Company came out, performed the work and left. It was 4 to 5 nights later that I found myself on top of the roof nailing down my shingles on my newly completed roof at two or three o'clock in the morning when a wind came through. To make a long story short, over the years (from 2008 to early 2011) we had shingles flying off the roof in a certain place of the roof most exposed to the wind. After another hail and wind storm removed many shingles from the roof, my insurance company revealed to me that the roof was not covered because of poor workmanship. The explanation: overdriven nails in each tile. If you know anything about roofing, the nails have a very large head that is used to hold down the shingle for support and to keep it in place ......from being blown off in sub-hurricane winds. Mr. Manley corrected one part of the roof that was experiencing the damage, and admitted that the shingles were over-driven. He looked at no other part of the roof and never offered to make good on the poor workmanship issue for the rest of the roof. When tiles were starting to be blown from other parts of the roof earlier this year, I was informed from Mr.Manely that my warranty had run out. Before I could remind him that he had a workmanship issue, he hung up on me. My mistake using this company is your gift. Go with another company that appreciates its customers after the work is done and does it right the first time. If you gamble, use this company and hope that the work will be done right the first time. Don't let promises of Mr. Manley paying your deductible change your mind. You may get your deductible back, but have headaches for a very long time.
Description of Work: Hired the company to do a complete re-roofing job, tear-off and total replacement of shingles damaged by a hail storm. I remember sitting down at my dining room table and talking with the owner, Paul Manley. He asked me if I wanted to replace the shingles with the better quality shingles, 30 year warranty, the ones I currently had, and since our insurance company had paid for a complete tear-off and quality shingles, I said yes.
