I reached out to this provider and others who were all busy at that time. Due to the nature of my needs with my very leaky toilet, he called me back and told me that he would reschedule another appointment to get me taken care of. Given that I was not a previous customer, I was very impressed by his level of service. He listened to my concerns and fixed everything top notch. Also, I live in a mobile home, and in pouring rain, he had to undo the skirting of my mobile home to get under and turn the water on and off multiple times while doing the service. He showed up wearing a white starched shirt which after this was certainly not the case, but he still did the work with a smile. I was very pleased and impressed.

Terrible. First of all, I paid upfront and was only contacted through email, not phone. I had to call to find out what was going on. Second, I explained that my basement is an old limestone basement with a cement slab and that my current water heater is 30 gallon. I also explained how to open the trap door in the kitchen to get to the basement. The person I talked to, John, asked me to take pictures and I was not sure what he meant but I am not currently living in the house so I had to make a special trip to take pictures. I was not able to send the pictures before the appointment but assured him that several years ago a new boiler was installed down there and that there ought to be a way to install a water heater. The day of the appointment, John called me and I again explained this door to him and then asked him if he still wanted pictures. He did not. He explained to me that he wasn't even sure that they would be able to install a water heater and that he was on his way to look at the door and basement. I was feeling less than settled about this and was annoyed to find out that he was going there alone. I did not understand this because he was the one who was concerned about the basement and the door. At this time, I predicted that he would make the 60 minute round trip drive just to tell me that he could not help me. I was right. He said that if he could remove the door he could do it but didn't know how to remove the door! If he would have brought another person along, the other person could have held the door. Not only was this super frustrating for me, I can't believe that I can ask a company to install and water heater and they can't figure out a way to retain my business!! I got the feeling that he was on the clock to simply pretend to do his job for an hour. Kristin

It turned out fine, they did a good job. It was really well handled. I actually hired them to do another job at a different property as well. I thought they were pretty expensive, but with the discount Angie's List gave me, they were right in the ballpark. The other work I had done was fairly expensive.

We ordered their discount "deal" and were satisfied with the results. John the plumber was thorough and efficient in installing the water heater. We were living on borrowed time with a 19 year old water heater installed in a room with no floor drain. Our ancient water heater was a Rheem water heater, and the fact it lasted 19 years speaks well for Rheem. Our replacement is a Rheem also. The deal was $899 for the installation, $100 to replace an old pipe and defective valve, and $100 for local permits.

It went great! Jon showed up on time, and was extremely pleasant. He listened to my concerns, and fixed all of the issues with a smile. His customer service is unparalleled, and the quality of work is outstanding. I'm pretty frugal, so I think everything is expensive, BUT I didn't mind the cost of his services as much as I thought. :) He's great. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

It was expensive. There were multiple up charges. I bought a toilet and they didn't say that it wouldn't work for commercial property. When they came back, my hole was gone and the toilet was bad. That would cost me another $100. By the time it was all done, it was $750.

Jon S. was excellent. First, he replaced our outside faucet because it leaked really bad. He was very thorough and efficient. Then< I asked him if he could fix our toilet because it was leaking. He told me the cost and I said go for it. He took off the toilet and showed me the leakage and the problem. He cleaned up the mess very well and Put on a new toilet gasket and bolts. Both jobs, he was excellent and thorough and cleaned up the mess after he was finished. I would definitely recommend him and American Eagle for future plumbing problems. I highly recommend Jon for your plumbing needs. He was on time, clean, neat, friendly. I asked him to come give me a quote for the work I needed done and he was able to do the work on the spot, same day service, and the total project only took him about an hour. Very experienced and knew what he was doing. Took the time to show me what the original problem was and showed me my cracked pipe once he removed it from the ceiling in the basement. I had received a quote from another company and they told me they would have to remove part of my ceiling to do the job but Jon was able to complete the project without having to do any demolition. I am very pleased with the work. Jon even made a movie recommendation for my daughter and I to see which was nice. I will call Jon for my future plumbing needs.

The work was done well and the plumber was great to all of us - including my very friendly dog.

John, the owner and plumber, is respectful, punctual, does a great job for a great price. He offered to come out a second time at a later date without the arrival fee so I could spread the work out, and then not have to pay everything all at once. He then came out another time for free to fix the dishwasher leak. It couldn't be detected before since my old garbage disposal was leaking, but he still didn't charge me for the trip OR the repair. nice guy, I highly recommend.

Jon arrived on time and quickly repaired the outside faucet. He took the time to explain proper winter preparation as we also had a in ground sprinkler attached to that outlet. Very pleasant and professional.

American Eagle Plumbing was a referral I received from one of the sub-contractors I was using on my rehab project. After reviewing several plumbing bids, I chose American Eagle to provide a 100% redo of the plumbing on my rehab project. Jon the owner was upfront about scheduling and timelines. Once the start date arrived for my plumbing project, Jon and his crew were on site performing the work. All of the work done was first class and top rate quality. Jon was wonderful from the start. Very helpful in responding to my email and setting up an appointment. My intention was to replace the outdoor hose faucet and cold water valve but that didn't happen. After looking at the faucet, it was determined that a piece of sheet rock in the wall would need to be cut. We couldn't come to an agreement with that part so we just did the water valve. It works great and no more leaking! Thank you!

Jon repaired a flawed install (done by my son) of main bath sink and removed a wall hung sink and installed new sink/vanity in upstairs bath. He did work for us before and we would not consider using anyone else. He does excellent work and is friendly and professional.

Very well. Came and worked even though it was raining. Timely and courteous. Even looked at issue we we having with toilet they had previously worked on and corrected the issue, which was minor.

After going through 3 other plumbers - one that gave me the "Let me get back to you," line and didn't, two that gave me sky high quotes - Jon of American Eagle Plumbing, Inc was the first one to understand that we weren't made of money, and to provide a solution that we could handle. Our situation was VERY difficult - removing and replacing two water heaters in 5 ft tall crawl space is horrible work - and my husband is VERY particular. Jon was able to handle us with ease, and, between him and Josh, was not only very respectful of our home, but did a superb job on the installation. In a nutshell, if your are looking for a plumber, I would highly recommend Jon of American Eagle Plumbing, Inc.

We discovered a small pinhole leak in our copper pipe in the basement one evening, and started to call plumbers through Angie's List. It was after hours, and we didn't have much hope to get a call until the next day. Within an hour, Jon at American Eagle Plumbing called me back. He was friendly, listened to the issue, and committed to getting over the next afternoon (we had the ability to shut the water off to stop the leaking, so we had some time). Not only did Jon arrive the next day, he called and said he could get over early if we were free. He came over, talked me through what he would do, and provided cost for that work. As he was working, he discovered he needed to replace a longer run of pipe than anticipated, which he alerted me to before doing the work. Jon finished the job quickly, did quality work, and was friendly and efficient. He communicated well, was in returning our message and in arriving for the job. I would not hesitate to use American Eagle again - they will be our first call for plumbing needs going forward, and we wouldn't hesitate in suggesting to our friends and family if they have plumbing work.

Jon was prompt and professional. He took care to protect my carpets during removal of the toilets from my home. The installation was done efficiently and was completed in less time than I was expecting. Overall, I'm very pleased and will call American Eagle Plumbing in the future with any plumbing work that I need done and would recommend them to others.

It was a tough job (copper pipe was right up against wood) but it went very well.
