we keep the original appointment. March 12th: Plumber arrives on time at 9am. He started digging, carefully removing lawn and keeping it aside. His partner arrives an hour later, both continue digging for couple of hours. I hear sirens and a fire truck pulls up. Apparently the partner hit the gas line. I send my kids away with my parents as bathrooms are still out of decommission and I can smell gas. After a couple of hours Gas company arrives. They put in a temporary fix, then come back with a backhoe and dig up a hole 2-3 times the size of the original hole made by plumber and then replace the gas line. No attempt is made to save the lawn. In the process, the Gas company breaks my sprinkler line. Both plumber and gas company attempt to fix the sprinkler till 6pm. They leave but plumber informs me the sewer line has been repaired. A section of the the hole is left open to allow for city inspection, probably next day. March 13th: No activity. I call to inquire at end of day but person answering phone doesn't know the status. He asks me if inspector showed up. I tell him no one rang the door bell today and I wasn't told to look out for anyone. March 14th: No activity. I call to inquire at end of day but person answering phone asks me to call back in the morning to find out of repair passed inspection. Gas company shows up to finish fixing the sprinkler they broke. They tell my wife sewer inspection passed since they had seen a green tag earlier but it probably blew away in the wind. March 15th: My wife calls AAA Auger to inform them about what the gas company said. They say plumber will be coming to fill in the hole in a few minutes. I have a couple of coupons ($62) but I ask the plumber for additional discount due to: (a) Lawn all torn up now and I have to buy sod to replace the damage, (b) Hole much bigger than original estimate of 5ft x 3 ft (more like 2-3 times that size), (c) Time taken for job nearer to 10 hours than 6 hours, (d) Inconvenience and possible danger caused to me, my family and property. Plumber says no, he can only apply the coupons, the job was difficult and no discount. Also adds grass will grow back soon. Conclusion: So yes, sewer line seems to be working fine now. And yes, job was done within the estimated amount (except for $40 extra for 1 video cassette). But AAA Auger is seriously lacking in customer service and does not take responsibility for any accidental damage their employees may cause.

I recommend them to everyone. They came out on a Sunday that was mother's day. I call them on Saturday night and they came Sunday at no extra charge. They even offered a military discount and sent me a $100.00 check for being a veteran.

The plumber was a nice guy. I had a great experience and will use this company again in the future.

We had standing water on the side of our house. Called AAA to see if they could find a leak. They found the leak was from under the slab in the middle of the house. They determined it was a hot water leak. They did their best to get to the leak via a closet floor, where it would not damage tile, but could not reach it. Second attempt was through the pantry floor, then the wall, still could not reach it. They determined that they could reroute the pipe through the wall and ceiling, saving us more damage and this worked. They were so professional and tried so many things to do the best possible job with the least damage. Very nice plumber and apprentice, Daniel was the plumber. On Monday they came back as soon as the city had inspected and filled the floor holes with cement. I would definitely use them again

We had total drain blockage for the house and called them sometime after 6pm. Their ad says there is no additional charge for nighttime, weekends or holidays. We called a couple of other places before this and received approximate quotes over the phone. This company told us they would come out without a service fee, they would quote a price before beginning the work, and we could then decide if we wanted to proceed. The price was less than what other places quoted us, they arrived within an hour of the initial contact, they quickly completed the task, and even left us with a 30 day guarantee in case we have a repeated problem. Other companies told us it would be one-two days before they could come out, and then there would be a service fee if we didn't have them do the work. We will definitely call them again and refer others to them.

They did really good work. Over the years we’ve had a few plumbing issues come up with our home, and we would always call them. A challenge was presented by trees in our yard. But when they happened to damage one of our trees, they did compensate us for it.

Saul the dispatcher answered my call late Friday night which was great because I had called a few other companies previously and gotten answering machines or no answer. After I described my blocked sewer pipe to Saul he asked for my contact information and told me a technician would be over in approximately 30-45 minutes. Sure enough, one of their trucks showed up and Isreal, my technician inspected the pipe and gave me a quote before doing any work. It looked like a fair price so I agreed and Israel quickly started to work on augering out the blocked pipe via the cleanout access. Isreal was very professional, quick and competent which is everything I look for in a plumbing service. I can tell by the demeanor of the employees that this company places a high priority on providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend AAA Auger as they don't charge a fee for after hours work like other drain cleanout companies. I won't hesitate to call them again when the roots grow back in a couple of years.

I made the call on a Saturday afternoon. I explained I had gotten in over my head with a 46 year toilet and old plumbing with a cast iron pipe instead of PVC. I explained the problem including that bolts would need to be cut off in order to installl my new toilet. I asked the price and was told THEY HAVE NO TRIP CHARGE! AN ESTIMATE WOULD BE MADE WHEN THEY ARRIVE AND I COULD DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT TO ACCEPT THOSE CHARGES! My return call was in approx. 15 minutes telling me that a plumbing was on the way. Trisha arrived shortly. She told me the price would be 247 and that would be the cost no matter what problems she encountered. I accepted. Because our plumbing is 46 years old, the removal of the old bolts took a while. Then she had to hammer, pound, the old flange down to make it level. While she was here I asked how much she would charge to installl a second toilet if I removed the old one. (this was a 5 year old toilet). She charged 125 for the second. While we removed the second one, Trisha continued with the installation on the first. She did a great job. It was a bit of a puzzle piece but she took her time to figure out the best solution. I took advantage of the toilet vouchers that the city of Dallas was offering. The old toilets used 5-6 gallons per flush and the new ones use approx. 1 gallon. On the first try both toilets work perfectly. I will definitely use them again. Honesty in home repair is not often found. Actually having a "price book" was impressive. No guessing whether I am being taken or if it is an honest repair service. I recommend AAA Auger.

I would not use them again. I had used them about two years ago and the guy was really impressive. He busted his behind to try to clean up my drain line. He went to the kitchen side and unstopped it and only charged me $149. I asked him not to put the ladder against my roof edge because I didn't want him to break the roof overhang. He went around to the gutter side like I asked him. This time when I used them, the guys wouldn't listen to me. I told them that if they would go to the kitchen side and unstop it, it would work. Instead they went back and got a high-priced camera. That cost me $175. The problem was they could not find which way the kitchen line ran with that high-priced camera, which didn't make any sense to me. I talked to the dispatcher while they were gone and said if the guys would go up on the roof with the auger and go through the kitchen drain pipe, it would unstop. They finally did it and within about four minutes, it was unstopped. This had been going on for about three hours. I called AAA Auger and we worked out a deal and agreed on a refund of $150. I would never use them again. I heard that they get a commission and I don't like that.

They were on time and the price was fair. Things went great.
