He does a thorough job but expensive, he works very fast.

OK except the hot water circulation changed unexpectedly. I believe it had something to do with the fact that the water heater was a little shorter than the one replaced though water holding capacity was the same 50 gal. It's hard to explain why that could have changed something but that was the only difference from before to after as far as everything else that worked before the change. Talking to other experts besides the plumbers they couldn't explain difference and even questioned the configuration of the original installation. Any I figured out a work around that allowed the system to work if slightly less efficiently.

I decided not to have them do the work and will be disregarding their other bids. If I can't trust them at the lowest level, I can't imagine the larger jobs would go well. They got their trip charge from me and that's the end of that. I will give them punctuality and professionalism though as he responded right away to my call and he got very serious when I joked about trying to find ways around city code.

I posted a description to several Angie's providers about what i saw in my kitchen and said it was 'pretty urgent.' There were suddenly hand-size water patches in a 2x3' area and i could push thru the ceiling with my finger. Within a couple hours (this was around 8pm), Jon called to hear about the details. He listened respectfully to my concerns and said he'd be out ASAP. When he arrived at the time promised, he immediately started looking for the source of the leak. He checked the bathroom water access points, a nearby radiator and the boiler pressure, always informing me of what he found and asking me about what I'd observed in the past. With all those possibilities, he asked if he could cut a hole where the large area of the kitchen water spots and ceiling weakness appeared. The ceiling was already quite damaged so i agreed. He found some old pipes that had probably been leaking for years whenever the toilet flushed. He tested it with me several times. The small drip was absorbed thru the wood, then the old plaster, the drywall and finally the SprayTex until everything was saturated. He replaced all the old plumbing in the toilet and showed me the parts in detail, explaining the defects. We're leaving the ceiling open for a month to be sure the leak is fixed. Throughout all, Jon was collaborative, focused and friendly. I would hire him again and recommend him to all!

Excellent! It was easy to schedule. I contacted them through the website. I've used American Eagle for other plumbing projects. Every time I get a quick response and it's very easy to schedule. Jon is upfront about pricing and does excellent work. I will use again.

I called late on a Friday and Jon and Josiah came out first thing Monday morning. They had everything they needed on the truck. After replacing the elbow joint, they recommended cleaning one of the drains leading to it, which they did. They were extremely professional. They'll be my first call for pluming needs.

Jon was responsive via email which I prefer. I know that many contractor types are not into email, but it is much easier for me than stepping out of a meeting and playing phone tag with someone. We were still trying to schedule something but he contacted me and asked if I was available for an opening they had that day (It was a holiday so I happened to have the day off). They arrived on schedule. They made a point to put on boot covers in my house. They looked at the work and gave me a quote quickly. One of the best things about this company is that they have a flat fee-based pricing system. They have different categories based on how complex the job is. My project was a "Level 2" so it was about $150 for each valve. This includes parts and labor. I have found over the years that businesses that charge for labor hours tend to land at very arbitrary fees. Projects can become very expensive very quickly. They finished the work but advised me that they discovered the main water shutoff valves were corroded and failing. He strongly advised me to replace those as without them I would have to rely on the city to turn off my water in the event of a water emergency or if I wanted to do work. This was at an additional cost but I decided to do it as I was aware of the problems this could cause. They were able to get the city out to turn off the water at the street shutoff and got the work done within an hour. They covered my floors with mats to protect them as they had to take frequent trips in and out of the house. All in all, I was very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of their work. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It went fabulously! Jon recommended someone for the tile, Island Tile, and we checked them out. There was initial bathroom work done that involved replacing some shower/bathtub pipes and installing a new faucet. He described everything in the process. Then we had to wait for Island Tile to have time to do the job. Jon was in close communication with them. When we had an issue with the pedestal sink I think Jon was more upset about it than I was. We had a simple miscommunication and that is understandable. They cleaned up every time and explained everything. I could not be more happy. My bathroom is now the best room in the house. I will have them on speed dial for the next plumbing problem and have already recommended them to others.

They managed to squeeze us into their schedule and arrived around 3:00 that same day. It took a little over an hour to install a new hot water heater and remove the old one. They were very efficient and friendly and did a good job. We were especially happy though that they were able to give us same day service. From what we could tell it doesn't look like we paid extra for the emergency visit.

The job went very well. The workmanship was professional and complete. They asked questions, offered suggestions and explained everything as they went along. The guy who completed the job was second to none. He was thorough, professional and worked very well in partnership with the owners plans. It was a great job and a great experience.

Jon and his team were great. In obtaining estimates, they were competitive to others but we liked Jon's straightforward, easy personality. Of course, unforseen problems arose as we have a 100+ year old house and Jon kept us well informed and laid out our options and what the price would be for everything. His team was great as well. Due to the length of the project, we felt comfortable in leaving them a house key to lock up and they always had everything locked and cleaned by the time we got home. They did a great job and we were beyond pleased with the level of expertise, customer service and professionalism everyone showed. We delayed in getting the final inspection set up (our fault as life got in the way) and Jon still remembered us and made himself available 8 months later to complete it as well as arrange it all for us and the required manometer testing that was required so that we didn't have to. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Eagle plumbing did an outstanding job, it was all completed in one afternoon. The result is Voila we now have hot water on demand (we wait only a few seconds before the hot water comes on). Eagle plumbing did a superb job and I would use them again without hesitation.

Jon was amazingly knowledgeable and responsive. He took the time to walk me through the project and set expectations in detail. He was great at estimating the length of the project and costs. He was great! I highly recommend this company.

They were prompt, very friendly and professional, as well as efficient. I was able to get on the schedule and have the work completely very quickly. I would highly recommend!

Jon was not the cheapest bid I received, but he provided a level of detail to his bid and explanation of work that exceeded the others. His extra effort to walk me through all aspects of bid and job was appreciated (lots of hand holding as this was a major project). He was able to finish 1.5 days faster than anticipated and quickly scheduled follow-up for finish plumbing. Provided reliable guidance on fixtures and maintenance. As a one-man shop, I always dealt with just Jon and knew from bid to finish was going to be consistent (and he was easy to reach).

Quick, neat, efficient. Also installed new shutoff valves. Answered the phone promptly, always a good sign. Removed the old, installed the new and cleaned up in less than 3 hours. Even helped move a bookshelf out of the way! Included pulling the building permit. I would not hesitate to use them again!
