I had a pipe that I thought was freezing. He came out and said he couldn't do anything until it was frozen. My frustration was that if he knew he couldn't do anything with a pipe that wasn't frozen yet, why did he come out? He told me that I needed to call someone else. He was pleasant and able to come right away, which I appreciate. I was worried about delaying treatment.

I wasn't really happy with the service. I purchased the big deal specifically because there was an issue in the bathroom where water was backing up. I didn't think the inspection was very thorough. I also didn't get a call back to schedule, and I had to call them to set up the appointment; this delayed the appointment time.

American Eagle Plumbing was real good. They did everything they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. He was just very professional and polite. The work is perfect. He was very friendly.

Jon was right on time, called when he was on his way. I initially called to have him repair a loose kitchen faucet and a dripping bathroom faucet. When he arrived (this was on Tuesday the 25th – ) he fixed the kitchen faucet and then ... the bathroom faucet wasn't dripping!! We sat and watched it for a few minutes ... nothing! Of course the dang thing started to drip again 24 hours later and I once again called Jon who came over, replaced the guts of both the hot and cold faucets and even gave me a bit of a discount since he had just been to my house a couple of days before. Jon is professional, on time, courteous and has a great work ethic – I would recommend him without hesitation.

looked at the bath tub spout. He shortened the copper pipe and replaced the tub spout sealing and cleaning the residual caulk. Unfortunately the next day I again contacted American Eagle as the toilet appeared to be leaking at the base, and the tub spout had blown off due to the water pressure. John immediately made arrangements to return apologizing for the services he had performed. He returned at the scheduled time (after calling me when he was 15 minutes away from Chaska) and immediately inspected the toilet. The leak came from the tank bolt, and after tightening the bolt and flushing numerous times to ensure that the tank was not leaking he then looked at the tub spout. He brought with him a replacement spout per our phone conversation, and promptly began to replace the spout sealing it with caulk. He agreed that he would locate a new face plate to replace the one that had been discolored due to the type of cleaner that he had used initially. He advised that a higher quality shower head replace the existing one that had been purchased at Home Depot and installed by us. John indicated that he would call once he had located a similar but higher quality shower head and advise me of the costs. Throughout the entire time that he was at my home he apologized for needing to return and that he appreciated the trust that we had placed in him by contacting his company to do the plumbing work. Later that day, John called and advised that he had located a shower head and told me the costs and would locate a face plate for the tub.

I was going to have Lowe's install the garbage disposal. However, I learned they charged just under $150. I purchased a deal from Angie's List a couple of years ago where a very good plumber installed an earlier disposal for under $100. So I bought this deal from Angie's List, $50 for $100 of work thinking it would be sufficient. To my surprise I was charged an additional $85 on top the coupon making it not much of a deal. The work was done well and I have no other complaints.

An energy audit told us that we should upgrade to a forced-vent system. Installers inspected the home and recommended a different solution to the one we discussed on the phone, one that was a better physical fit for our home. Work was done professionally. Price estimate was met.

I contacted American Eagle through purchasing a List deal ($50 for $100 of plumbing services) and explained in the note that I had a slow leak under my sink and couldn't determine the source. Jon (the owner) responded immediately to my email as my issue was pretty urgent. Despite being booked solid for more than a week out, he came out that evening, found and fixed the problem, only charged me the additional cost for parts and then took a look at my hot water heater for free! He was very professional and knowledgeable and I will keep his number on my fridge.

Went very well. It was determined that the problem, liquid between tub and tub liner, did not pose an issue that needed to be addressed. I paid only for the service call. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and very professional. I was quite pleased with the service provided.

When I called, someone answered right away. He was not able to make it out to my house right away and was very honest about his schedule and didn't want to make a promise and not be able to follow through. I really, really appreciated that. He was incredibly professional and respectful. I ended up going with someone else who was able to make it out, but I would have been happy to use this service.

While his asistant did much of the work to replace the faucet, Mr. Scheumann did a careful inspection of all of the plumbing on three floors. He pointed out a couple of things that needed to be fixed to be in code compliance. He was very friendly while still being very professional. He certainly seemed to know his stuff, and answered all of my questions completely. I do not usually need a plumber, but I would have no hesitation calling him if I did.

A journeyman came with an apprentice, which I think is wonderful. I had purchased $100 worth of work for $50. They came and quoted a price for 2 jobs. My sink had been running slow and stopping up for over a year. (I tried home remedies that did not work). They fixed the problem and also provided me with some information on preventing the problem in the future. Great guys! Very professional, kind and really knew what they were talking about.

I was very pleased with American Eagle's service. I really appreciated Jon's flexibility in scheduling; his very thorough inspection and clear and concise recommendations. I would certainly recommend his services.

Plumber called promptly but could not visit for over a week for my leaking toilet. He told me to turn off the water to the toilet, but then when he came to repair it, told me that the inside parts dried out. To rebuild the toilet or get anew one was very expensive. I ended up doing the work myself.

Jon returned my voicemail quickly and was responsive to scheduling with me, even though drain cleaning is not the main focus of his work normally. He called while enroute to my house and arrived on time. He quickly and thoroughly attended to the 2 plugged drains that I had called about and was gracious to look at the sink that I mentioned upon his arrival. He left my bathrooms as clean as he found them. He was professional and respectful. The drains now work perfectly.

There was a valve that controlled water pressure that needed replacing. He had the part on his truck and was vert thorough in his work.
