Overall Mario is a decent guy but left my entire project hanging after being Paid. There were still some final touches to be done and Mario just disappeared and stop responding to my calls & Text. I will never recommend this person to do any work after the trust I put into him. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS REMODELING COMPANY FOR ANY WORK. Few things that Mario didn't do that felt sketchy after I asked of him for a few times. - Receipts for Materials - Warranty Paperwork for the Work completed - Didn't follow the Backsplash pattern so backsplash had to be redone - Tried to Cover holes with trimming - Dented my new Dishwasher, Lost parts & didn't install it properly I can blame myself for not asking him for an actual contract before working so everything is in writing but I hope that this review will help someone else realize that he is not a good person to work with overall. Whenever you are working with a Remodeling company protect yourselves and ask for everything in writing before agreeing to any working or payment. Lesson learned.

I love the work.

The work was timely, affordable and high quality. Mario was friendly and very responsive to all our needs and concerns. He delivered a job greater than our expectations. We had 2 prior quotes for the same job and the estimates were 2 and 4 times more. Admittedly we were a little apprehensive because of the price difference, but we weren’t disappointed. At the final walk through, we looked for every flaw that we could find but couldn’t find any. Superb Job

Mario and his team were terrific! They showed up on time every day, did a great job, were respectful of our home, cleaned up everything after they were completed, and above all - did everything in the way they we asked for them to do. We had our popcorn ceiling removed and wanted smooth ceilings - as in NO texture - and Mario's team had the right experience to do it. I got 3 other bids and all 3 companies hesitated on the smooth ceiling and tried to talk me out of it. One gave me an estimate more than double what Salinas was charging; I think that one really just didn't want the business. We also had some minor construction to do prior to painting (removing some non-bearing columns), and Salinas Home Improvement was able to remove the columns, patch the wood, and paint it where you can't even tell the columns were there. Other companies told me that they only painted, and would have to hire that out. All in all, Salinas Home Improvement is a top notch company and we will be bringing them back for more upgrades.

I am in the final stages of my third major project with Salinas Home Improvement. I cannot speak highly enough of Mario Salinas and his team. There is absolutely nothing they can’t do. Quality work, fair pricing and wonderful people. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Salinas Construction.
