He did the inspection and he was very professional but I just decided not to go with him for repairs because he was charging a little more than what I wanted to pay.

I bought an Angie's List deal for a full home inspection, but upon arrival they only inspected the toilets and the kitchen sink. It was not nearly as comprehensive as the deal had described. The man was nice, but I was disappointed in the result of the Angie's List Deal. He didn't seem interested in doing more and I wasn't interested in pushing for more based on our interaction.

The technician showed up on time and a good job. I was not home for the work. When I came home, I inspected the work and it looked good to me. The faucet works really well. There were extra costs because he did some pipe work in my basement since the pipes were older pipes.

They were great--on time, got the job done quickly and efficiently and did an outstanding job going over the options regarding repair. Very professional.

I would like to begin this review with a comment on business ethics. Too often I deal with trades people with questionable business practices; inflated pricing, late add-ons, shoddy quality, etc., That is why I subscribe to Angie's List, to avoid having to deal with these businesses. Jon has exceptional business ethics. Let me explain, I called Jon for a quote to replace my water heater. He gave me a quote and a discount which I though fair and to which I agreed. I scheduled an appointment. Later, I noticed a different (better) deal on American Eagle's listing on Angie's List so I called Jon back to inquire about the better discount. We had a professional discussion about the pricing of the job and agreed to the original quote which I found acceptable, he was fair. Ten minutes later Jon called me back and said since the discount was legitimately posted on Angie's list he would honor it and further reduced his quote. Jon has integrity. He also has all of my future plumbing business and I will highly recommend him to all my neighbors and friends in need of plumbing services. I called Jon Thursday afternoon, he provided a reasonable quote on the phone, showed up at my home Friday morning (luckily for me he had a cancellation) on time, and completed the job in 2 hours. He laid down drop cloths and was very considerate of my home, not banging into walls or doors and cleaned up completely after the job was completed. Except for the new water heater it was as if he never showed up. He explained the functions of the new water heater and gave me tips on how to drain the heater to extend its usable life (i didn't know you should drain your water heater every 6 months to remove sediment). The leaks and water pools on my basement floor are gone and I have plenty of hot water. Thank you Jon for a job well done and for your exceptional standards.

Jon explained everything clearly and very pleasant to work with. No high pressure, trusted his recommendations. I would definitely use this company again. I had purchased an Angie's list deal, so saved on the repair cost.

They got non time and did a nice job both with the faucet and the water heater pressure valve. The price of the addiyional job seemed to me a bit high, but the job was done clean. The faucet deal included a full house plumbing inspection, but they didn't do it and I forgot about it until the guy had left. Not a big deal, he probably forgot just as I did.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they were okay. As far as the deal was concerned, it wasn't really any deal, because the pricing was competitive with any plumber because of our old plumbing. We have checked the price of putting in a faucet in our home before. The man who came out was a nice man, he was a trustworthy plumber, he did a good job and he was efficient. It wasn't a deal, but he was a good plumber. I paid more than what was on the big deal. He was pretty prompt, and he came out when we wanted him to.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and I did not like the service. It was supposed to be an inspection of a whole bunch of stuff. The gentleman didn't do anything. He told us what we know. Our toilets run, and we should get it fixed. We had a dishwasher installed today, and our tech told me that we had major plumbing issues under our sink, that were never mentioned by this guys, and his pricing for fixing things was thousands of dollars for fixing very small things. We were very unhappy with it. He spent 20 minutes here and I would have thought that all that was mentioned on the big deal would take more than 20 minutes. He tried to get us to pay outside of Angie's List originally. He said that we didn't need to go through Angie's List, if I called and asked for this guy, he would give me the same as what was on Angie's List.

He was polite and on time. He explained all my options well.

It went fine. We were just so-so on the service. He was trying a little too hard to upsell us on some things that we just didn't need. We were not interested in any of that. He was just a little heavy handed on it.

John was pleasant to deal with. The only issue that we had was that he had to make 3 trips to the house before we had everything working and up to code. That said, he made the return visits very promptly after I called. In the end he made things right, which I appreciate.

I decided I couldn't use his services because the cost to replace my old spigot would have been too expensive. He agreed to an immediate refund.

I called Jon to replace some corroded and leaking pipes for my main floor tub and sink. My toilet happened to get clogged about 30 minutes before he arrived as well so I asked him to take care of that too. He replaced all of the piping for around $300.00, and gave me a discount on unclogging the toilet since he was already here. Everything took about an hour. Very friendly and professional and reasonably priced.

I have used them a couple times and they are great.

The guys came out and they did a good job. I would use them again.

If I had just used the big deal for $49 for an outdoor faucet replacement, I would have been very happy with the service. However, I decided to get my other faucet replaced. This one costed me nearly $450. 10 times the price of the first one. I've learned my lesson on and quot;Big Dealsand quot;. I won't get anything more than the deal itself. The work performed was satisfactory, and he was nice.

He came out and said he couldn't do it. He did say I had to cut the wall open and I don't want this right now.

Did not use their service because they never returned my call.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was really good and they did a really good job. I made an appointment and he showed up exactly on time. There were no additional charges. The pricing was a little expensive.

Overall, it went good. John arrived on time. He did a great job. The only thing I don't like is their price. They charged me $250 for putting the new dishwasher in, which is only charged $50 by Home Depot. The reason I didn't use Home Depot is my control valves under the kitchen sink got stuck, the guy from Home Depot can't shut the water off on the day of delivery. But other than that, everything else was great. I am happy with the quality work.

Jon handled the repair excellently. He quoted us a price up front and honored that price, even though the work was a little trickier than he had expected. The repair also required a section of wall to be cut open to allow access. This was done with a minimum of mess, and with advice of how the access hole could be best covered to allow possible future access if necessary. We will definitely use American Eagle for any of our future plumbing needs - we were very satisfied!

It went great! The outdoor spigot dripped and I wanted it fixed. I took advantage of the Angie's List Big Deal. I bought the deal and got my appointment set up. Mark called before coming out so that was nice. I showed him the outdoor spigot. It was set in brick in the front of the house. I was concerned that the brick would need to be cut to get to the faucet. No need for concern. He did have to cut the sheet rock in the family room to get to the pipes and that was an additional $65 but that was ok because that won't be a big deal to fix. He went right to work and replaced the faucet. He showed me his work after he completed. Everything was good. He was very nice and polite and didn't make a mess. I'm very happy with everything.
