They examined the system, made a recommendations for possible solutions...by the end of the next day the entire system had been replaced. My house was built in 2000 and the system was original. I knew with the changes in coolant - my system would have to replaced in time. (Actually it was a earlier than I had hoped for). It was a great price, wonderful customer service. They provided information on this new coolant and the adjustments that might be needed. Within a few days after the actual installation...perfect. Great Job!

We had used ServiceTex previouisly to install a complete system at our residence. This time the air conditioning failed at our rental property. I called at 8AM the next day and explained what had happened and asked if there was any way to get a service tech that day. The person who answered explained they were in the process of scheduling the day's calls and she would call back with an appointment time. In fifteen minutes, she called back and said they definitely could be there today and she asked what time would be convenient for us. I asked if it could be after lunch to accommodate my scheduled and she agreed. She explained that the tech would call before starting to the house. That afternoon, I received the call from Andrew saying he was on his way and should be there in twenty minutes. He arrived as promised and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor. Because he was local, he was able to return to the shop and get the part in about twenty minutes. He quickly replaced the motor and the capacitor explaining that it was important that both be replaced at the same time. Once the motor was installed and running, he checked the compressor operation and cleaned the dirty coil fins to lower the operating pressures. We called ServiceTex because of the excellent service we received when they replaced the complete system at our house. Once again, they provided quick, reliable and cost-effective service. Andrew is personable and willing to explain the what and why of his recommendations.

we called American Home Shield (AHS) to schedule our fall preventative maintenance on our heating and a/c units. they assigned ServiceTEX, out of round rock to do the maintenance. don't remember who called who first, but we set up an appointment within a couple of days. we were told to call ServiceTEX the morning of the service to determine what time to expect the technician. we did that and they gave us a two hour window in which to expect the technician, and that he would call 30 minutes before his arrival. brian l. powell, the technician, was right on time and called before coming over. he helped us find the furnace filter which we hadn't been able to access prior to that, as it was inside the furnace under a door we couldn't get open. after that, brian went right to work. he found and repaired a problem with the a/c unit. all this was covered under the AHS preventative maintenance program that we purchased. brian was very helpful and informative. he set to work right away and did a thorough inspection of all aspects of our heating and cooling systems, including checking the temp. coming out of the vents inside the house. we were pleased with his service and wouldn't hesitate hiring ServiceTEX again.
