Replaced a leaky outdoor faucet with a new one - cost was a bit extra because he had to access the pipes from indoors - but it went well and he was finished within an hour.

Excellent work. He was on time, did a perfect job and everything went well. I would recommend him to anyone.

The plumber did a great job. He went out of his way to solve a problem I had with a leaking faucet. The issue turned out to be more trouble than expected, but he did not charge me anything extra. American Eagle Plumbing appears to be an exception honest, reliable business.

Excellent all around. My main goal was to have my new kitchen faucet replaced. Jon Scheumann performed the work. I also asked him to check for things that and quot;should beand quot; done -- he found two and explained to me the benefits and costs to make those changes. I authorized both and he went right to work. He left the workspaces clean, too!

Called and arranged a date. I live out of town so my son handled the visit. Despite the terrible cold and working outdoors, he was on-time and even did a Facetime call with me to show me what he found and how he was going to repair it. Finished up in a couple of hours and have had no problems since.

On Dec.6th,2012 I used Angies list for American Plumbing whole house plumbing check for $29.00 also had them install a faucet in the bathroom.The plumber was very polite and neat did a very good job.We were very satified.

Well, this is embarrassing.....I waited a month to write the review and now I can't remember the technician's name. For the sake of this review, I'm going to call him and quot;Timand quot;. At any rate, he was great. I was a little worried about a whole house plumbing inspection. My house is pretty old and I've been pretty lucky with my head in the sand approach to the plumbing here. Tim called ahead to let me know he was on his way and then showed up right on time. I always appreciate that in case I have to move my dogs to another room. This wasn't a problem, anyway, as this guy didn't have a fear of dogs or an allergy to them. He carefully went through the house and then showed me all the things that could be improved. He wrote down in detail what needed changing (eventually) and gave estimates for those things. It's great to be able to plan ahead and budget for things like that. I appreciated him taking the time to do it. The only thing that was urgent was the water heater. We had known for some time that it wasn't really working up to it's former potential and Tim showed me all the corrosion that was built up. One of the pipes was so corroded, it was hardly even attached to the water heater. I have no idea how that didn't turn into a nightmare. While we were talking about it, I asked if a new one could be put in that day. Tim was really willing to work with my schedule and agreed to have one dropped off that same day for installation. While I'm never thrilled to have to spend a bunch of money on the house, I think we got a very fair/good deal and we couldn't have asked for a better scenario. I would also like to add that and quot;Timand quot;s personality was pretty great too. I've experienced some gruff or socially awkward service people; no big deal, they're not here to make new friends. It was very comfortable, though, having Tim in the house. Now we're living the good life. Our new water heater is GREAT! I forgot what it was like to take a shower that lasted for more than 5 minutes with hot water.

They did what they were supposed to do and they came when they were supposed to, so I have no complaints. They were fine and the quality was good.

The estimate of probable services was accurate, punctual for our appointment, service was very good!

Very punctual - almost a little too early :) Arrived as contractor was putting in new counter tops, and they worked well together to get the job done quickly.

Very professional and fast. More money than I was hoping to spend, but the owner was awesome and did give me a $25 Angies' List discount. We're hoping this fixes our leaking issues once and for all...our next water bill will be the guide. Very nice work!

He got there very quickly, and took care of the problem for me. He had to remove the toilet and clean out a clog, and then reinstall the toilet. He was very quick and efficient.

Fine, no complaints but again I never used their services.

It was okay. We bought the big deal because of other plumbing problems (the leaky shower). The shower was repaired although they couldn't guarantee that the repair would last- original parts for the shower were no longer available. It is still working fine as of now. I felt the company used the inspection as a chance to upsell some of their products- we have an old water heater and they would have liked to install a new one, but there was no hard sell- just an estimate of the cost. Overall we were satisfied.

As I said earlier it went very well and we were happy with his work, the price he charged, his courteousness and the end result. We won't hesitate to call him again for future needs and are happy that he is so close by.

Did not come prepared with an electric w. heater; had gas because assumed it would b gas. Had to reschedule and when he came back wanted to charge for second trip. Installed a 50 gallon when we discussed that a 40 gal. would work for us. 50 gal. Is more expensive but so is the extra hot water needed to heat. My husband was at home with him and said he was cordial.

Jon called to report he was running late due to snow storm(understandable). Installation was quick tho he had ME move some garage items (I'm 70 and disabled, so I called my grandson) bikes and tools. Then he charged me $80 for a new vent which he said was code but this is a new house and the old 3 inch one previously passed inspection. He explained it was a safety call and the codes now required it.

I signed up for the installation of a new hot water heater through Angie's List. American Eagle Plumbing contacted me by phone, and it took a few phone calls to connect. A date was set and a time window was given. They called at approximately 0800 and said they would be at my house shortly. They arrived shortly after the phone call and got right to work. I don't think it even took them two hours to remove the old and install the new. They also disposed of the old hot water heater. I have had plenty of hot water ever since.

Overall it went well. Jon called me at the appointment time and said he would be at my house soon. He ended up being 15 minutes late. I showed him the problems I wanted him to fix and he provided a quote by item. He noted a few other items and he offered a quote for those as well. I'm not sure what the going hourly rate is for plumbers... he was at my house for 2.5 hours and I ended up paying $425.

Basically, all he did was look over the plumbing of my whole entire house. I thought that the bid that he gave me were astronomical. I know his bids were really high and he was very high pressure. He wanted to do something immediately. He didn't want to schedule out. He wanted to basically not leave my house without doing some sort of work, which was not what I thought that I was getting basically. I feel like he was kind of like one-track mind that it was either all or nothing type thing.

There was $150 in additional costs because they had to complete additional work to get the unit into correct space. They completed the installation and there were some issues with the pilot light. They had to reinstall a different water heater because it was defective. It was more time consuming, but the job was completed in the same day. The completed work is fine.

It looks like a one man shop. He came out and looked at the situation. He's a very nice guy and was right on time. He spent about an hour with me explaining the situation. I think if I had a need for what he was offering, I might have been interested; however, the advertised cost is really extravagant. What he is offering is the normal cost for installation by other people, so I feel kind of taken. The Deal is not a good Deal. He might be good, I don't know. I don't want to say he's bad. He looked competent enough to do what he said he was going to do.

It went good. What started out as a consultation ended in service to areas in my home. I think I did not understand the Big Deal - as I thought one service item would be covered in addition to assessing my home. It was not. I would request more clarity on the Big Deal fine print.

Arrived on time. Replaced heater. Cleaned up afterwards. Very helpful. Answered all questions. Would highly recommend. would hire again.

The installers were prompt, efficient, friendly and professional. The water heater was installed along with a new larger exhaust flue to meet cuurnt codes and they removed the old water heater. Everything from the inital contact to the finished install went smoothly. I would definitely use them again.
