COLONIAL ROOFING

First let me say that the quality of the work was very good and ultimately, Colonial Roofing stood behind their work and I am very satisfied with the results. I believe that most of my problems were with the sales person that I worked with. Initially the sales person was very good although slow to return phone calls. The initial roofing job was done in two days and the crew did a great jod picking everything up when they were done. Approximately 9 months after the roof was put on we went on a vacation and when we returned we discovered that the ceiling in our 2nd floor bedroom had received significant water damage and one corner of the ceiling was sagging about a half inch. I contacted my sales person and he again was very slow to return my calls. Finally he came out but couldn't find the source of the problem. He said he would contact the office and get a repair person out to see what needed to be done. Nothing ever happened and I do not believe he ever followed up with anyone. After not hearing from him, I began to contact the office directly. First they sent a crew out to check the roof. They did not find anything specific and told me that it could have happened during a very heavy heavy rain storm (the one where we got 10" of rain in a very short time). However, they did recommend that some shingles be replaced as well as additional sheathing around the chimney. About 2 weeks later a crew came by and took care of that. then, nothing additional happened. After a couple of weeks I again called the office to see when someone would come over to look at the ceiling. Within a week, I heard from their painter (Carlos Cortez who came over to see what needed to be done. He then showed up a couple of days later and replaced the damaged part of the ceiling and repainted the ceiling. he did an excellent job - you can't even tell that any work had been done. All-in-all, it took about 4 months from the time I discovered the damage until it was finally repaired and it really shouldn't have taken that long but I am very staisfied with the result.

They did a good job. They handled all the insurance matters.

They were totally reliable. They kept their schedule exactly. They cleaned up completely. We were very satisfied with the service and the product.

They did an excellent job. They cleaned up everything very well, I didn t find any nails when they left and they hauled everything away. They worked really hard and showed up on time each day they were here. The roof looks nice and we are pleased with that. There have been no problems with the work that they did and they gave us excellent service.
