James was awesome. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it - a bad wire in the wall caused the entire room to lose current. James is a wonderful asset to the company. James had everything he needed to fix the problem in that nice work van. The company's policy of evaluation and then pricing was a little different. In the past, my electricians would charge by the hour and any parts they needed they would add to the bill. Salt first uses a service diagnostic fee arrangement that can range from $79 for diagnosing one switch to $315 for diagnosing more that one problem - it may go higher than that - good thing they will take what time it takes to find the problem with that fee. Then they have pricing for each fix instead of a cost for the time - this can be good especially if the repair is difficult and takes a lot of time. All in all I am glad I had the home's electrical checked because another person who worked on this home had left a few things very unsafe and James helped me make the home safe again. Everyone knows electric systems are important to maintain and check from time to time. Thanks Salt Electric for giving me peace of mind and a special thanks to James for his professionalism.

Their whole approach is presented in stages. They do a diagnostic of the problem (at a cost) then they analyze the findings (at a cost) then they present the problem and cost to fix. Then they fix the problem. The problem was a faulty breaker switch ($14 at Home Depot) that needed to be replaced. I gave the OK to replace. The final bill was $550. We were suckered by a lot of dishonest bullshit. Beware of Salt Light and Electric. Especially if you are a single mom, elderly, or a single female. They will mesmerize you with a load of bullshit.

James Sanchez and Tim were the most professional electricians I have seen in a long time. They were thorough at explaining things and also very respectful to the house. They cleaned up everything after the work and went even above and beyond to sweep up the garage and left it in better condition than when they had come in. Kudos to this great team!

Their process is deceitful. I showed them the problem with the circuit breaker switch and they ignored me. They then went through their process and diagnosed that the issue is that the circuit breaker switch needed to be replaced. No duh! This cost me $550. $550 for a $14 switch! Just Wow! Bunch of scammers!

The prices are criminal. They wanted $500 for a job that I payed $100 for.
