Description of Work: They unblocked a toilet that we could not unclog with chemicals or force. After trying unsuccessfully with the metal snake thingy, they used a high-pressure plunger which pushed whatever had been flushed down by our grandson (smile) through to the septic tank. The toilet and septic system continue to function perfectly to this day. They provided us with their guarantee and information about their monthly retainer fee, along with pens, note pads, and refrigerator magnets bearing the company logo. The plumbers were courteous and professional. They didn't waste any time on the job. The service was a bit pricey, but it was much less than having to replace the toilet, which would have been the next option if they couldn't clear the clog.

Description of Work: We called them for several items: installing new faucets, fixing loose connections, and finding a leak in the Jacuzzi tube). The workers were abrupt, acted as though they did not want to do the work, and finally did a minor repair (took them less than 15 minutes) to a guest bathroom shower, and then went out and spent almost an hour in their truck writing up some estimates.

Description of Work: the name is familar, but I don't remember using them. I live in Portland and always try to use Portland people. If I used them, it was a long long time ago. I would need to know more information. If he worked for Ernest Lopez in the remodeling of our home, then that person did a great job. He would have been a sub contractor for Mr. Lopez, but I don't know the name of his business. Otherwise if someone else, I really can't you.

+ 1 moreWe first used this company when I needed to replace a faucet in my sink at another house. They were very good and also cleaned out some drains and checked for leaks. We signed up for their annual maintenance (something like $14.95 a month). This visit was that inspection. They cleaned out drains, checked for leaks, did some minor repairs, checked the hot water heater and such. After we had an electrical tune-up by our heating and cooling guy, A-1 came back to fix some minor issue that the electrician noticed (no charge). Overall worth the money to know that everything is flowing smoothly.

+ -1 moreWe haven’t had a good experience with them. They didn’t do what they said and it was very frustrating. They left a hole in our wall and gave us an exorbitant estimate. They cut a hole in our wall to prepare the estimate, but they never patched it. They were the home warranty contractors for this area and that’s why we contacted them. I won't use them again unless I can't get my regular provider to come out.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from them. They were supposed to come out to our house and fix a leak, and fix it all in one day.
