Hired SLE for a ceiling fan installation. They were very professional, arrived on time, and did excellent work. Zak was great; After they arrived, I asked them to look into another issue that I plan to have resolved in the near future, and they wrote up a quote for me and e-mailed it to me. I'll definitely be calling them again when it's time to get this other issue taken care of or the next time I have electrical work that needs doing!

Wow! Called me very quickly to schedule service . Came the next day. Finished the job without leaving the job sight for parts thanks to bringing a big van stocked with everything they might need. We needed a patio ceiling fan installed, which was done right. We also needed our living room ceiling fan fixed--the lights work but the fan does not work! He took out the fan switch, took the wires out, stuck his screwdriver in the switch...and then he couldnt get the wires back in it!! Result: ceiling fan STILL not working! Was here about 2 hrs. and charged $250--too high, esp. for fan still broken!!

Pricing is much higher than some other companies for the same work. The office knew I needed a breaker replaced and assured me that all parts are on the service trucks so there is not a delay or waiting on parts. This simple 20 amp breakers was not on truck and it took an hour to go get the part.

Salt Light and Electric runs a customer friendly, state of the art business. The Email sent to us with a photo of whom to expect is a nice touch. I will reach out to Salt for my next lighting project.

Dishonest. My outdoor plugs where not working, I knew it was a GFI, I just couldn't find it. Went on home advisor and found SALT...I thought the electrician was nice, however, he goes in FIRST with high cost options, he's got a paper with pricing, he starts with service options that are in the $400's...all of this stuff he would need to do to identify the problem, I knew something was up as he should have started with the obvious, which was a GFI that was tripped in the laundry room. I hired another electrician who found it, he pushed the plug and done. Salt should NOT take advantage of customers, I'm so glad I went with my gut and brought someone else in, I would have been out hundreds of dollars if I didn't. Electricians there don't know how to start with the simple resolutions first, they want to do a complete overhaul of your electrical system and charge a fortune....for a tripped GFI. Horrible, and that slip of paper looks like a document from a car wash. (service offerings)...again, for a tripped GFI. They need to learn about GFI's and how they work.

Very professional and communicative, but $300 to replace a bathroom fan motor is outrageous. It s a $20 part.

I had a group of outlets that were not working. I loved that they sent an email with the name and a picture of the electrician before he arrived so I knew who to look for! Zak was on time, courteous, and very knowledgable. My only concern was the way the pricing worked. He could charge me to fix one outlet at a time at a higher price or to fix all outlets on the line upfront. I chose the price for all outlets and it ended up only being 2 outlets that had a problem. I didn't like that I had to make a choice up front instead of paying for what needed to be fixed at a decent rate.

James was a very personable and hard working person. We would hire him again.
