Electrical is expensive. Even a simple switch is almost $130. I only recommend getting a pro if you have absolutely no idea what to do behind a wall switch. That said, Salt was very easy to work with and gave the final price up front.

On time polite fixed the problem cleaned up after repair wore booties to protect the floor.

Ken and Jose were and knowledgeable and personable.

The repairman was able to replace the motor to my bathroom exhaust fan rather than install a whole new fan. I had never used this company before but would definitely do so in the future.

He got back to me very quickly, which I really appreciated. I had called other companies not through HomeAdvisor and never got a response, so I was really impressed with the prompt response I got from him. Also, he wasn't pushy, I felt like he was honest and gave us options which I really liked.

Technician showed up on time, completed the job in a timely manner. Will surely use them again when the need arises.

I called them to replace a chandelier and an electric switch. When on the phone, I asked them to give me a quote on the phone. The guy on the phone said each job is different and he can only give me a quote once he sees the job. I kept pushing him to at least give me an approximate quote or a price range but he said he needs to see the job. When the guy shows up at my home, he goes through a price sheet and gives me a quote of $700 !!!. He could have given me this quote on the phone if all he was going to do was to go thorough a price sheet. I politely told him this was out of my range and paid the $79. I feel that when I called them, they should have give me an approximate quote on the phone knowing that the job was replacing a chandelier. I paid them $79 for doing nothing....

I had two light switches relocated. I would use Salt again Pros: Ken was very capable and professional. He arrived at the scheduled time and did quality work. Cons: The price was on the high side and each visit requires a $79 service fee for showing up.. in addition to any work performed. Salt pushes to a $10/month membership to waive this seeing fee.

I requested a repair of a porch light fixture-I was told that the $79 was a trip fee & I was ok with that-HOWEVER, I was not ok with the sales pitch for home surge protection I did not request or need. The technician did not even look at the problem before I agreed to pay $92 additional for an installation of a light fixture-the fixture was already installed-the problem turned out to be a loose wire-$92 for a loose wire-my mistake for agreeing to pay before the job inspection. I will never use Home Advisor again

Project was actually restoring electricity to part of my house that had lost power. They found problem and corrected in all in one visit.

The two men that did the work were great. The cost was about 20% more than I expected. The customer must pay a $80 service charge to get an estimate.

The techs they sent out were professional and explained everything in great detail prior to beginning the approved job.
